Have a very mixed experience. Once, I had a nice time with kind staff and descent music. Another time, all three bartenders were very rude. But they were okay again after I tipped one of them 1000 HUF on top of 200 - 300 every drink. Interior is decent, albeit quite crowded. The tables further back always smell like urine because the smell comes up from the toilet downstairs. Usually the DJs are okay, but once awhile comes a DJ who blasts his music so loud, literally no one can talk in the bar and every customer inside just get tired after screaming for an hour and end up smoking outside the whole time. The good ones actually play at okay volume, it's the tasteless ones that blast it. I guess the ability to read the room translates to DJing skill. If people wanted music that loud they would go to a club, not a bar. Some days I love this place, some days I hate it. I think this bar is this popular because 1. It's been there forever. A lot of the current customers have been going here since high school. 2. There isn't any bar with this atmosphere around the area (although you will find plenty on the Pest side).

Drink selection is fabulous, the atmosphere is amazing and the service is unreal. They really look after you. If you're looking for a hip and alternative pub this is your place. Highly recommend 👌

Do you like Beanie? do you have a business? Are you a hipster? then Nemdebár is the place for you. Nemdebár rougly translated means Beanie Bar, come on down. Dresscode; Girls, big beanies Men, small beanies +points fora stylish lil roll up genuinely good bar though, swerve the ruin bars come here first atleast.

I wrote another review from this place before. I gave 5star. Now - it wasn't a one time experience... - they have a male bartender, who is hardly acceptable. We've seen this guy in Juranyi-haz a few month ago and we had the same experience. He is not nice at all! U give extra tip or not, u try to be nice: bad face, very selfish attitude! Recently he has a very colorful hair. So if u have chance: cue up another's line! All the other girls/boys are really nice behind the bar!

Nice and cozy place, was not my first time here. But... This last time I had an unpleasant encounter with a girl behind the bar who was rather overreacting to the fact that I was recording a few sec video inside the bar to catch the atmosphere with the great background music, to send it to a friend. Was rudely asked not to do it, apparently because the guests might not like to be in it. I might not tell you a secret now with this but people do take photos, selfies and videos all the time in bars, even in yours. Hope you'll be asking each and every person from now on who takes a photo or video in your establishment, not to do it or ask permission. And even when you take one somewhere, you'll ask everybody in the background if it's okay...
