I enjoyed the sun and the air show today at Széchenyi tér. So many people were there.

A huge park in the island Margarita. We rent a fourperson bike and we enjoyed the place.

Gargious places are simply breathtaking! The Széchenyi Square (Széchenyi tér) is a public square located in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. It is named after István Széchenyi, a famous Hungarian statesman and reformer. The square is surrounded by several beautiful buildings, including the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Gresham Palace, and the Four Seasons Hotel Budapest Gresham Palace.

Currently it's partially closed but still nice to visit. If you walk around a bit there are great views of the Buda castle.

Very nice square with the Science Academy , the Four Seasons hotel/Gresham Palace and the Chain bridge. In the garden are occasionally display of sculptures which bring more life to it. The only problem is that is not so pedestrian friendly. If you want to cross the road before the bridge, either you go on the underneath passage or simply take the risk...

Very beautiful place, a lot of space, nice place for pictures and walks. It's not as antique as I thought. Compared to others European capitals, you find the monuments are relatively new

Gresham Palace which is now an over rated and priced hotel still has some beautiful external features-the peacock motifs, wrought- iron gates, but still need to visit inside to see the Miksa Róth windows and more.

Great place to chill in the park and having a great view on the Chain Bridge. However, the traffic is quite heavy in this area.

Nice square at the end of the promenade. From this square along the Pest side of the Danube River, view the famous Chain Bridge and the Buda Castle district.

Yet another quality bit of artwork and construction here that really highlights Budapest as a cultural city! There was really no way across to the bank however as it's surrounded by a very busy road. So for this unfortunately, I've had to mark it as only 4 stars today. It also could do with a bit of tlc and a clean!!

Very very nice area to walk around and check the architechture. Though, as a square, it's a little soul-less. Ain't got no benches or anything, it's just to pass through.
