Located at Normafa Park with a moderate 20 mins hike you come to this amazing Elizabeth lookout. Constructed out of stone and with internal stairs providing access to the various levels which 360’ views of the surrounding areas Access to the upper level is available but not recommended for those with a fear of heights. With beautiful architecture and attention to detail providing both a beautiful building and accompanying vistas. With a coffee shop and restroom facilities on site this is a great way to spend the day and well worth the visit to Normafa.

Near Normafa park, 1.4km hiking from the Normafa or we can say that around half an hour hiking. Chairlift available - chairlift price 2000ft per person. Avoid during summer. But must visit in winter.

It's a great free lookout spot for sweeping views of Budapest. It's just a few minutes away from the chairlift. It's a bit rundown but has several levels providing slightly different views. The structure itself is also nice to see. There is a cafe at the bottom, too, with outdoor seating. I'd say it's one of the best lookout spots in Budapest.

Great 360 degree views from the top of this tower which is free to visit and a short uphill walk from the Upper Chairlift Station. You can see Budapest quite clearly and if you Zoom in, can see sites like the City Park and Parliament Buildings. The Tower can get very busy, particularly if there's a school group there.

Has a stunning out look over the Budapest letting you be able to spot landmarks from a distance such as the parliament making for a fun game of spotting landmarks. But in a more serious sense the accessibility is great as long as you can make your way up the stairs. It is one that is a must to go to if your hanging by the city or just seeking a day go on a hike, run, walk, cycle, you name it. Over all is just an amazing place to go in all situations! 5/5 would recommend.

Another breathtaking lookout in Budapest! This one is in my opinion the best lookout in Budapest! It's located on such a good spot that you can see everything from an amazing angle! There are also multiple ways you can get up here without a car! You can take a skilift type of escalator which is really fun and so amazingly beautiful! Or you can take the germek vasút (the children train line!) I have been up multiple times and my recommendation is to go up with tram 60 what is also so beautiful and a fun experience. Then take the children train line. And then walk up to the lookout. When you want to go down I recommend to take the skilift down and enjoy the amazing views even more!

We rode the chairlift to the top of the lift and hiked the rest of the way. A little steep, but manageable, paved all the way. The views are spectacular. Great pics to be found here.

A very special and charming place. Regardless of the weather, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. It's a picturesque area and should be in your list while visiting Budapest

Pleasant place with views, hiking area around. We were during weekdays at the end of October, not the best weather - but almost no people. The cafe inside was closed, except bathroom.

You can see the entirety of Budapest from here. A definite must in your itinerary of visiting Budapest. You can get a chairlift up for 3000 ft per person / both ways, but there is availability to do the hike yourself. We went on the weekend and it was no wait, but I was assured this is uncommon and there is usually a queue. But it does go quite quick. The view on the top is amazing and there is plenty of cafes or ice scream stalls to get yourself refreshments. One directly under the tower. There are toilets for the public to use.

If you have a half a day or a day this is the best place to come from Budapest city centre. Easy to reach by cogwheel train and a bit of hiking. Then take the chairlift down to city with an amazing view. The lookout is free to visit. And it can be very wind up there.

We had an amazing night walk at this year's Midsummer night. The air was clear and there was also a nice breeze what freshened us up after the really hot day.We barely met others so it was extremely guiet.Everybody should try this at least once, there's no need to worry about the dark, there's an.alternative path back which doesn't lead through the woods and it has street lamps. For us it' remains a memorable walk for sure😊

I got to chair lift late, attendant was grumpy and wouldn't let me go down; so I decided to make my own way down... Stumbled on the lookout and it was best part of my trip probably. View is breathtaking and with no one there because chair lift was closed was icing on the cake. Note. Its a HIKE down so I recommend Budapest Go app and good shoes (30mins+). Google maps might have u walking for hours. Went to [Iren utca and got 22,22A,222 bus serves after 6pm]

Great place for walking/hiking. The lookout is a treat for all the hard work walking up the hill. It's totally worth it, because you can see the city like in the palm of your hand. Recommend 10/10

The chairlift is open till seven so don't be late or you hike a mile down the mountain. Also they dont tell you you have to hike 500 feet from the top of chairlift to lookout, however the view is great. Definitely not wheelchair or stroller friendly but I guess thats kind of obvious when you're visiting a tower on a mountain;)

A stunning tower, free to enter, with a cafe/pub inside! The views are breathtaking in every direction. Easily accessible via multiple trails from Zugliget and Normafa, as well as chairlift from Zugliget and train some of the way from Normafa.

It’s a beautiful place with the spectacular view of Budapest. The only thing that mattered to me as a tourist was about the pictures at the entrance on the wall explaining about the history of the tower I guess and none of them was translated to english. Also, the cleanliness of the inside of the tower is another offer of mine as a tourist. Other than that this is a unque and wonderful place to visit in Budapest.

Surprisingly a free attraction in Budapest. I mean it's nice but could be a bit more maintained. We enjoyed climbing the stairs up to the top. There are different levels to enjoy the view. Good spot for tourists to see the city from above

Free attraction, best view in Budapest. Take the chairlift to get there.

Absolutely beautiful views from the top, be prepared for a good healthy walk up. There are several routes to the top, I opted for the stone/wood stairs and honestly definitely a good workout.

This place is amazing. Note that you cannot drive up to the tower, you need to park a little ways down, like a 30 minute walk through well marked paths or a paved road for cyclists. The view is stunning, I can only imagine the sunset. It says it closes at 8 so unfortunately you might not be able to watch the sunset in the summer. Definitely worth a visit!

This is one of the best places to have a view of Budapest. A great hike as well for novice walkers. It's in a great condition with a small museum in it. Highly recommended of you're in Budapest.

The view over budapest is amazing, the entry for the lookout tower is free! And for only 5 euros you can take the chairlift to get up the mountain.

A short walk but a steep climb from the chair car upper station but worthwhile for the breath taking views. Free to visit .

Although Budapest is somewhat difficult to see from the tower, the view of the surrounding hills is great and certainly worth the visit. The chairlift to the top takes roughly ten minutes and was 1800huf for a return trip if I remember correctly. I've heard that hiking to the top is also worth it if you have more time. There is a cafe inside the tower and inside the chairlift station and there are several food stands next to the station as well. Be prepared for wind and cold at the top, especially around this time of the year

Very nice scape away from the city, the access is free to the top of the tower, and to the park where it is located and it is possible to hike from/to Normafa Park. The view is very impressive and it is nice in all seasons (just beware of the weather being colder than normal during the winter.

Still a recommended lookout in Budapest! 360° view to the city and the surrounded nature. The lookout is easily accessable and cosy.
