Upon
waking
into
the
hostel,
I
was
confused
by
the
high
ratings.
Like
"The
Twilight
Zone.
You
are
about
to
experience
something
no
one
has
before..."
The
hallways
were
cramped,
the
seating
area
was
a
couch
in
the
hallway
with
no
lighting
I
could
find,
the
kitchen
was
messy.
We
booked
a
double
room
and
ended
up
in
a
5
bed
dorm.
There
was
no
one
else
in
there
but
it
was
annoying.
The
staff
person
was
very,
very
nice
and
gave
us
great
advice.
I
saw
him
mopping
floors
twice,
but
it
was
just,
messy.
The
room
was
cold
the
first
night,
but
did
improve,
and
the
water
was
so
hot
you
had
to
be
careful
not
to
scald
yourself.
The
sheets,
pillows
and
pillowcases
looked
so
old
and
grungy
I
didn't
want
to
sleep
on
them.
I
just
hoped
the
duvet
cover
had
been
washed
sometime
in
the
past
month
and
did
what
I
had
to
do
to
stay
warm.
It
was
also
very
loud,
the
rooms
are
right
next
to
the
common
areas
and
you
could
hear
every
word
that
was
said,
and
every
creak
in
the
floor.
Someone
had
the
radio
on
in
the
common
room
after
11
be
and
with
the
walls
being
paper
thin
it
was
like
it
was
in
our
room.
I
finally
went
in
and
turned
it
off.
Not
deserving
of
a
rating
over
1,
it
gets
the
extra
star
only
because
of
the
particular
staff
person
we
dealt
with.
If
we
had
paid
a
quarter
of
the
price
I
would
have
expected
nothing
more,
but
for
$40
a
night,
it
was
an
amazing
rip
off.
