A great little museum on the history of the ambulance service in Búdapest/Hungary. It's filled with historic memorabilia, models of vehicles and kit (equipment) used in first aid since the 1800s. An excellent museum for those who have a little interest/medical experience in ambulance and first aid. A little tricky to find. Go through the archway, to the right up and through the door and upstairs on the second floor is the museum with a motorcycle outside.

(Translated by Google) The cellar museum opened in connection with the 1956 revolution. Whoever has a memory for this age will breed. The sound of the siren, the bombshell sound and the wax figures on concealed loudspeakers present the activities of the time. Rovid program, about 20 minutes to ask for a guide. You can still see the ambulances in the yard today. (Original) 1956-os forradalomhoz kapcsolodoan felallitott pincemuzeum. Akinek e korhoz emleke van, annak fajni fog. Rejtett hangszorokon szol a szirena, a bombazas hangja, es viaszfigurak mutatjak be a korabeli tevekenyseget.

A great place, a great museum for those interested in saving lives, the centuries-old history of Hungarian rescuers and humanitarian aid. Interesting facts can also be revealed here about the rescue of people after the sinking of the Titanic. It is recommended for adults and children alike, alone, for families, schools, and interested groups. Special, unique group guidance is also available in Hungarian and English. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

An interesting small museum about Hungarian rescue services, with a recreation of a basement hospital used in the Hungarian uprising. Friendly and kind staff who will explain things to you.

Napközis tábor keretein belül látogattunk el a múzeumba. Nagyon jó program gyerekeknek/felnőtteknek egyaránt. 🙂

A particularly high-quality exhibition. A lot of interesting objects show the life of the rescuers, starting from their establishment. In addition to all of this, we also received a guided tour that captured the children's attention.

A gödi Huzella Tivadar Ált. Isk. IV. osztályos tanulóit kísértem (segítő nagyszülőként) erre a programra. ❤

Kedves, szakértő idegenvezető, érdekes, néha vicces, néha szomorú emlékek a mentés történetéből. Köszönjük a munkájukat!

World's oldest ambulance station with the worlds first dispatch center and a wonderful ambulance museum and a replica of a real bunker hospital used during the 1956 revolution against the USSR.

Dr. Kresz Géza (1846-1901) is the founder of this museum and was the chief medical officer of the Voluntary Ambulance Unit in Budapest and founder of the ambulance system in Hungary. The museum displays artifacts from the history, equipment and ambulances of ambulances. Entrada gratuita.

(Translated by Google) Small, but very informative museum, which reproduces the history of the rescue service in words, pictures and various antique first aid equipment with many small details. The underground hospital wards from the war and revolutionary times and their historical medical equipment are extremely interesting.

(Translated by Google) It is unique in the world. Such a detailed and themed ambulance museum that is not only nationally available here. In addition, he is a tour guide who, in addition to running a museum, has active retirement rescue status. In addition, free groups are welcome. Plus, the little ones are interesting and useful too. He is at a working ambulance station where, if there are today's ambulances, you can see the progress compared. Recommended for everyone! In the night of museums, old, operable ambulances are brought separately. (Original) A világon egyedülálló. Emellett ingyenes...csoportokat is várnak.

Very curious place with many medic equipment. It is free and the ladies who take care of the place are very nice :) the only problem is that they don't have many things in English.
