We had a great experience touring Budapest by bicycle with our guide, Attila. The bikes were comfortable and Attila made sure they fit us well. We got to see the major sites and cycle along the Danube enjoying beautiful views of Pest from the other side of the river. Attila was very knowledgeable and helped us to understand the history and culture of this unforgettable city. I highly recommend this tour!

This was such a great way to see Budapest and to get an insight into its history. Kristina was a great tour guide showing us all the landmark sites in the city, but also many other areas we would never have known to visit ourselves and sharing the stories behind them. The lunch at a small local restaurant was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I highly recommend this excellent tour. My guide Bernadette, was a delight. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a gentle, safe ride, on the flat and a chance to see parts of Budapest you might miss otherwise, but shouldn't miss

A great tour! The bikeride made it possible to see so many interesting places in Budapest. I also loved lunch! The restaurant was so much better than what's available in the touristy areas. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information about the history.

We had a awesome bike tour. The bikes were excellent! We learned a lot about Hungary, and every question we had was answered. It is also just a great way to see the city and go to places you would not ordinarily see. On top of that Greg is just a very nice guy and we had a great time! Highly recommended!

Had a great tour with Lori who gave detailed history of Budapest in English along with stories and information about the many attractive buildings. Tasty lunch too with goulash and bread. Would recommend this company.

We had a fantastic experience on our bike tour in Budapest. Our guide (Kathy) was absolutely delightful and generous with her knowledge and conversation. During the tour (approx 15klm of easy flat riding), we stopped at numerous locations and heard some really interesting stories. I'd do this tour again without hesitation.

What a perfect way to experience Budapest. Our tour guide, Brigitte, was very knowledgeable and was able to explain the complicated history of the city in a very clear way. She shared interesting insights into the monuments and cruised at a perfect pace for the group. Brigitte answered any questions we had and gave great dinner recommendations (as an aside). I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see and hear all about this beautiful city.

We thoroughly enjoyed the highlights tour on our first day in Budapest, it was the best way to get an overall view of the city and see the sights. Our tour guide Feri was brilliant, obviously passionate about his city's sights and history, even taking us to his favourite Chimney cake stand which was delishious. Highly recommended, it would have taken us days to cover this distance on foot!

  • 5/5 Hilla R. 7 months ago on Google
What a great way to explore the highlights of Budapest! Feri was fantastic and led us safely through unfamiliar streets. Could have stopped at a few more spots along the way, but this way we now know where they are. The three of us learnt so much. Well done, fantastic experience!

I also had a bit of time to walk around a few sights/ have a coffee. Very relaxed and enjoyable experience overall. Thank you Bike Breeze!

We had a very enjoyable, and informative tour of Budapest. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took time to explain in detail the historical and cultural significance of all the sights we saw. Such a great way to tour Budapest in a safe way and see, hear and smell so many of the sights. You don't have to be a pro cyclist to participate and I highly recommend this tour.

My favorite thing to do when I visit Budapest. The journey is beautiful, the destination is even better. The guides are fun, knowledgeable and speak great English. Get out of the city and see the beautiful country. You’ll love it.

I went on the Wheels & Meals bike tour. It was nothing short of incredible. The guide was knowledgeable and efficient. We were able to see so much of the city and gain a basic understanding of a culturally rich history. We stopped for goulash soup near one of the thermal baths, which provided a great way to interact with other travelers. I especially enjoyed the trip to Margaret Island. I'm an experienced cyclist, but it seems like the other members of the bike tour who didn't ride regularly were able to keep up. Other than the wonderful views, my favorite part of the tour was the guide. He provided extra details for me knowing I was American, like pointing out the American Embassy and a statue of George Washington in one of the parks. He was also very attractive, which didn't hurt! Thank you for showing our group this fantastic city.

The meals and wheels tour was amazing! Our guide Jombor was so helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. The ride wasn’t too hard and the local goulash was delightful!

Our group of eight participants from all over the world gathered there to visit the most beautiful places by bike, have fun, and enjoy the Budapest vibes. It was an entertaining way of exploring a new city! Thank you, Anna!

