It is all about looks! Apart from the decorations this place offers you moody waiters who are depressed to work for the 13% service fee included in the bill... The overpriced food arrived after 40 minutes, it was cold and tasted nothing special, I also needed to go and pick up some gyros nearby since it was not enough. Also I did drink here the most expensive !!Soda water!! In town. For the ones who don't know it is basically a tap water with CO2. The second star would go for the decorations but how that come across with sustainability? It is nice but it will end up in the trashcan soon enough. In total everyone can decorate a place, that doesn't makes it a good place. They need motivated staff who doesn't behave bored and works for the service fee not included at the end even if they did nothing good. And the food needs a serious upgrade. Quality, quantity and warmth. Oh and the menu on their Facebook page is outdated. They just raise their prices.

Avoid if you have any self respect. After promising start with a pretty entrance but then rapidly declined. Clearly not a regular haunt as I noted the two nearest tables also complaining about how disappointing they found it and wouldn’t be returning either. Where do I start? Here’s what I liked: • Reasonably good attempt to make it look pretty and a big focus on the decor being shabby chic. What I didn’t like: • Service. Indifferent, not particularly warm or welcoming and definitely not accommodating. • Food. Wow - absolutely dire. I ordered the ‘American pancakes with fresh fruit’ as was told the eggs were served with lettuce and ‘some baguette’ if I wanted it! What appeared did indeed look like a short stack but the fruit was a tiny diced portion of who knows what. The pancakes were dry and flaky and not nice at all. I thought I would try to redeem it with maple syrup. I was instead given (and initially charged for) a tiny portion of congealed sugar syrup with a crust which was NOT maple syrup and certainly not worth the additional €2! • The coffee was not that great either. • The final straw was the dulcet tones of the Bossart Ensemble Do I recommend going? NO Will I go again? NO Was it good value? NO Price point: $ Overall this is not a good advertisement for eating out in Budapest.

Looking for a bite to eat and wanting something fun we booked a tabe at the Vintage Garden which looked like an instagram influencers wet dream. Sure it's kind of kitsch but it wears it heart on its sleeve and serves up some great food which filled me up. I love prawn linguini's and decided to try their version of it which hit the spot alongside the strawberry lemonade. It was pretty empty due to the time of the day but I can see it being a popular place during busy periods. Staff were welcoming and provided a good, fast service.

Vintage Garden was an amazing recommendation by my relative. It's always exciting to discover trendy tourist attractions with beautiful interiors that are totally Instagram-worthy. It's even better when the food and drinks live up to the hype! I’m thankful for the staff for making an extra special experience while dining here. It's always a pleasure when a recommendation turns out to be a memorable experience.

The place is beautiful yes, and instragramable and i think people go there only for that. The service was quick but a little insistent, i felt like i have to leave immediately after finishing eating. It's sad because the place is very relaxing but i feel stressed out because of that. The choice is a little limited, i tasted the vegetarian croque monsieur, basically it was cheese and dry tomato and a very small salad. I didn't like it and was still hungry. So im a little disappointed.

I'm generally disappointed. The waiters can definitely be better and friendlier. Interior is very pleasant, but the food is average. If you want to make great Instagram photos I recommend, but form service and food aspects you can find better place in Budapest.

It is beauty itself, love seeing art around me 😍 and it is just the art of decor for sure !! Always the best choice for a date with loved ones ♥️ the food is delicious and there are big portions which I prefer the most. Love eating lot from the deliciousness.

The ambient is really beautiful! However, the food isn’t anything special or really tasty and kind of expensive. I definitely recommend to check out other breakfast/brunch places.

Great interior, always redecorated to fit the current season. Great place for group dining, birthdays and bridal/baby showers. Good food and drinks menu too

Lovely breakfast and brunch place in the Jewish Quarter of Budapest. Located in Dob Street, the center of lively weekend parties, popular among the young tourists, mostly from the UK and Germany.

The place is very nice and cozy, I love how they decorated it with all the forniture but I don't understand why the outside room is so much different than the indoor part (I like more the latter one); the staff is also very nice and friendly. On the other hand, the food is too pricey and it is not worth the price, also they charge you in the bill circa an extra 30% for the service, and it is not specified anywhere. What a pity, this place has so much potential but also some critical points to be fixed. I still recommend you to come here for a coffe just to take a look at the furniture.

Food was ok, nothing special, staff was nice but kinda stressed me out - because the waiter was waiting right beside me to finish my meal so he could take my plate. Same with paying the bill. Also we didn’t get any water so we left the place very thirsty.

