On my visit to the beautiful city of Budapest, I came across this lovely structure of engineering. It was surprising to see the wheel from much farther distance, and more than that was the privelage to see it from near. I couldn't get a ride but surely it would have been great.

The view is not that breathtaking. Price is rather high (discounts for babies under 2 years old). But it was a nice ride, especially in the evening, when there are a lot of lights in the city. We enjoyed it.

Very nice ride. The staff speak English. We paid 3000 fts each. We were only 2 people & we took a cabin for ourselves. It gives u 3 rounds giving u time to take pictures when u have the highest view. The view from up there is breathtaking. Worth the visit.

View from up top is beautiful! Ride lasts for 3 to 4 turns, it goes slow enough that you can also take some pictures of the view! We took the ride during sunny day, so we were able to have a really good look at the city. Ride costs about 10euros, and in my opinion it's worth it!

Ride usually lasts for 3 to 5 turns. Wheel goes slow enough that you can take photos of panoramic view! We took the ride during partially sunny day, so we were able to have a quite a nice panorama of the city. Kids enjoyed, since the view from the top position is fantastic. Even though it was windy, we enjoyed the ride!

The city view is very beautiful, and you have a chance to take really good photos. View is awesome during the day when you can clearly see everything, but also at the evening when the lights are on. But in my opinion the ride is too short and the wheel spins too fast, so the price should be a bit lower. Anyways if you enjoy this kind of activity, it's definitely worth the visit.

Unlike all of the wheels I've seen this one spins pretty darn fast! But you get full three rounds, and the city view is very nice. Get there at sunny evening you won't get disappointed. I guess..

One of our last nights in Europe. We walked from our ship. There were so many people out and about. When we got to the Ferris Wheel we found the large fountain and many people dancing around it, families, couples... such a fun environment. The line was not long for the Ferris Wheel and what a view! It was a beautiful night. The ferris wheel was very smooth and we felt completely safe and could just enjoy our surroundings.

Second time riding the wheel, first time at night.. it's a fun experience for sure. We paid for regular tickets (not fast track) and waited about 5-8min to board. The wheel goes around 4 full rotations and during the trip, everyone gets to fully stop at/near the top once or twice to take in the views.

It is such a great place to be and a good tourist attraction. You can go anytime, it is open till late, but especially in the evening or night. The view is stunning you can see the city in all it’s glory. I recommend you go somewhere around sunset, you can enjoy both the times. The prices are quite high for the 20 minute ride. But it is worth the ride. Lines can be sometimes quite long, but anyways it’s an amazing place to visit during your stay in Budapest. While you are on top, do carry the city map to identify major buildings. The wheel is set in a great amusement park. The windows of the pod are clear and clean so it's good for taking photos. They do have private pods, which you can book for your private ride. They serve beer and champagne in the private car. The park is also good, there are various rides and you can pay per ride.

Beautiful view. Ticket is around 9 euros (3000 fts) and you have 4 turns. The last one stays a few min. It's cool but a little short though.

Entertainment for one time and expensive. Don’t have tickets for students older than 18 years. People working there were also not too friendly (probably cold and tired) All in all, the best part of this wheel is the view at this wheel from the ground.

Better book the ticket online; the tickets are cheap and the Ferris wheel goes 4 rounds; in the last round, it will stop in top for some while so u can take pretty nice pics of the night views in Budapest. It also operates in rainy days

Nice view and quite exciting experience! About 13000 HUF for 4 people (2 adults + 2 kids 6 and 14 yo). Three or four rounds, don't remember exactly. I was pretty scared at the beginning 😄

View is decent, but nothing spectacular. And go in the daytime so you can at least see the city. Going for the night view is a waste, because except for the Parliament Building, everything's in the dark

A nice experience for what it is. Not a must but It's great if you have time to waste & want to watch the view. The line was a little long (we waited for around 15 minutes) and the ticket a little pricy. You can buy a private cabin but honestly even if you don't you'll probably get one for yourself since people don't tend to go up with strangers.

It is situated right next to the Ritz Carlton and one of the richest and most beautiful parts of the city. You can see the Basilica and the Parliament and it provides a gorgeous view of the city at night. One pod is good for 2-8 people. Can be difficult to take photos since the thing moves very quickly, much quicker than most wheels. Take care of the evening ride in the summer. There are a lot of mosquitoes and other bugs flying around the lights. Reasonably priced at just €16 per person.

The Ferris Wheel of Budapest is a great way to see the city from a different perspective. The wheel is located in Erzsébet Square, in the heart of the city, and it offers stunning views of the Danube River, the Parliament Building, and other landmarks. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, and the ride is smooth and relaxing. The Ferris Wheel is open year-round, and it's a great way to spend a few hours on a sunny day or a romantic evening.

