Visited Uncensored the entire family of 7. Truly an amazing experience. The food and audio visuals play so well together. Service is attentive, polite and excellent. Almost all of the 7 dishes we were served were Michelin-standard, and I think it deserves attention from the guide. A must visit place when going to Budapest.

Honestly, dinner was good, wine was excellent but the multimedia experiences… I was not sure if it means to be trash or serious. Either you do cool, innovative art or you do pure trash. But what I was looking to was not innovative at all and something in between. So great idea but no good excecution at all from my point of you.

We were expecting more from this kind of price range restaurant. The food was nice, with some nice discovery, especially for Hungarian, Russian and Brazilian dishes. Food was well dressed in the plate. The pairing with the beverages was good. I was nicely surprised by the cocktails recipe. The problem was about quantities. Dishes were very small and even with 7 dishes we had to ask for bread and butter not to be hungry (I tried different restaurant from Michelin guide and each time I was not hungry anymore after the 4th or 5th dish). We were expecting more also from the animation. We really liked the one for Russia and China, but the other ones were missing something. We found that the quality of the video was not so good (for Hungary for example) and some animation was quiet amateur (like how the astronaut was moving on the moon). We would have preferred a video of the country or some landscape to feel like we were in the country (Spain animation was disappointing). The songs were playing on a loop, it could have been better to have some different songs per countries. Regarding the service it was good. The waitress was really kind and we felt well welcomed. The entrance of the restaurant was unique, we really liked it. To sum up it is a nice and original restaurant where you can try uncommon food. The concept is really interesting but can be improved in terms of animation. However prices are not justified. We payed 215€ per person (all included). I would say that it worth half of this price. I had some better experiences for 100€ in Budapest.

Our dining experience for a group of about 20 was immaculate. Upon entering the private dining room, guests are greeted with a 360 degree media experience. Each course was plated beautifully, with flavors and textures filled with the same creativity as the digital adventures that take place on screen. The servers took careful attention to allergies in our group, and each course of both drinks and food had a thorough explanation in English, helping to enhance the flavors involved. The dining experience took quite a long time as we weren’t rushed despite finishing dessert after closing. This being said, be prepared for a lengthy experience. We were a very large party yet food came out all at once. There were some mix ups with the checks (one per table of four) but everything else went smoothly. Overall I was very impressed by this one of a kind experience.

Everything there was just amazing, the promise of a multi-sensorial experience has been largely kept : the visuals and sounds were really immersive and impressive, the quality of what we ate and drink was incredible, and the service by Matyas was just perfect. It looked lovely, but did not taste great. As a matter of fact, I was so hungry I just forced myself to eat several of the items (which are tiny and just for tasting purposes) The dinner with wine cost $500, I would expect better tasting food. As the price on the website is not including the 27% vat and the 15% service charge. But it worth every penny! The dinner lasts from 19:30-22:00. And to find it you have to go in to Caviar and Bull first. ;) the rest is secret…

Unbelievably unique experience. Loved it. The speakeasy style hidden entrance started off a captivating evening. You must visit to know what i mean. Often you read a menu and cannot decide which cuisine you are in the mood for. Not here! The different cuisines of the world come to you through an array of courses from around the globe. The dishes and presentation are extremely imaginative and delicious. Couple that with amazing drinks pairings and an audiovisual assault that makes you feel like your actually in the country in question. A truly unreal 4D experience.

Honestly, very disappointing. Having read all the great reviews about this place, we were very excited to try out the dining experience. The concept is great, the facility is nice. However, the food is very bland. I was expecting a lot more in terms of flavor richness and combinations. The service was ok, not great. They forgot to give out my cutlery before the food was served. The table menu was outdated, and we found a used napkin under our table. Bottom line, probably the most overpriced food I’ve ever had. It costs 95 Euros for 7 courses which is a lot compared to other, way better, fine dining restaurants in Budapest.

Not that impressive considering what you pay for it, which leads me into what made me even write this review in the first place, the value proposition. I realize that for some people paying 100 Euros for a meal is not a big deal, but for me that’s quite a hefty bill, hence when eating out at this price range I do a lot of research before committing. Which is exactly what I did this time as well. The reviews for Uncensored is unfortunately misleading. The food is definitely not on par with what it should be at this price range. The flavors are bland, some ingredients are over or undercooked and the combinations are just not that exciting. The service was also questionable. There weren’t any glaring issues with it, but it felt sloppy and uninspired. All in all if you’re fine with overpaying mediocre food by a mile and want to try what could have been a really cool concept, go ahead. But in my opinion it’s just a huge waste of money. Not recommended.
