The restaurant is a small jewel box on Pasaréti út, mainly visited by people from the area. On a daily changing menu, traditional Hungarian cuisine is embodied in 21st century, modern and very tasty dishes. The eternal hospitality and kindness of Gergő, Árpi and their father make the gastronomic experience unforgettable. I strongly recommend it to everyone, it's all ++++++

Moderately priced, well made, mostly traditional flavors. Not posh, pleasant atmosphere. Polite service. Lunch spot, already closed in the afternoon; this must be observed. Yes, the food comes at a terrific pace! Deduction of points for fake tiramisu and undeservingly bad coffee.

For a long time, we didn't really believe that it could be good, because we don't really believe the self-advertisements spread on Facebook. He was lucky, he also published the ever-changing selection and it was always tempting. Pasaret small red checkered? Um. . . . He's quite unknown, he wasn't featured here either. We finally made up our minds and did very well. Instead of cooking lunch, we booked a table here during our weekend gastro trips. The entrance is hard to find, as if there is a closed old establishment at the address. But the gate is open and everything is fine inside. We found a good inn with a garden in the summer. There aren't many places, so it's worth booking in advance. The room is cozy and tidy. The menu is a selection of the day written on a black board on the wall. Not a multi-page board. . . . . But the dishes on it range from simple to standard elegant. We chose two broths, a deep-fried veal leg and a beef stroganoff ragu. The food arrived quickly, the service was nice and proper, and they did an excellent job in the kitchen. (Unfortunately, they didn't manage to get the capers. . . .) For dessert we had crepes, never worse! We'll be back here. . . . although you have to calculate that the prices are not comparable to the prices of small restaurants with red checkered tablecloths.

They are very strong in fried foods. The waiters are fast and professional. A heartwarming place with broth that tastes like "grandma's cooking". Perfect for a Sunday family lunch. The furnishings are shabby, but maybe that's what gives them their charm.

Family-friendly, old-fashioned, super fine, classic checkered tablecloth. Adorable!

Small and simple place, welcoming staff. Traditional Hungarian home food. Overpriced for my taste.
