Bad infrastructure, bad conditions. The attitude of the assistances is also bad, especially if you are not a hungarian

This place is indescribable and surreal, you have to be there to see it. It still functions partly as a "hospital" and partly as an asylum - one of the country's worst-known hospitals, where wards are now being closed one after another due to a lack of staff. A dirty, dilapidated, impenetrable labyrinth, where only the cleaning workers and construction workers are shoveling undisturbed, as continuous renovation is taking place, although this is not visible from the conditions. After it was renamed Centrumkórház, what remains is what it was for decades: a leper colony, where even rats are not a rare guest in some departments. Neurology, which is now closed, was amazing: broken tiles, dirty bathroom, shared toilet, rude staff, condescending, arrogant doctors. The nurses threw the patient's dirty, contaminated belongings behind the headboard of the bed for the relative to take home. This hospital is the district of the elite district providing African-level care, which is a joke in itself. The head doctor wished "good health" to the person diagnosed with an incurable disease in the emergency room. :(( I hope that there will be someone who will wish him similar good things at his former headquarters, when he is old and sick. The person who communicates with the patient in this way should be fired immediately upon the hearing of the relatives and banned from his profession forever. But this is not what is happening. He will receive an award a creature overflowing with empathy. Shame. Of course, there are exceptions: in outpatient surgery and oral surgery, despite the bad conditions, I received excellent care, with a humane attitude, but unfortunately, in this institution, the exception only strengthens the rule, because 99.9% of the time it is not this is the characteristic.

(Translated by Google) I will never forget that my hearing was saved here. Otolaryngology is by far the best I have ever encountered. Before I got here, I also went to 3 completely different doctors, none of them had faint purple steam, so why don’t I hear it overnight. They referred me here, Doc looked at him and knew right away how he would heal him. They never go to anyone but him. (Thank you, Doctor Liktor!) Anyway, the hospital may be a bit sociable, but very clean, freshly painted, the Docs / nurses are cute, helpful, there was toilet paper, soap, disinfectant, and there was everything I needed (I’m still talking a lot before COVID). I think the garden is especially beautiful - it could be bigger, but big rhododendron bushes as beautiful as the one there, I haven't seen in my life! It seems to be maintained. Unfortunately, there are parts that are about to be renovated, but these buildings are largely unused and what they are is constantly being improved, everything is being renovated pretty slowly. (Original) Sosem fogom elfelejteni azt, hogy itt mentették meg a hallasom. A fül orr gégészet messze a legjobb, amivel valaha találkoztam.

US embassy told us to go here at night during an emergency. Drove around the complex multiple times and could not find the entrance. Ended up going to a nearby community hospital where the care was spectacular and free. Avoid

My 18 year old boy had an accident on his bike this morning and got himself to this hospital. They put steri-strips on him, but said he needed an xray and then wouldn't help him unless he paid, despite him having proof of a uk medical card. They got very unfriendly, told him the UK wasn't part of Europe (despite there still being a healthcare agreement in place) and then just ignored him and said 'bye'. He spent an hour trying to find out if he needed more attention, trying to prove he was entitled, before being rudely told to leave. Hes away for the first time alone, and 18 for Christ's sake, and left the hospital scared and upset not knowing what to do next. Very grateful they put steri-strips on him, but I'm really shocked they were so unkind

I’m ashamed to have been born in Hungary. As a Registered Nurse I was appalled at what I witnessed at the trauma ward. The care was terrible staff still take money from visitors. You have to supply everything. The food is terrible. I was sworn by staff when I asked questions.

