We visited the Makovecz house, which is now the Makovecz Center, out of respect for the architect's work. It's true that we didn't find it open, but we walked around the outside and saw the building, the fence, the gate and the nice little bench, perhaps a symbolic wooden cross, in front of the entrance. All true Makoveczes style. It was a visit to Makovecz's world. Information board in front of the gate. Let's pay attention to the handover date of the building in 2011 and the year of the sad death of Imre Makovecz (1935-2011). And let's enter the world of "Makovecz roads" and discover him all over the country. He dreamed for us.🙏

Nagypn szep is designed in such a real "makoveczes" beauty. I recommend to those interested to visit it in the spring, when the garden will be laid out. The presentation is very nice, interesting and engaging

I really enjoyed Makovecz's graphics and designs, and I really like the building as well. Anyone who is even slightly interested in architecture should definitely visit here.

I was always able to attend high-quality lectures: Anthony Gall on Károly Kós, Imre Csernyus on Imre Makovecz.

A great place for architecture fans. On the way you can take a walk around the surrounding area. The center's staff speak English and are happy to answer questions. Watch the opening hours carefully and ring the bell.

My thanks to all the people who made it possible for the Makovecz Center to be established and thus immortally represent Hungarian organic architecture. In this way, it conveys national values, perceptions, attitudes...and the knowledge of them, so that we can get to know them more widely.

The house of Makovecz, is a contribution to know the great architect that he was. We can see the room and the studium of him (the fornitures, the drawings, sketches...). Very interesting.

Makovecz Center and Archive, which is also suitable for holding cultural presentations. Now we could watch the performance of Ferenc Sebő and his friends, which Imre Makovecz also liked.
