Our room was on the ground floor, opposite to the entrance and next to a very noisy wooden staircase. We could hear everything: when guests arrived, spoke in the hall, went up to their rooms etc. It was very disturbing. I spoke to our host, who reacted very rude as he told me that, what should he do with it and I could leave if I'm not satisfied. Of course I could have left the accomodation. He gets his money anyway. In the room spiders were very busy building cobwebs in the corners. The cleaning staff could not keep up with them. Dust, a broken handhold in the shower and a fusty smell was also part of the welcoming party. Check out our pictures.

This is a really nice place. You fell home and welcome. The hosts are very friendly and accommodate individual needs. This is not the last time I am here 😊

The place is spectacular, it is no coincidence that the name fits the place perfectly. It is a beautiful panoramic view and Luigi is a great person which makes the place even more beautiful. We felt treated like children and spending the nights with the view of the illuminated parliament is priceless. a wonderful and unforgettable experience

They cancelled my reservation when I was at the airport just about to catch my plane to Budapest. They knew I was going to arrive at midnight and I didn't have anywhere else to go. I had to book a last minute hotel for 6 times the average price. This lack of professionalism is absolutely unacceptable. They didn't even apologize for all the serious inconvenience caused. Just hope nobody else books this place again. They deserve to have their business closed.

Excellent place to stay. Very pleased to have found this. Will book again for a longer stay next year. Host is accomodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Room was beautiful and huge. More like a suite in a hotel than a regular B&B. Finally the location is incredible, literally a few steps up away from Buda Castle. A short walk downhill to the Danube River which is beautiful lit up at night.

Small cozy clean rooms with a comfortable big bed. Very good breakfasts. There is everything for comfortable stay for a couple nights. Very very nice and helpful hosts, you can spend the whole day talking about Budapest and Hungary and learn a lot from them. Very good location, quite close to the bus stop and subway. Very close to Fisherman's Bastion, which is extremely beautiful especially at night. Definitely worth your money. Best place to stay in Budapest, definitely.

The location of Bellevue couldn't be better, just next to the Fisherman's Bastion on a very quiet street on top of the hill. Rooms are old but functional and the A/C is good during summer. Breakfast is simple but works good. There are plenty of good breakfast cafes just around the corner though, and Lajos and his staff will surely point you in the right direction. 10/10

The owners are very nice and welcoming and can't do enough for you. And the other guy who works there, while very polite and helpful (he is even happy to WhatsApp you with recommendations and advice out of hours) I found frustrating because he wanted to take relentlessly about football and Liverpool FC. Not everyone wants to hear that and it got a bit annoying. Otherwise, the only frustration was the room. The TV didn't work which was annoying because we were over for the world athletics championships and wanted to catch some of it, and it would have been helpful for the kids too in the evenings. And the WiFi didn't work very well up in the top room. The air conditioning is very good though. Breakfast is very nice and the hosts were very friendly with our children which was great. We had a nice stay, but it could have been better. Thank you.

Would highly recommend this Bed and breakfast stay for Budapest budget stay which is very close to fishermans bastion and has a view of Danube river and parliament. The host is very warm and helpful and accomodative and special thanks to Balint who manages this place. And helped us with all our queries to make this trip comforrable. It's a 5 mins walk to the metro station and they serve a good breakfast.
