Grumpy is a nice, welcoming, cozy cafe that serves all-day breakfast, but also has a pretty big menu of other foods, too! The home-made bread was very good, as we're the Mangalica sausages. I'll definitely go back and try more of their menu soon.

We visited this place in the weekends. The staff are very nice, kind and friendly. We had some good moments. We ordered pancakes and croissant and café latte and all of them were really good. They have a small outdoor space just two tables and lots of indoor space in the first floor and the second floor. Also, they have a free laptop zone and you can use your laptop in a good space. they decorated the food very well and served nicely.

This could be the most amazing brunch place in all of Budapest. The food was delicious, the pastry fresh and amazing, and the staff treated us like we were family. After reading such great reviews we decided to try Grumpy food bar. The service was very friendly. The flat whites were very good. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, the staff kept us informed, a side dish didn't arrive which they prepared for us and deducted from our bill. The staff really are fantastic. The food to be honest was fine but nothing special, we had a buda bowl and Avocado toast with an extra egg.

Very sweet people welcomed me and seated me. The place has a great vibe. The cook, she is very friendly and she cooked tasty breakfast. They are generous for bacon and the server offered me a bread. I ate a good breakfast there. I wish they offered fresh squeezed juice and not in the bottle or maybe I didn't see that in the menu. I liked this place, it was lovely here. Unfortunately, some of the dishes like pastas and soups were missing :( All food was pretty delicious, prices are pretty fine, only Chicken Wrap wasn’t wrapped properly - it was really hard to eat without losing your food on the way to the mouth.

We we were here for breakfast during our visit to Budapest in a group of four. I had a good impression of the food bar and coffee shop. 1- the bacon and eggs plate was delicious. 2- the coffee was of good quality. 3- we tried also the tabouleh. It had a mediocre taste and did not meet our expectation. 4- the chef seems both cooking, serving plates and cleaning with the help of another employer. Our plates were served shortly, however i am not sure how will this system can work in a fully packed place at lunch. 5- some final thoughts that you can feel the food is prepared by somebody who love cooking and put iniy a piece of herself. The place have big potential and i see it growing farther with just few logistic arrangement between kitchen and service to diners. 6- will surely come back here next visit to Budapest.