AVOID THIS HOSPITAL! A shabby hospital, with pretty new beds and some new eqiopment - ths is the only positive aspect of this hospital. I was emergency delivered there last week. They put me up in a room where a knowingly Covid patient was lying, who didn't wear any mask. The medical staff was at my entry informed that I belong as lymphoma patient to the highest risk category for Covid and still they put me up with this coughing, infectious covid patient. Only the next morning I was informed about this situation. They have put me in an unnecessary high risk situation and don't take any responsibility for it. There are much better hospitals in Budapest, please avoid this one. Prof. Dr. Paul Roeders

(Translated by Google) Outrageous, bloodthirsty that goes there! What doctors and nurses can't do about their condition, but their pökhend, arrogant, careless attitude is their sin. If they become old and sick, I wish them exactly the same care they provide here! "Enjoy" for a long time!

Belgyogyaszat II I should like to express my grateful gratitude to Dr Laczi looking after our 101 year old mother. Under very difficult conditions and circumstances (covid) he remained always calm, compassionate, caring and professional. He found time to comfort the relatives while making sure our mother got the best attention and care. His bedside manners are exemplary; While being under constant pressure and within severe constraints, he carried on with a warm heart and attention to detail.Thank you Dr Lacczi - we shall never forget your care and compassion towards our mother.

Got a recommendation to go for an emergency. Went there and almost got admitted into icu with random iv infusions for 2 days. No one even bothered to do a blood test or a scan or even check my temperature. I don’t have taj and Hungarian insurance, so the doctor was very disappointed when she heard i wont be paying cash and will need a diagnosis before my insurance will pay. Complete rip off.

In the last 2 years, I have had 2 relatives here, one was misdiagnosed at pediatric surgery, the other got an infection, so he can't walk and was forced into a wheelchair. The buildings are depressing and in need of renovation, the care is substandard, the children wait half a day in the lobby of the emergency department in terrible pain. Far to avoid!

I spent 5 hours in this wonderful place (in a ward so that not a single person is called in) since the doctor refused to appear (traumatology), there is nothing signposted in the area of the hospital and they will send me around from some parts of the hospital and tell me that I have to walk to the other end of the hospital (with a broken leg). The urgency is not so urgent in this wonderful place, keep this in mind for those who are going here.

After arriving by ambulance, it took less than 2 hours to have my broken finger x-rayed, plastered, have a CT scan, wounds dressed and tetanus shot. The staff were very caring and professional, their grasp of English helped a lot. Much faster than most EDs in Australia.

Despite all the rumours and bad reputation Hungarian Hospitals get, we had a great experience at the newborn services. The staff there were friendly and approachable, considering the poor circumstances, their attitude and helpfulness overshadowed the lack of Government support our Healthcare professionals receive.

The director of this hospital should have been fired already. I have made several complaints already about how negligent they are by not putting out any proper signs for directions (except for the buffet, of course, that generates revenue). Lives could be lost because of the time spent on finding the right buildings in this huge hospital area. Even in these buildings the patient reception works totally different. There are typical post-communist style papers with unnecessary information hanged everywhere, but the important things not. They might think that as they know these, should be a common sense for everyone. E.g. there is no sign anywhere for where the Children Emergency building is. Even gatekeepers of the hospital shared their bad feelings about this, telling the story that the director is rather having parties with drinks than to put back any sign since the wind wrenched it. Unbelievable and absolutely not acceptable in the 21st century, even the low funded healthcare could not be an excuse. By the way, I offered that me and my colleagues ourselves as charity would bring and place out signs offered for the hospital free of charge, but instead as a counter offer an unknown foundation's account was given to us where we were rather expected to pay money to. I just cannot express how crappy I feel about the whole situation.

I and my husband came from Ukraine as tourists, and we had an emergency, after wearing contact lenses the whole day, my right eye was scratched a lot, I couldn't open it and sleep at all because of severe pain, and I was so lucky to get to this hospital and meet an amazing eye specialist, Dr. Kocsis Imola, she was so careful with me and I want to say many many many thanks for your work, you are awesome!!

In this horrible healthcare system wich is in Hungary nowadays, I think that we have to say many thanks for that young doctors who work 300 hours in a month (!) and want to help people. If I had to work 300 hours in a month I really wouldn't feel like smiling, would you? Cardiology is the best!!!
