The
best
thing
I
did
in
Budapest
was
rent
a
bike
and
take
a
train
to
the
Slovak
border...Okay,
that's
a
bit
of
joke
:).
At
Bike
and
Relax
I
was
able
to
rent
a
gravel
bike,
get
a
train
ticket
arranged
to
the
city
of
Esztergom,
and
ride
back
to
Budapest
along
the
Danube
cycling
trail
network.
The
scenery
along
the
Danube
bend
is
supposed
to
be
some
of
the
prettiest
river
scenery
in
Hungary,
and
it
was
really
fun
to
ride
along
the
river
and
see
the
nature
and
different
(smaller,
after
the
gigantic
madness
of
Budapest)
Hungarian
cities.
I
biked
around
100
km
from
Esztergom
back
to
the
bike
shop
in
Budapest.
The
gravel
bike
was
an
Austrian
KTM
Strada
bike,
and
it
was
very
nice.
A
gravel
bike
was
great
for
the
trip,
as
not
everything
is
paved
and
cobblestones
are
everywhere.
I
was
provided
with
a
lock,
spare
tube/flat
repair
kit,
and
Danube
cycling
guide
book.
The
owner,
Thomas,
was
kind
enough
to
install
pedals
that
I
had
and
adjust
the
bike
for
me.
I
liked
the
bike
so
much
that
I
rented
it
for
the
next
day
and
biked
all
over
the
city.
It
was
also
interesting
to
see
Budapest's
bike
infastructure.
I
highly
reccomend
this
company
for
bike
rental!
The
bike
was
great,
and
I
think
the
prices
are
fair.
I
had
great
communication
with
Thomas
beforehand,
who
gave
me
reccomendations
for
some
of
the
most
popular
day
trips
from
Budapest
along
the
Danube.