It's worth it... I don't think so... although we all know that Budapest has many more beautiful and emblematic places to observe from above. I never understood the reason why they made us wait almost 20 minutes to get on... even though it was clear that there were empty cabins... that they didn't use... they filled three or four cabins... the rest of the ferris wheel was empty and they didn't use them. I think they should check this out. Even when they promote the premium ticket where you skip the line. It's just ridiculous.

Better to see her from afar. we went up and of course the view is beautiful, but it's not worth the 10€ for 5 minutes. It would get 5 if there was a normal price for that service. Not value for money at all. You feel safe high up there though.

One of the many tourist attractions in the city, but certainly one of the few that sticks in your mind. A beautiful and huge Ferris wheel that looks out over the whole city at its highest point. It rotates slowly so that you can enjoy the view in peace. It does a total of 3 full rounds that take about five minutes. The price of the regular ticket is a bit pricey, but the student discounts are great! I recommend going up in the evening so you can see the glittering city from above!

Beautiful city view on top. Typical Ferris Wheel. Clean windows which is important to see outside from carte. Easy access by any city transport here. Even in the long queue, not waiting long time. 3 times in 10 minutes approximately. Last turn slowly goes down to see better and have time to take a photo. Worth to visit. Kind of big city attraction...

Recommend!! This giant wheel gives a great bird's eye view of Budapest... Especially during night when the whole city is lit up, the ride on this huge wheel is really remarkable.. all the major attractions on Buda side are close to this place, so you get to see iconic places through the ride...

  • 5/5 Júlia K. 3 years ago on Google
The ride lasts 8-10 minutes, eye turned four times (we were told it only spins three times) the tickets were cheap. Due to COVID-19, only small group/families are let to the cabins (thankful not to have strangers up there with us). The view is great.

I loved this. You can have a good view of the city from this & with the lights at night it's very attractive. Charges seems a little higher but worth it. Go in the night to enjoy beautiful lighting of Budapest.

Lovely ride. 3000 HUF/10 EUR per person for 4 round is worth for the bird eye view of the main tourist attraction of Budapest.

Nice view but very short ride. For approx. 10 Eur 3 quick rounds are too few. The gondel was closed and quite clean, felt safe.

  • 4/5 Awais S. 3 years ago on Google
Its just an awesome experience. You feel like above the whole city and you can watch each and every monument from top like you are on a private jet and flying low to take a look of city. The only thing i didn't like is they count students only till age of 18. I mean alot of international students are coming here from all around Europe. The price should be less for all students without the discrimination of age. Normal ticket is 3000HUF which is still less then 10 Euros.

This is the famous Budapest Ferris Wheel. You can enjoy its unique view day or night. From the top of the carousel you can see St. Stephen's Church and Fisherman Castle and.... .At night Budapest has beautiful lighting that can be seen from above.

Lots to do in the square. Fantastic views across the city from the top of the wheel. Go at formula 1 time and you'll be close to the drivers arriving at the hotels on the Friday night

We r not for that kind of entertaiment but because of the kids we tried it and were very pleased, it s not that expensive a kids had really fun and Joy from the views. Views are really amazing, no doubt. Why not 😀🙌

Nice view over the city. Maybe bit too expensive. Finally it's hard to get perfect photo due to fact you're inside closed cabin with not much "open" space

  • 5/5 Miroslav S. 2 years ago on Google
Nice ride. They gave us 5 whole spins. I would recommend going at night. I'm afraid of heights so maybe not best decision on my part but still liked it. Wait was quite short.

Nice city view. Seemingly sturdy wheel structure and operation. Little confusion around the departure procedure. The wheel speed was annoyingly fast.

  • 3/5 Paul T. 2 years ago on Google
Fist time around has many "stop and go" as they load/unload, then three times around, takes about 12 minutes. The view of the Castle is best but side view of the Parliment and St. Stephen is good too.

  • 4/5 Freddy L. 2 years ago on Google
Unlike the one in London, this has less of a line, takes you around a few times, and isn't too expensive. Great views, best seen, in my opinion, at dusk.

  • 4/5 Dana J. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful view of the city. A little scarry because it swings and it is not airtight. I didn't like it going a little fast and you don't have time to enjoy the moment. Make 3 rotations. If I compare it to the London Eye, where you sit in an airtight capsule and it goes very slowely. Of course the price doesn't compare either.

A really great occasion to see Budapest from high above. The wheel spins three time around and it takes about 5 minutes. Even if you're afraid of heights, it's worth it. The queue moves very quickly and the staff makes the whole experience feel very safe and organized.

One of the many attractions in the city of Budapest, it costs 6€ for adult ticket. It's 65m in height and gives one of the amazing views of the city. Try is during the day to clearly see the entire landscape. Although photographers do take the ride during dusk to get few really good shots of the scenery. Not a must try but definitely and enjoyable experience if you haven't tried a bigger ferris wheel anywr else...

