Probably one of the best bike rental services in Budapest. The staff is very friendly and explains thoroughly what they offer and how it all works. You can rent all sorts of bikes at a fair price. We had an amazing afternoon and would use their service again!

The best thing I did in Budapest was rent a bike and take a train to the Slovak border...Okay, that's a bit of joke :). At Bike and Relax I was able to rent a gravel bike, get a train ticket arranged to the city of Esztergom, and ride back to Budapest along the Danube cycling trail network. The scenery along the Danube bend is supposed to be some of the prettiest river scenery in Hungary, and it was really fun to ride along the river and see the nature and different (smaller, after the gigantic madness of Budapest) Hungarian cities. I biked around 100 km from Esztergom back to the bike shop in Budapest. The gravel bike was an Austrian KTM Strada bike, and it was very nice. A gravel bike was great for the trip, as not everything is paved and cobblestones are everywhere. I was provided with a lock, spare tube/flat repair kit, and Danube cycling guide book. The owner, Thomas, was kind enough to install pedals that I had and adjust the bike for me. I liked the bike so much that I rented it for the next day and biked all over the city. It was also interesting to see Budapest's bike infastructure. I highly reccomend this company for bike rental! The bike was great, and I think the prices are fair. I had great communication with Thomas beforehand, who gave me reccomendations for some of the most popular day trips from Budapest along the Danube.

Rented bicycles for a day to explore the city. Tires needed replacing but rolled fine. Shifted and braked well. For 14 euros a day it was a good bike. Renting was very easy, as was returning it. Highly recommended and a good substitute for public transport.

We rented in September 2022 and they were very nice, cheap and nice bikes

It was a beautiful, interesting and varied bike tour to the main sights of Budapest with guide Thomas, who has a great knowledge of history and stories. The ebikes are very high quality and in top condition, the time (3.5 hours) passed very quickly.

Pickpocket! French friends flee! Well-known scam with the saddle and its quick tightening. It comes off very easily (see photo), it will be stolen from you in less than 5 seconds and of course the rental company knows it! (Well-known scam among bike rental companies in big cities) Without scruples, he asks you for €50 (19,000huf), if you don't pay he threatens you. A real pickpocket! Flee this disrespectful renter/thief. Obviously no theft insurance is offered! The business is well put together! A real scam for tourists. The bikes are not well maintained, they brake poorly, the speeds do not go well, for this rental price look elsewhere or rent city bikes. BIKEBASE are much more professional and less fraudulent! Thank you for this life lesson, I hope life will reward you :) Evil always comes back. to the one or the one who makes it. Don't play games with others, because. the wheel spins.

We did a city tour with Ester who was a great guide. Very informative and kept it fun. Highly recommended!

My husband and I went thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ester. She was knowledgeable, kind and highly professional. She provided the perfect amount of information so we wouldn’t be overwhelmed… but rather actually retain the material. She was excellent at guiding our group, which included a novice, though town. The bikes were great- easy to ride and well- maintained (and we certainly appreciated the eBike on the Buda hills!) I highly recommend both the tour and Ester. Amazing way to see this beautiful city.

Absolutely worth doing, the guide we had was amazing he knew so much and the tour was longer than I thought which was good we got so much covered in that time, well worth doing I'd definitely would go again, the ebike is so easy to use.

Great selection of bikes and very helpful. Ended up renting a gravel bike with electronic shift and disc brakes and riding north along the river. They even had pedals with spd clips (had my biking shoes with me). Wonderful day. Thank you Bike and Relax!!!

Excellent all round!! We rented E-Bikes and everything was perfect from the great bikes, to the service and guidance. Can’t recommend enough. Cheaper than other places too. We first rented bikes from ZedBikes and one of the bikes broke within 5 mins and had no brakes - luckily they sent us here!!

It's a great place with great customer service. I rented a road bike (KTM Strada 1000 55 with Tiagra groupset) for a day which served the purpose to complete the BuBa (~120k) perfectly. Unfortunately they didn't have any clipless pedals so I needed to find one myself. Otherwise everything was perfect. Would recommend!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bikes are in a good condition and prices are good. They even gave us phone holders for the bikes, free of charge of course.

The staff was very gentle and handsome. The location was very close to my accommodation just pnly 5minutes by foot. The bike road in this city was well prepared and other vehicle helped my driving carefully. The Szecheny bridge has bicycle road including other cars so everyone could drive across the bridge even at night. The kind staff help Ed me to return tomorrow morning and this store opens from 9 AM. I enjoyed my trip in Budapest till midnight with bike. The using Bike is more good than foot.

I rented an e-bike from Bike & Relax 10/2022 on my own, with no guide, no tour. I highly recommend this if you just want to go explore the city on your own. Bicycle was in great shape, and I got to see so much more of Budapest than I ever would have on foot or by taxi or bus. Great customer service, honest staff. I left the store and forgot my cash deposit after I turned everything in and left, and he called my mobile to have it returned. Very honest employees, 10/10 recommend.

3900 HUF (11-12 eur) for 24 hours of rent of a good bike. Nice english-speaking staff, willingness to help and overall pleasure to have affairs with them make this place a perfect nike rent choice for me. Locks, helmets and repair kits are available to take with you on your ride. 10/10, highly recommended.

Great bike rental. Used their bikes for 4 days which were perfectly suited for the roads of Budapest. We found out we could not store our bikes at our appartement so they let us store them at their store overnight. All in all, great bikes and service for a great price!!

Good service and friendly people. Also good price/quality relationship. They let you test and try the bike/brakes/etc. before hiring. It also turned out te be one/the only one open during the winter season in and around Budepest (I was looking for a mountainbike).

Very good rental service 🚲. We rented Kalkhoff e-bikes and enjoyed it very much. The bike look and feel brand-new. Lock and helmet (optional, not required) are included in the price. They offer also guided tours but we did not use it. Next time in Budapest we would absolutely rent our bike here again. Thank you Thomas for the great service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All you can really ask! Friendly staff, good prices and great bicycles! We were very lucky because the city roads were closed for Giro Di Italia and we could ride those e-bikes all day comfortably :). Surprisingly we didn’t manage to drain their battery which is another sign of good quality bicycles ;)

We had a great day on the bikes! Thomas did an excellent job in explaining very interesting details about the History of Budapest and Hungary. The Tour was 3.5h long, very easy to pedal, included many (short) breaks and lots to see end explore! Traffic in Budapest is very bike-friendly, so the tour is also very safe. Highly recommended!!!!

What a great overview of the city! We had a knowledgeable leader who explained Hungary's history: Tomas is an engaging speaker. I loved the e-bike, particularly as we rode up the steep castle hill without effort.
