Unfortunately, it cannot be visited at the moment and it has suffered a bit from time, but fortunately the interior has survived the ravages of time. Hopefully it will be seen in its old glory soon.

The Danube Palace is one of the most impressive architecture in the whole Budapest. It is awesome and huge both with daily light as well as enlightened by the night lights. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to join a tour because tickets were all sold out. This will be one of the most beautiful memories we will bring back home.

Nice building with theater hall and rooms for various events. Some parts need renovation, though.

Beautiful late 19th century theatre. Amazing that it was not damaged during either world war so all of the wood work, plaster, and lighting are original.

We visited here just as a meeting point. You can see the potential to get the place back to its old glory days, but unfortunately it has been left to fall apart. Such a shame.

Small and pretty theatre offering regular folk performances that display very interesting features of Hungarian and Gypsy history.

We attended this gorgeous palace for a performance of 'Hungarian Folk'. I enjoyed it immensely, and ended up buying their CD. The venue itself was gorgeous, intimate, and comfortable.
