I have been going here for over 10 years. I love this tiny pub with the lovely bartender. The place is unique and it is tiny. It is a must to stop by here and get some refreshments. The pub is the oldest one on the castle hill area, situated in probably the oldest building +1000 years .... despite the location it is absolutely not a touristic place BUT I would recommend anyone to come here and have some refreshments.... it will be something to remember and actually very helpful for the women who are working here. Insider tips, in case you are here for a few days you could ask her if she can prepare dinner for one day.....it will be as authentic as it gets ❤️❤️❤️ It is a place like feels like home because of the host, the friendly locals and simply the place is tiny. The host is just amazing 😍.....In the beginning of march 2022 I brought a newly arrived Ukrainian refugee family here to warm up the three little kids. The fantastic and empathetic host was struggling to keep her tears back and she brought toys and drinks etc for the little family AND she insisted we would come back the day after for a lovely dinner that I was refused to pay for. This woman is amazing ❤️.

This was the only decent food I had in Budapest. A great value. No English needed because you can point at what you want. Great selection of fresh salads to choose from in addition to hot food. This place puts the nearby restaurants to shame.

This is an amazing gem while my friend and I were exploring Budapest. Mia the bartender shared with us her experience and rich history of the city. Tiny Little Bar. Great Plate of stuffed cabbage leaves. Nice beer and friendly lady behind the bar. Themed in homage to the 1953 "Hero's of Wembley" Hungarian National Football Team and other Hungarian National sports heroes. Nice home made food and a very friendly lady behind the bar.

Super nice lady at the bar, almost saved our lives and helped us hide from the rain and gave us couple of beer(which was very tasty). This place is of my best experiences in Europe
