Beautiful Park 1. You cannot classify this square if it is in France or in Budapest because it is very clean, very decent and the lightnings shining upon the Hungarian Parliament Buildings are magnificent. 2. If you love taking picture , definitely go to the Kossuth Lajos Square and you can even take decent pictures with your iPhone at night with decent lightnings in the park.

A magnificent place with an impressive expanse of space. The sheer space creates a spirit of profound joy and patriotism for Hungary. The statue on the left combined with the flowing water body in the front endows the square with a mix of history and modernity.

Went around 10pm and it was mostly empty and so quiet. Very peaceful atmosphere with only the sound of the tram going through. Very clean and well kept. Some security guards present doing waking patrols and visitors sitting on benches

It is the square in Budapest that I appreciated the most, both for its location very close to the Danube where you can admire various monuments of Buda but also simply for the monuments that you can find here, like the Parliament building. I visited it during the day but I think it is even more beautiful at night, especially when the parliament is all lit up

Absolutely beautiful square surrounded by magnificent Parliament buildings. The square is huge and super clean. It’s a must visit when you are in Budapest. Be prepared for the sun though. There is no cover at all. So make sure to wear a hat or apply sunscreen in a sunny day.

100% worth it. It is one, if not the most, important square in the whole Budapest. The views from here are trully amazing and with lots of history. Definately check it out.

One of the most beautiful and famous buildings in Budapest, the Parliament is here. It is in the centre of the city and on the Danube. The lights are perfect at night. There are benches on the square and you can walk around, traffic is limited. Unfortunately almost all the trees were cut down in the redesigning process so in summer there is no shadow at all.

Beautiful square with the dominant Hungarian Parliament building, gorgeous views of the Danube River, very spacious and clean. There are a lot of statues and parks surrounding the area, a tram stop as well as the metro station. There are many cafés and restaurants as this is a popular spot for tourists. Definitely a must when visiting Budapest.

If you are in Budapest you need to go there! Just take the tram number 2 to make a sightseeing tour, at each stop you can go to a nice place. The daily ticket is pretty cheep! For a journey of a few days try the 5/30 ticket...it's 5 24-h-tickets in one with a validity of 30 days.

This is not just historical place of Hungary but Europe really. You will literally have no focus point when looking at parliament. Worth visiting! If you be there before 8 pm, you will see parliament light up in action.

Stunning and recently renovated public square in front of the glorious and world famous Hungarian Parliament building. The Square is named after the Hungarian national hero, Kossuth, and at one end there is a beautiful and large monument dedicated to him and Hungary’s struggle for independence under the Habsburgs. The square is easily accessible from the Metro, stop of the same name located just to the left of the parliament building, where you can get the M2. Semi-recently the public square was re-landscaped and renovated, and is now a very pleasant place to wander around. Great to walk admiring the architecture of the world famous Parliament building numerous historic monuments, wonderful surrounding architecture and plenty of photographic opportunities, as well as access to the Parliament visitor centre and even pretty views across the Danube to the old town of Buda and the castle. It is an absolute must visit when in Budapest!

This place is truly special. Kossuth Lajos Square is a large public square in Budapest, Hungary, located in the Pest side of the city, on the bank of the Danube River. The square is named after Lajos Kossuth, a 19th-century Hungarian politician and statesman who played a key role in the country's struggle for independence. The square is surrounded by several important landmarks, including the Hungarian Parliament Building, the Museum of Ethnography, and the Ministry of Agriculture.

(Translated by Google) The square is named after Lajos Kossuth, a famous statesman and revolutionary who was the prime minister and ruler-president of Hungary during the Hungarian Revolution (1848-1849). Since 2012, the square has become an important memorial site for the entire country. The square also has a Parliament, Ethnographic Museum and the Ministry of Education. In addition, there were installed sculptures of Lajos himself, Count Andrassy, as well as a building in which the memory of the victims of 56 was honored.

(Translated by Google) It was a bit depressing to see the building of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ethnographic Museum closed due to the move. But in the beautiful winter sunny clear weather, the panorama of the Danube and Buda is also wonderful from here! (Original) Kicsit lehangoló volt látni a Mezőgazdasági Minisztérium és a Néprajzi Múzeum költözés miatt bezárt épületét. De a szép téli napfényes tiszta időben innen is csodálatos a panoráma a Dunára, Budára!