  • 3/5 Smaro K. 4 months ago on Google
The place was beautiful and cosy.Though the staff was very rude . We asked very nicely to pay separately and they just say no , very rudely , and gave me the p.o.s to pay the whole bill. It was also overpriced…we paid much more for some bread we didn’t order

Great food full of flavor. I recommend the eggs Benedikt. No waiting time even without any reservation. And very nice ambience. Definelitely recommended.

It’s a nice place to come and visit with your couple or for a bachelorette pre party, it’s close to all the fiesta bar’s! The food is tasty… good portions and the place and service is nice, I really like the music the played during the dinner so this is a good place to go if you want a good dinner and not suffer for the reservation because the place is big and with a lot of space!

I celebrated my 20th birthday here. The place is absolutely beautiful and it fit my birthday theme. Unfortunately, the downside was the food. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. There wasn’t a lot of seasoning on it and tasted quite blend. On the other hand, service was good. We had a nice waiter.

  • 4/5 Maarten H. 7 months ago on Google
Very nice place. And way bigger then it seems if you just look inside. In the back the decoration and theme is really nice. Next to that, the mimosa and the breakfast was really good. Especially when nextdoor is too crowded, this is a really good alternative.

Lovely venue, very pretty and Instagram worthy. Was surprised that it wasn’t so much a brunch venue but rather full on meals. Adored the cocktail. Felt service was a little slow but staff very friendly.

It's my first time to dine here with my family. Its a nice place. The staffs are friendly and attentive. The food is good. The place is perfect for those who love to post on social media. It's very instagrammable.

Sadly the eggs were overcooked and the Salmon Tartar was simply cut up smoked salmon. The lavender lemonade was however lovely. The service tried but was lacking, however that is a general problem in Budapest as there is a service charge so they don’t get tips.

Nice restaurant with many photo areas and quite tasty cuisine. Who writes that it is expensive, well, if you count everything and consider how this restaurant is decorated and looks like take care of it, I think that the prices are normal. I really enjoyed the fish and the dessert was delicious and fresh. The service was good. If you want to enjoy the atmosphere and get a beautiful photo, then definitely come here!

Love this place! I have tried here when the season of pumpkins, and they’d decorated everywhere with pumpkinsss which is soo cozy and nice! Now I see their photos of christmas decortions and I will definietly visit! I have tried coffee which was not hot:( but warm, and cheesecake which tasted good.

The place is very beautiful and cute, the staff was friendly and fast, the food was fast. Sadly I ordered pancakes and it was tasting like eggs. I would give -0 to my order, I couldn’t finish and i was trying to eat because i paid around 16-18€ for a cappuccino and the pancakes.

Very good food for fair prices. The place is really neatly decorated. Vegetarian options are limited but I had a salad with grilled goat cheese there and it was delicious. Brunches available until 5pm. I reccomend making a reservation otherwise you will be either not seated or seated in the hallway which is not really pleasant.

This was a nice find. We got reservations and glad we did as it got busy after we got there. The service was fantastic they were very friendly. The food was great as well. The menu had plenty to choose from. The place was beautifully decorated some of the pictures were taken by my daughter so enjoy those 😊.

The food was tasty. The decorations are very nice, I’d say the unique selling point of the place. I had the impression that it is more of a breakfast/brunch place than a dinner one. However I wouldn’t go back again for trying the brunch.

Booked a table on sunday 14th January evening for a birthday meal, staff were nice and attentive. Food wise had the duck pasta with mushroom sauce, oh my it was lovely. An oreo blueberry cheesecake for dessert too was really nice. Loses a star as the main reason for waiting to come here is from Instagram and Google pictures it's a pink and flowery restaurant which are two of my favourite things put together, however on the day we went the main restaurant area was shut due to redecorating and the restaurant is scheduled to be shut for the next 2 days to accommodate more redecorating. The only bit of pink they had still besides the pink and white painted walls was pink neon wing lights, But from social media I've seen another pink neon sign, cherry blossom trees and a flowery piano corner which had all been either blocked off or taken off the wall. Would of been nice if the restaurant had just given us a little heads up as we booked in advance but didn't dampen the experience massively.

