First of all, congratulations of ruining our stay in otherwise beautiful city. To begin with, this hotel is half an hour drive to the city center, which is not cheap at all if You prefer taking a taxi. It is located in industrial zone, with no supermarkets, fast food, grocery stores, coffee shops, or anything interesting whatsoever in a few miles radius. I was there with my girlfriend this year during winter time. There was no hot water in the showers. What we got could be described as lukewarm at best. Also, tap water is not drinkable, and there was no drinkable water You can get at a hotel at all. Both the cardboard on the floor and the bed mattresses were stained. The only thing that can even remotely be considered decent was breakfast. Overall, don't get fooled by the travel agencies the same way we did, and avoid this place at all costs.

This is the uglyest hotel I ever been. Ever. Only one towel, not qween size bed, hidious and dirty bathroom and room. Any refgridge....and very very expensive.

Drainage in the bathroom is terrible. After a shower, the bathroom floor is flooded, and a mess 1 towel provided per person The location is not bad

Happy to see the reviews :) that i am not the only one hating this hotel. It was a disappointment from the first minute you come here. Old building renovated since "the Fall of a BERLIN Wall". You reconsider your option as soon as you interact with a person who called himself "Robert the Receptionist". The so called "3 Star" hotel had nothing to say positive except Breakfast. - Location is suitable only for a car owners - Flat Mattereses felt like sleeping on a carpet would have been a better deal. - Your morning starts with a cold water - You have a TV but goodluck with finding the remote ;)

Transit hotel. The room is pretty small and organized like a dormitory room. The bathroom is not that clean. The TV doesn’t have any buttons and there is no remote (you have to ask for it at the reception with a 10 euro deposit). At breakfast there were a lot of turist and you have to wait in line for 10 minutes.

Good hotel for the money. In the morning there is a free breakfast, spacious, clean rooms, the bathroom has everything you need. We were able to leave our luggage at the reception for free, where you can buy coffee. The only downside is that it was quite cold in the room.

This place is good if you have no other choice in the middle of the night. The bathroom was moldy and not well cleaned. The carpet was awful and full with stains. At the window of the room were I was in, there was a street lightning pole, that made so much light that you thought the sun is at sunset. Breakfast is included.

To be honest, the place is very cozy and the price is affordable ! Highly recommended for vacation. The location located is very strategic. It’s convenience! I love this place so much and for sure I’ll return back again

I really rarely rate any facilities so low, predominantly I struggle to appreciate ideas, professionalism, taste, etc. But among all hotel and guest houses we stayed, this one was the worst. Believe me or not, I used to sleep in hostels or private accommodations with much more better standards. Our room was dirty, especially longstanding spots on the carpet. My mom was gnawed-up by some worms (despite clean sheets). Neglected bathroom daunted us... No curtain or shower stalls...

Ridiculous price for its quality level and location. I would not pay more than 10 euros per night for this one.

Terrible experience! :( Disaster of a hotel! It's in the middle of an industrial zone(the factories and storage spaces share the same yard and parking space as the hotel) and there are no amenities nearby. It does not take you a long time to notice that the hotel is compeltely forlorned. Black stains everywhere, smelly rooms, bathrooms with mold between the tiles, moldy walls... The beds are special experience...in just one night i found four different types of bed bugs :( I visited in december and the room had no heating (the temperature outside was 2 degrees!). The staff knows this and still wont take any action to solve any problem. No hairdryer or slippers and no remote for the tv. Poor breackfast, the restaurant does not work full time and there is no food or drinks nearby. Literaly they should pay you to sleep here... The conditions are unhuman.

Really bad hotel, far from the inner city center, located in industrial zone with none grocery store or restaurant is near. Rooms are dirty and you can enter rooms without key card, so is dangerous to leave your documents or money when you are out. Main guests are Asian migrant workers. Only good thing is that wi fi works normaly all the time. Honest advice is to avoid staying in this "hotel".

I had 1 night of staying there. Twin room was nice. There was clean and cozy. We have clean towels and soap. Also there was an air conditioner. In the morning we went to the breakfast (spaghetti, sausages, scrambled eggs, croissants, coffee/lemonade etc). Not far from the city center. I like it for its price.

