This is a great place. Located in the heart of Pest, near the Basilica of St. Stephen. It has a great atmosphere, great music. Delicious food, very large portions.) Excellent drinks, here is the most delicious coffee in Budapest. This place has a warm atmosphere and wonderful people. If you are in Budapest, I advise you to definitely visit this pub.

This place deserves to be packed every night! We found it completely by accident walking around the St. Stephen's basilica area waiting for our hotel room to be ready, and oh boy did we get a treat. Food is tasty, drinks are great and stuff is friendly. Not only that this has to be one of the coolest looking bars I've ever been. If you are a scifi fan you are bound to appreciate all the little details around the rooms. We've been twice on a 5day trip and let me tell you no photos will do it justice, you have to see it for yourself.

One of the best pubs anywhere, not just in Budapest. Awesome theme, a mix between post apocalyptic and Sci Fi (think Fallout meets Star Wars) with everything from drinks to light switches being on brand. Great selection of drinks, original cocktails and tasty finger food (XL portions), all reasonably priced and backed by a lovely and helpful lady bartender and the owner who doubles as the cook who built the place from scratch and definitely gave the place it's unique character. It's a crime that this establishment is not listed in any of the "best guides" to the city. Make yourself a favor and visit the Grease Monkey if you are in town, I guarantee it's an experience worth having!

This place is the coolest place and such a rare find… you must come for great beer, palinka & food. The decor is fabulous as is the music… prices are very very cheap and the bathrooms (along with everything else) is a work of art!!! Ask him to show you the sliding door with all the moving gears!

So sick!! If you come to Budapest, you HAVE to come here! The inside is absolutely amazing, extremely cool one of a kind steampunk type atmosphere, comfy seats, good music, ice cold drinks. One of the coolest bars in all of Budapest. Do yourself a favor and come here.

Phenomenal atmosphere (like living in post-apocalyptic world of Fallout game series). Bar tender is very kind but needs to speed up a little. I'm big fan of this place and I hope the owner will be successful and I'll find this bar open next time I'll come to Budapest!

Extraordinary location made with love to details. Staff is really friendly and easy-going. Even let us stay inside after their official closing hours. The structure with different rooms make it a great venue for casual group meetings like the weekly Couchsurfing gathering.

Amazing place with a steam punk atmosphere. Waiters always friendly and smiling. Beers are great, the spirits non the less and the food... You'll lick all five of your fingers afterwards. Highly recommended to go there! Either for just a drink or for the whole eating out comfort food package!

I agree with a previous review, this place should be busy every night! Super kind staff who made sure we had our food early when the kitchen just opened so we could get to the Prosecco cruise! The food was great and the portions were massive which was fab. Amazing interior design and such a cool place to be I couldn’t stop looking around!! Please visit here you won’t regret it 🙏

My friends and I LOVED this bar. The drinks were fun, and definitely on theme. The seats were very comfortable, and the surroundings were definitely on brand for the restaurant. We spoke to one of the co-owners and he was so nice. Just an awesome place, can’t recommend enough.

I was sceptical that this place might be a little bit corny. Let me assure you all of the interior decoration work is actually really very well done. When I read "steampunk" I fear there's going to be superfluous gears and springs just glued to stuff, but I can honestly say this atmosphere is easily as science fiction as it is steampunk. The owner did all of the decoration work himself and is a nice guy, and you can get pretty good beer on the cheap. There's lots of seating so I think it's pretty good for groups, but there's also a bar for individuals to sit at. Encourage you to take in all the detail around you.

Proper hidden gem this bar is... Really comfortable seats, amazing place to meet new people, great drink selection, the decorations is out of this world ! If you are in Budapest, give this place a visit, and you won't be disappointed!! It's like no bar I've ever been to before !

Located below the ground, this establishment is best described as trying to be a space station, straight of the set of Red Dwarf. It's a nice enough place but smells a bit damp. Central location with reasonably priced drink.
