I loved this tour! While it is on the pricier side of the local Budapest tours, it is well worth the money. We had several glasses of Hungarian wine (5 full pours), a shot and some local traditional food (not a meal, but appetizers). The tour of the Jewish district was great. We did 1 ruin bar, which was plenty, and then focused our time on some of local wine rooms. Our group was small too, which added to the experience. Fanni was our guide and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the wines and the grow regions. I thought her selections were a fantastic representation of the diversity of Hungarian wines. She also touched on some of the history of the area while keeping the tour light and fun. Don't leave Budapest without doing this tour! It was a highlight for sure.

I had a great time on this tour. Fanni is an outstanding guide and had a lot of information to share about wine, history, and the venues; it felt less like a tour and more like just hanging out having drinks with friends. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Budapest.

I took this tour solo and Alexa was very easy to spend time with. The tour was very interesting and I definitely got a great understanding of Hungarian wine. If you’re interested in wine, culture, and going to interesting bars, I’d highly recommend this tour.

Alexa was a great and authentic host - and had real stories and real experiences from her life from friends to grandparents. Despite being young I think she is a great host and able to converse about many and varied topics. The tour was exactly what we hoped for - not a perfectly designed tourist experience but more like a real-life one. Recommended!!

I had a great time on my tour with Fanni-honestly it’s always the tour guide that can make or break a tour. She did an amazing job making us feel welcome and is actually just a very genuine person. She was 100% knowledgeable about the city and wines. She was a blast and even followed through on the promise of e-mailing us all some Hungarian recipes. If you book this tour try to get her as your guide. :)

We love Peter! Brilliant host with his knowledge of food and the history. We did this at the start of our trip to Budapest and so glad we did understanding the food culture when dining out. The time just blitzed by and it was good learning which foods to avoid (for the tourists) and the best back street restaurants to visit.

We went on this tour with the marvellous Gergo! From the start he was extremely warm and welcoming to everyone. He is a fount of information about his city, from every aspect - art to history, social and economic, every subject was covered and he was able to answer all questions from the group. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Gergo and Fanni!

Fanni was a wonderful guide. She was smiling and was passionate about this tour. She was knowledgeable about the subject, and answered any questions. We have also shared some laughs. She also gave us tips where to go to eat and drink. This experience is totally recommended.

We enjoyed our tour with Alexa! She is a great host and knowledgeable about the wine region . This tour is well worth the money. Alexa showed us 4 local pubs and 1 ruin bar. We had different kinds of Hungarian wines, a shot (not unicum) and some local traditional tapas. We were a small group and we had our after party after the tour! It is definitely a must to list before leaving Budapest! Thank you Alexa for giving us a good time!

We were only 4 on the tour (Alexa the guide, me, my husband and a nice guy from Australia) and this made the experience more personal. It was like going out with friends that like wine. I don't usually enjoy tours, but this was an awesome one. The wine was great, snacks good and quantities more than enough. I couldn't drink all the wine lol and didn't feel 3 h pass. Alexa has the gift of making you fell comfortable and she gave info on the wines, places we visited and Hungarian culture in general. We are very happy we took this tour.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful tour of Budapest with our tour guide, Gergo. The itinerary was perfect as we modified the tour to visit out of the way sites to avoid the tourist crowds as much as possible. We wanted to learn about the Hungarian/Budapest culture, history, architecture, food, beautiful scenery and historic sites - and we did! We highly recommend to others Urban Adventures and especially Gergo, our outstanding tour guide.

Our Bites & Sights tour of Budapest with Orsi was such a delight! We're glad we made sure we went hungry as we stopped at so many great spots we wouldn't have known to visit. So much delicious, hearty Hungarian food! Orsi is a brilliant guide - so friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable and really took the time to get to know everyone on the tour. Thanks for being patient with our questions and making our experience in Budapest so memorable.