We had a delightful time on our bike tour! The meet location was very easy to find, and our guide on time. He did an excellent job of showing us the city and providing a compelling review of Hungarian history. It was supposed to be a group tour, but only we booked for that time. Rather than cancelling the tour, the company went ahead and provided us with a private tour. I am so very grateful for that excellent service. The tour is on the Pest side (no hills), and covered an extensive area of the city. The bikes were of a really nice quality (much better than I had expected) making it that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get a feel for the city and Hungary.

We had an awesome time on our bike tour with Eve. She was knowledgeable and fun. Very patient with all our needs or stops for ice-cream! Really made out time in Budapest that little more special being able to get around to all the important sites and places. Well worth the money for our family of five- youngest being eight loved the tour and rode close to Eve the whole time. A must for first timers in this wonderful city!

I took a bike tour with Bike Breeze this afternoon. My guide, Bridget, was amazing. She is very knowledgeable about all of the sights of Budapest, and was very safety conscious and attentive. I have never seen so much of a city in such an effective way. I would highly recommend this tour for all out of towners that are comfortable on a bike in a city. The perspective you get from this tour is unique to any other tours I have taken around the world. Bridget was excellent at articulating the extremely complex history of Hungary and Budapest.

I had a wonderful tour! I was apparently the only one who signed up and whereas other bike tour companies would usually cancel it, they didn’t and the guide gave just as much effort as he would for a group and made it completely not awkward that it was just the two of us. He was equal parts knowledgeable and laid back. It was such an efficient way to see the sights cause the city is pretty big and despite it being 5 hours it passed by super fast. I’d recommend this company and their tours to anyone.

The Bike tour was excellent. Very nice equipment, a good pace, and fun and engaging participants. The lunch stop was also terrific; great goulash soup and crusty bread….just right. It was so much fun that after biking, the group went out together on our own for drinks! Lovely time - I highly recommend Bike Breeze.

Great tour of Budapest! Our tour guide was Lara and she was very informative in telling us the history of this great city and where to check out. Would absolutely recommend this tour for people wanting to get the bearings in Budapest and where to check out during your stay!

We booked the bike and boat tour to Szentendre but it was too early in the season for the boat part. Ákos helpfully arranged to go by train instead. Then on the day he was a really lovely and thoughtful guide. We started in the snow (light) and finished in chilly but lovely sunshine. The whole day was thoroughly enjoyable. Lovely town, good langos and a local beer! Thank you very much Ákos

We absolutely LOVED this bike tour! Our guide was informative, looked out for us throughout the tour, and made it perfect with a great stop for some authentic goulash! It was a full day that really allowed us to perfect the rest of our stay in Budapest.

I had such a great ride with such a great guide!! Ákos helped put together a ride that I could never have done without a him and we saw some beautiful sights, including a few fun surprises. Our time on the bikes is one of my favorite memories from Budapest!

Excellent guided tour for my whole family! We were able to see the city in a few hours, while learning history and enjoying all of the sights. The bonus was the lovely restaurant we visited for the BEST goulash I tasted on our trip. Highly recommend!

We had high expectations of the tour due to the good reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed in the end. Our guide reproduced facts about Budapest's history relatively dispassionately, but this beautiful city has so much to offer! The stops were chosen very arbitrarily and not always in a comprehensible manner and at Heldenplatz there was, in our opinion, a break that was far too long just for photos, while at other stops there was no time for photos at all. Due to the size (approx. 12 people), the group was spread out very widely while cycling, but instead of paying attention to all group members or waiting, our guide rode at the front and initially asked a participant in the tour to come at the end of the tour Drive in a group and make sure that no one gets lost. It is the tour company's responsibility to ensure the safety and care of the participants! Our guide often began to explain, even though not all of the tour participants were present and one often had the impression that the tour only took place among a small group and that people who had to wait at the red light or were driving more slowly were not were taken into account. The promised water was half a plastic cup full of water after an hour and glucose was distributed, but there wasn't enough for everyone. The tour took around 4 hours in total, but in the end it was just a quick descent with getting off and getting back on the bike straight away and I would have found it better if the stops had been reduced and more time had been taken for explanations. The bikes were in good condition. Overall, unfortunately, we cannot recommend the tour and thought that it would probably have been better to rent bikes and explore the city on our own.

😠 Imagine the worst party music... then double it. That's what the "DJ" is "spinning" on this boat. No one was dancing the entire evening. Drinks are pretty weak too; they messed up a vodka soda!?
