We
got
a
great
last
minute
deal
on
a
room
at
the
Walk
Inn
Vaci
78,
so
we
thought
we’d
give
it
a
shot
as
it
got
a
8.7
rating.
As
soon
as
we
got
into
our
hotel
room,
we
noticed
that
there
was
wet
snot
sprayed
on
the
bedding.
I
called
the
hotel
concierge
however,
he
had
just
left
as
his
shift
ended
at
the
hotel
and
was
only
helping
out
remotely.
I
told
him
about
the
situation
and
he
just
told
me
where
to
find
fresh
sheets.
I
was
instructed
to
change
them
on
my
own
if
I
wanted
a
fresh
set
as
he
wasn’t
coming
back
(he
had
left
only
10
minutes
prior).
He
was
apologetic
however,
nothing
else
was
done
about
this
and
I
had
to
go
change
the
sheets
myself.
The
hotel
felt
empty
and
was
quiet
overnight
on
the
first
night,
however,
as
soon
as
the
hotel
staff
and
construction
workers
working
next
door
started
working
(around
9am)
the
noise
penetrated
through
the
door
and
into
the
room
at
a
level
that
makes
you
sit
up
in
bed
wondering
if
they
are
in
the
room
with
you.
We
normally
wake
up
well
before
this
time
but
we
came
to
relax
and
didn’t
realize
we
had
booked
a
room
in
an
apartment
rather
than
a
hotel.
We
waited
one
more
night
to
see
if
this
was
just
a
coincidence.
Unfortunately
it
was
not
so
we
spoke
with
the
receptionist
the
second
morning
to
see
if
we
could
change
rooms.
She
did
offer
for
us
to
look
at
all
the
other
options
available
within
our
room
size,
which
were
the
majority
of
the
rooms
in
the
hotel.
We
realized
that
we
had
the
best
set
up
already
so
this
didn’t
help
(there
were
some
larger
suits,
but
we
were
not
offered
these).
She
just
apologized
and
said
that
she
would
tell
workers
to
be
quieter,
to
which
we
explained
that
we
could
tell
everyone
was
being
respectful
and
using
a
normal
to
quiet
“indoor”
voice
already
and
that
this
wouldn’t
help
the
problem.
I
then
told
her
about
what
had
happened
with
the
bed
sheets
on
the
first
night
and
how
it
was
dealt
with
and
how
this
“fend
for
yourself”
theme
seems
to
be
reoccurring
here.
She
responded
with
an
apology
and
said
if
she
was
on
shift,
she
would
have
came
back
to
change
the
sheets
herself.
However,
she
then
did
nothing
to
try
to
make
it
better.
We
didn’t
even
get
offered
a
complimentary
breakfast
as
a
“sorry
for
the
inconvenience”.
A
lot
of
talk
and
no
action.
I
must
say
that
on
the
third
night
it
got
even
worse
as
the
hotel
filled
up
with
guests,
including
children.
It
really
felt
like
we
could
hear
every
resident’s
journey
from
wake
up
to
out
the
door.
Also,
after
the
receptionist
on
the
second
day
said
she
would
tell
workers
to
be
quieter
in
the
front
foyer,
we
went
out
front
to
see
what
all
the
commotion
was
about
and
she
was
the
one
casually
speaking
with
a
guest
at
full
volume.
All
in
all,
the
hotel
is
clean
enough,
quiet
overnight,
great
location
and
has
everything
you
need.
Unfortunately
staff
don’t
deal
with
grievances
very
well
and
only
know
the
word
sorry,
you
are
living
as
one
collective
from
8:30-6pm
as
if
in
an
apartment,
bathrooms
are
pretty
small
(sink
specifically)
and
the
non-suite
regular
size
rooms
are
on
the
smaller
side.
We
highly
do
not
recommend
staying
here
if
you
want
to
relax
and
sleep
in
a
bit.