I hate giving bad reviews however with this one, I need to. A couple of days ago, me and my girlfriend booked a hotel room only to receive a room where the mattress was stained with God knows what. I personally find that outrageous, paying 40€ to sleep on a stained mattress in a room that was also quite messy. The walls were all muddy and stained. The shower had 2 knobs, 1 for hot and the other one for cold water yet you couldn't mix them, you either had boiling hot water that was impossible to hold onto your skin for more than 2 seconds or freezing cold one, nothing in-between. Overall, not the experience we were expecting.

Nice establishment for the price. Food is great. Especially the breakfast. Rooms are adequately furnished. They clean the rooms each day.

Dirty, smelly, bad service, so much wrong with it I can't even count it all. A shame considering how neat the rest of Budapest is.

I stayed here for 1 night. The room was clean, the view, atleast from my room was beautiful. The staff was nice and helpful.

Room was tidy and clean but there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, air needs to be freshed prior to check in. Bed was ok, room was clean. No water, tea etc as complimentary. Breakfast was ok, there were options to select.

Rooms are quite big, location is surrounded by couple supermarkets and decent restaurants. Overall it's a good hotel to stay while mostly exploring the city

Hotel Berlin is located in industrial zone, far away from the city center. You can't find any grocery store or restaurant near. Hotel guests are mainly workers from near factories or constructions. Rooms are dirty

Nice and good place. I read the old reviews but gave it a chance and was not disappointed. It is in a very good location and parking is easy. I recommend to everyone.

Transit hotel. They don't trust their customers with a remote tv or a hair drayer. Minimalist towels and quilts. Almost decent cleaning. Noisy hvac, in some ground rooms quite ineffective. Receptionist is very nice but can't help too much with anything. Good breakfast. One night only if you are cash strapped...

Only suited for one night maximum First of all, the elevator works really slowly and also makes loud noises when the doors open or close so if you need to use it at night,you would wake up the unlucky ones to have their room in front of the elevator. Second of all,it is really confusing to even find your room, since you could i.e. have room 202 in front of room 216 and so on. Speaking of the rooms, they are small and if for e.g. you wanna charge anything while you are out of the hotel you can't unless you would like to lock yourself out since power is on only if the keycard is inserted in the special slot. Even the heater/a.c. doesn't work while you are away, which is not great, especially in the winter. Also, the installation is so loud you would love to turn it off but you can't since the room gets cold kinda fast. Also, I had many problems with the rooms, yes I stayed in 2 rooms, including but not limited to doors that don't close properly or at all, like the bathroom door on my first room, a smell in the bathroom but that did go away after leaving the door open for some time. Also, there are only 3 plugs for charging your devices, one of which is taken by the tv but you can at least unplug it. None of those 3 is close to the beds however but that is just a small convenience issue. Also, in the second room I only had one pillow and one blanket even though I shared the room with someone and there was also a couch which could accommodate a third person but not in the most comfortable conditions, since it was short. Also, one of my friends complained getting itches after she used her blanket and it looked like there were small bites on her, like by ants or other insects. I can't talk about the breakfast since I missed it but, in the end, since it is cheap, I would say it is bearable for one night if you are planning to mostly spend time outside the hotel to do sightseeing or shopping and just need a bed and breakfast place for the night.

We were on a tour in Budapest and stayed hare for 2 nights. For the price, the breakfast was plenty, it was tasty. The rooms were clean, room service came 2 times, the lobby was big enough for a small gathering and the personnel was friendly. It was very hot (positive for winter conditions) and there was always hot water. It's not very close to the center of town ~7km but all in all it was great.

Hotel is really modern and cool, but it has a special smell and i did not like that. breakfast and dinner are good and fresh, soup is amazing. but this depends what people like. Budapest is one amazing city, my favorite thing is sailing on river Dunav, it is really magical like a fairy tale. One thing that i did not like were people who are little to serious.

I had much bigger expectations from this hotel. First thing I want to say is about rooms: I am very concerned about how those rooms got rated at a 3 star level. The furniture is old and the bathroom was horrible (I had constantly about half an inch of water on the floor). On the other side, the restaurant is decent and the food is quite good. It has a big parking lot and the staff is decent enough. Per total a mediocre place.