We had arrived for our dinner on time we were greeted and seated. To order took about 15-20 minutes after seated. Drinks took another 20 minutes staff were very bored and not motivated nor can they be asked. We had our food served after an hour. food was not worth at all and the ambiance was not nice at all felt like we were sitting in a garage with full of Santa’s decorations what looked like Grotto however this restaurant is for summer vibe. The starter was absolutely nasty we ordered the duck pate smelled of some kind of odour which did not relate to the plate at all and I have had duck pate before. We wanted to order few drinks after as we waited so long never came nor was it even registered to the till. Ordered sparkling water which is in house filtered sparkling water that was flat as the cap will not even close hence the flatness. Costed us 5000 local (£11.00) the beef sirloin full of fat and so not cooked correctly also very expensive. We had to pay as we ordered and staff understood but lack or English language we just paid and left. We saw lots of people just ordering deserts and they were locals maybe this place is tourist trap and they know you will not comeback so they make the most of it. Our bill was £67.00 which is a lot of money for 2 people specifically in Budapest for below average restaurant which was absolutely rip off. TOURISTS AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. After reading as well this place for brunch NOT DINNER also there are 2 local restaurants down the road which we went night before and significantly better priced and the food was amazing.

The experience was good. The area is well decorated and the menu although not offering a lot of options, it is well varied and should be enough for most people. The food and coffee are not bad, and in general I would describe this as a good place to go with friends for a brunch.

So me and my spouse went to this place after hearing about it from another friend and I must share that overall the experience was really average, you may wonder why so, well as for the staff and service I have no complaints the writers were really nice friendly and for budapest I must say they had a fair level of English communication skills at least enough for us to actually order and get the meals we wanted. For the actual food we'll, the prices are a bit higher than your average restaurant in Budapest but not by too much, The food was mediocre to say the least, the steak I ordered which if I recall correctly was the most expensive item on the menu was put beautifully on my plate but was done porly it came out rubbery and bland. The hamburger my spouse ordered was nothing that left her craving for more and it wasn't any different from your local hamburger place.

Nice decoration but with terrible breakfast and really rude staff. Super impolite and unpleasent tone. It seems like they did a great favor for letting us in even though we made reservations in advance. One of the male waiter refused to distribute our orders and extremely impatience. He put down our plates togerther at one side of the table, constantly spoke in Hungarian to himself. Then he left with an arrogance attitude. We, as the customer didnt even say or do anything to make him have this kind of terrible behavior. Will definetly no recommand to any of my friend !

Nice, beautiful very professional cuisine. Fantastic atmosphere end fantastic breakfast menu! Wow! It is unique place in Budapest like this one. If you appreciate your time end good quality of food you’ll love it. The prices are not very high. End every portion is large, fresh, juicy tasty …! I mean in this place you’ll receive a high quality plates in medium prices. End your breakfast will natural, without supermarket’s cheap souse and bread. They do everything by themselves. Recommended 👌

Surrounded by beauty, I've marked this place before leaving Budapest, for my last coffee in town. However, l would love to come back here and have a meal between the candlelights and rustic lamps.

Grabbed lunch here on a quiet weekday afternoon. The service was fast (as expected) and the waiter who tended very polite. The space is arguably beautiful but that’s as far as it goes, as the food leaves much to be desired other than looking pretty. Found the gulasch to be super watery and the duck liver pate rather tasteless (as if it came straight out of a can). Ultimately overpriced food for what it is.

The interior is gorgeous, the food was not bad since my risotto was not well cooked sadly… the waiters are nice but not the most welcoming. Overall if you are going for coffee and the interior and have good company it’s all good.

I really love that they keep changing the style, the design of the place, this time the valentines deco was so very lovely. The friendliness is not the highest , this time we popped in one hour before closing they served us only drinks since no kitchen at closing hours… But still half an hour before closing we were kindly asked to pay and leave… this means we just sat down , payed for the drinks and we had to leave :S kinda disappointing

  • 5/5 Stella Davis S. 1 year ago on Google
Honestly, I just went there for photos since the place looks really cute all pink. Indeed is really nice interior and since I booked a table around 14:00 there was almost empty no rush and I took all the pictures I wanted. Waiters are nice, prices are ok. And I wasn’t expecting anything amazing from the food since I read very bad comments about the food my Caesar salad was good. The vintage garden cocktail a bit too sweet. Overall is great to go in a non rush hour and order something simple.

Really enjoyed our time here. Nothing bad to say. Good food.very good prices and the aesthetic of the place is very cute and instagrammable. Its a must if you are in Budapest. We went in January and they had the christmas decor which was so nice. Really enjoyed the elderflower lemonades and the oreo blueberry cheesecake.

Overwhelmed by the sweet Christmas decorations in the restaurant. 💗 Different settings in each season. Lovely. Located in the popular ruin bar quarter. Close to everything in the central. They also offer very tasty breakfast meals.
