Nice place away from the crowd place. Nice decoration inside the Café. Very good customer service. If you want to have lunch should go early because when I was there there’s nothing left.

Small vegan cafe. Only one soup and one main dish, but it was excellent. The servers spoke English and were very nice to us. We had only the main dish, a tomato base with potatoes, kale and red lentil cake, and found it filling.

Really cute vegan cafe offering Lunch options. You get a lot for what you pay. Always healthy and freshly prepared. The cakes are also amazing. All Desserts are vegan and so good. Absolutely love this place for Lunch and Snacks.

Nice place and inexpensive! I had their soup of the day (tomato and vegan cream), as well as their potato and paprika stew. I much preferred the paprika stew at Kozmosz Vegan Restaurant, so I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something more flavorful and punchy. The vegan sour cherry cake I had here was delicious, and I would order it again. If you’re looking for another recommendation, the cheesecake at Napfényes Cukrászat was mind-blowing, so I would suggest trying it out as well. All in all, I really liked Szelence and think it’s worth visiting!

Super cute place with extremely delicious food. The price is completely okay and if you take the menu you get a soup and a main with it. The service is excellent and friendly. There was a slight mix up with the food and they were so quick to give me the right dish. I can wholeheartedly recommend it here!

Delicious vegan food in a local area. We definitely felt like we were out of the tourist areas when we visited here. The menu was in Hungarian but the waitress was able to tell us which dishes were vegan. It seems they have 2-3 dishes of the day to choose from which are vegan or vegetarian. A great selection of cakes/pastries too which are vegan/vegetarian. Heart warming, healthy and simple food. I’d come again!

Szelence offers a daily menu consisting of a soup and a main, you need to hurry though, as shortly after 1 pm on a Saturday they run out of soup and only a few portions of mains were left. Nonetheless it was delicious. The place is kid friendly too: there is a small play-corner and a feeding chair for the little ones.