It's city view experience in a Giant ferris wheel 🛞. It is well secured and safe. It was smooth even for the person who has fobia of rides. It is smooth and slow not like amusement park rides. You can see all major attractions from top. In first round , they wait for 1 minute at top. And then rest rounds are a bit quicker. I loved it.

It’s a bit too expensive for what you get. It’s not high enough to get a real good view of the city and you can only clearly see the basilica. It doesn’t last very long and the cashier was kinda rude.

The city view is beautiful, you have a chance to take really good photos. In my opinion the ride is too short and the wheel should stay some time on the top, just that people can enjoy better in the view. Prices are high, because you do not get nothing special for this prices. If you pay in euros that it would cost more then in HUf. Anyways if you enjoy this kind of activity, it's definitely worth the visit.

  • 4/5 Sonal 10 months ago on Google
The view from the top is beautiful. We took the ride at night and so the parliament and all the places were looking pretty from above because of the lights. The ride lasts for 3-4 rounds and they are slow so nothing to be afraid of. Just enjoy the view and beautiful city. There was no wait time even it was weekend. So there is no need to buy the tickets in advance.

  • 5/5 Przemek W. 9 months ago on Google
Strongly recommend this attraction in night time with clear skies. Is not expensive for the moments in the sky. I recommend to buy the ticket in day time with priority entrance in night time the line is long. But is worth of each fornit.

  • 5/5 Bailey S. 9 months ago on Google
Such a nice experience! Didn’t wait in line long at all. We went around 9pm. The views are lovely, and it is in a very convenient location! Many shops and restaurants around. I definitely recommend going at night - loved seeing everything lit up! You can see parliament in the distance, as well as Castle Hill, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Buda Castle, and much more! I took a few pics, but none that do it justice. Hope you get the change to go!

If you wanna enjoy the panoramic view of city then this wheel can give you those glimpses. It’s located right in the centre of city and always full of people. Prices are reasonable too. Area is beautiful and surrounded with lots of restaurants, gardens and tourist

  • 5/5 Krzysztof S. 6 months ago on Google
Nice and slightly scary when you go first round of rotation and stop on top with vawing wagon. The views are worth this. Diameter of the wheel is 65m which makes it one of the highest in Europe.

  • 5/5 Kristine W. 7 months ago on Google
Loved the music that was played while waiting in line. The attendants were very friendly and made it a really positive experience. Some of our group ( 8 of us) were a bit on the fence since they are not a big fan of heights. Everyone was so glad they decided to do it. The Ferris wheel was completely enclosed, glass was clean and you had a spectacular view. One of the better parts of our trip!

Looks great, but feels little scary, because this cabins moving too much and if you are in and it already start moving, you got upside and in this moment if someone also want inside they are stopping wheel( wherever u are) and waiting till they will go to cabins, and I'm this waiting time maybe u are on top and cabin will move lika a crazy 🤣🤣 it was horror movie for me, so I don't go there 🤣 but whoever like it and don't have a acrophobia, it looks so cool.

Loved the view from 65m above. Costs 10 euros and will last about 15mins. Enough to enjoy the view and take some pictures. Why not?!

The Ferris Wheel of Budapest offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Riding it is a must-do experience, especially at sunset or during the evening when the city lights up. It's a romantic and memorable way to appreciate Budapest's beauty from a different perspective.

Extemporee kokeilu kattojen ylle. Pari päivää jo katsellut kaupunkia kävellen ja julkisilla. Hieno elämys, kun hahmotti nähtävyyksiä yläilmoista. Ei ollut ruuhkaa lokakuun 16. Päivä. Hieno keli ja hinta 4300 HUF.

Fairly cheap and the views are amazing. It felt a bit quick but we did at least 4 or 5 turns. We stopped a couple of times during the last turn so we could take some photos while people were getting in and out. There was no queue at all.

It's also called the Budapest Eye. It's good to go there during the evening because of the lighting. There is a fashion street 100m from here which is very beautiful.

The Budapest Ferris Wheel offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. The slow rotation allows for ample time to soak in the stunning scenery, including iconic landmarks and the picturesque Danube River. A must-try for those seeking a memorable and scenic experience in Budapest.

Being located at the heart (Deak Ferenc Square) of Budapest, no one in Budapest can overlook the Giant Wheel. We had a chance to take a ride which was quite thrilling. The view from top of the wheel is magical during evening and the entire Budapest is visible like a panorama. However, after purchasing the ticket, we didn’t find anyone who could assist us and entered into the designated area by ourselves. By that time someone came to us and asked for the tickets which created some confusion. Rest of things were pretty well managed. Overall we have enjoyed it and would like to recommend everyone to visit including kids.
