👍 It is a worthy memory of great Hungarian athletes. The air inside was unbearably hot despite the whirring of the ventilation.

Disappointing. Displays are poor, just posters on the wall. Missed out on showing more about gold medal winners (water polo). Nothing was shown about paralympics.

I learned many interesting things about the stadium under construction and the old one. Unfortunately, the video glasses were not good.

The room is small, not suitable for presenting many sports successes. Visitors expect more from a museum. The staff were nice.

The size of the Museum determines the quality! I hope one day it can get a DECENT place (not a shop window like now). Hungarian sport is MUCH, MUCH more than that!!!

A comprehensive exhibition on the history of the Olympics, highlighting the Hungarian aspects. You can also see the personal belongings of our famous athletes. And the entrance ticket is a truly symbolic sum of one thousand 😉

(Translated by Google) As early as 1926, an exhibition of sports history was organized at the Hungarian National Museum. The Sports Museum, established in 1931, as well as the sports collections of the College of Physical Education, fell victim to World War II. A permanent exhibition was held in the apartment of our first Olympic champion, Alfred Hajós, in 1959. (Alfréd Hajós died in 1955.) In 1975, the collection moved to the former parade building of Dépsa György út in Népstadion. During the construction of the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena, the museum received a permanent exhibition space in the area between the metro station and the arena. The offices of the museum were in the Ferenc Puskás Stadium until the demolition of the building. They then moved to Hermina Road 49. [2] From 2017, they moved to Dózsa György út 1, the BOK Sports Hall. (Original) Már 1926-ban rendeztek sporttörténeti kiállítást a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumban. Az 1931-ben létrehozott Turista Múzeum, valamint a Testnevelési Főiskola sport-tárgyú gyűjteményei a második világháború áldozatává váltak. Állandó kiállítást első olimpiai bajnokunk, Hajós Alfréd lakásában rendeztek be 1959-ben. (Hajós Alfréd 1955-ben hunyt el.) 1975-ben a Népstadion egykori Dózsa György úti felvonulási épületébe költözött a gyűjtemény. A Papp László Budapest Sportaréna építésekor a metróállomás és az aréna közötti területen kapott a múzeum állandó kiállítóteret. A múzeum irodái a Puskás Ferenc Stadionban voltak az épület bontásáig. Ezt követően a Hermina út 49.-be költöztek.[2] 2017-től a Dózsa György út 1-be, a BOK Sportcsarnokba kerültek át.
