After arriving at a serviced apartment, we as a family need to find halal food for our late lunch. With many options available in Google Map, we decided to go to Roadside Burger. It turned out that it was one of the best decisions we made during our trip in Europe this year. Their burgers are so delicious and their potato chips are so crispy… The owner is also very kind, giving us local expertise on how to explore Budapest for a short period of time.

The food experience at Roadside was really wonderful. Very tasty and well prepared burgers. The fries were hot and crispy. I love the service at the place and the guy there named Waleed is so hospitable and gentle with the guests. I highly recommend this place.

I have no clue why this place has a 4.7 star rating. I ordered the Roadside Burger and the service was slow, the chicken was horribly overcooked and smelled bad, and the bun fell apart almost immediately - very difficult to eat. Additionally, the cook had very long, gross fingernails and I don't trust the cleanliness of this place. I would never recommend that someone get a burger here - the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because the fries are surprisingly good. Edit: forgot to mention that the fridge for drinks was unplugged, causing all of the drinks to be warm and unple.

I came here specifically for the makloub and baguette farcie after the renovation of the restaurant , and i was not disappointed. Everything was just perfect. The ingredients are very fresh , the stuff are very nice . And if you like tunisian street food you should definitely come here .

We were expecting having to settle for cheaper quality since we were looking for halal food in Budapest, but this place was a pleasant surprise with premium quality juicy burgers to offer. I recently dined at this charming Tunisian restaurant, and I must say, the pizza and baguette farcie were absolutely delicious! The pizza had the perfect balance of flavors, and the crust was crispy yet tender. As for the baguette farcie, it was a mouthwatering fusion of Tunisian and French cuisines. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly. I'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings. And Amr the Egyptian chef was quite nice and helpful and cooked the food quite fast with every detailed requests.

The restaurant really looks good and the food is great ! They have some special tunisian spicy sauces that you have to try, and personality I wanted to try Makloub and Baguette Farcie ( which I don't think you can find them any where else in Budapest ) and they taste so good ! I highly recommended

Why this place has so many 5 stars? Because the food is good, the staff is polite, and the place offer halal meat. So, me and my wife had a negative experience here. We asked for her a Wrap (gyros like) without spicy (they explicitly asked us if we wanted spicy). They added spicy anyway. It was not crowded (the only customers were me and my wife, and there were 3 people working behind the desk). When we kindly told them about their mistake, they opened the wrap and added yogurt sauce, telling us that this was the maximum they could do, and apologizing. The food was still spicy, and now the Wrap was really easy to break in pieces (because you shouldn't open them and close them again, it becomes a mess). I have never seen a single restaurant doing something like this. It is useless to apologize with words, when your actions do not reflect what you are saying. The staff should have redone the Wrap, and that's it. They were probably too busy watching television and phone (this is what they did while preparing our meal) Disappointed. We found other places with halal meat or vegetarian options (you can easily find other options here in google maps or tripadvisor) if that is what you are searching for
