👍👍 Perfect coffee/roast made by professional baristas and with reasonable prices compared to their competitors. The vibe, the decor and design represents everything for me what I love in Budapest. Good location, close to Astoria and I'm totally in love with the high ceiling and big windows that open up... A coffee roaster that opened the doors to the public. They serve only their own coffee, with a bar and knowledgeable, pleasant staff. They have house blends and single origin coffee of light and medium roast with their own little shop inside the place as well where you can buy freshly packed roasted coffee beans. The place inside is huge with many desks to sit at, have a conversation or to work and a few tables just outside (although quite busy and loud being on Rákóczi út).

✨ My best coffee discovery in the last 4 months. Probably the very first time for me to get possessed by the spirit of a coffee snob—smelling a cup of batch brew made me want to write an exalted description of the scent, using words like attenuate, velvety and cassis. All this to say: great coffee.☕️👌 And you can buy some beans too. 🪑 Well-positioned tables—each seems to be in its own nook, so that you don't feel like you're sitting on top of a millennial couple with a dog, or accidentally listening in to a nearby coffee bromance. Spacious place with a lot of light and—with a large table that looks good for co-working—seems like a nice place to do some get some coffee-fuelled productivity hours in in the winter. This is for now a conjecture, to be supported by evidence in the coming weeks. Wifi available, password on the receipt.

It’s a nice place for a remote work or studying. They offer a high quality coffee and a few sandwiches and cakes. We’ve chosen this place for our co-working day a few times already. Also the service was great and friendly.

Great, spacious coffee shop with a good ambiance and friendly staff. Love the coffee here too! I wish they had a wider selection of food available to bridge the "lunch break". Edit: I still like the place BUT the wifi hasn’t been working reliably for the past 1.5 months. Unfortunately that’s a deal breaker… ☹️

We passed by the place and we could not resist to enter for a coffee, which was a very good decision. We asked for a cortado (with oat milk) and a small home made chocolate chip cookie. Both were very good and great quality and the staff were really nice.

Super nice cafe in the heart of Budapest, definitely one of my favourites. Good prices, great selection, nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Also, it is a good place to work as they have good wifi, lots of plugs, and comfortable chairs. Would 100% recommend!

Coffee, staff, atmosphere, interior all top👌🏼 love this place. Plenty of seats, relaxing music and atmosphere. A lot of people come to work here or even have tea parties.

Staff is really friendly and the place is cute... But the coffee.... Extremely sour and undrinkable unfortunately. Edit: thanks for the very helpful reply. I also noticed that coffee in Budapest is generally very sour, so my bad!

the vibes of this place was soooo nice! the music was a bit loud for studying but good place to go to do some light work/talking. got a cappuccino and it was an 8/10! the iced matcha was super watery and 99% milk! DONT GET THR MATCHA ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! also they charge an extra 300 for oat milk (normal but still sad). wifi and restroom were good!

Coffee: great, medium roast beans in the grinder with slight acidic notes. Latte: milk could be steamed a bit more. Got no latte art for my takeaway. Place: wonderful, calm atmosphere, I will definitely come back to enjoy it. Price: reasonable, not too expensive.

Atmosphere is great, the guy at the counter was really helpful. Coffee was pretty good. One thing I’d say though is there is only batch brew / drip coffee, no pour-over options

Great coffee roastery. Tried the batch brew (Kenyan washed) and it was very good. Would like to try some of their filter brews on next visit. I spotted a poster advertising tastings which I would love to try. (Edit: they don’t do filter! Fairly odd, I’d expect a place like this to do v60 etc)

Spacious coffee venue with a nicely decorated interior. You can choose to sit at one of the high or low tables, in one of the private nooks or at the window with a view on the busy street. They offer a wide arrange of coffees, drinks and things to eat. Flat White and croissant tasted great.

A lovely coffee shop we found while walking by. Popped in for a cappuccino and a double. The young lady behind the counter suggested their Ethiopian bean and I'm glad she did. Fantastic cup of coffee. Great atmosphere, lots of students hanging out and studying, great music playing in the background. I look forward to returning soon!

The coffee shops in the Jewish Quarter are nice but mostly small and packed in the mornings. This one is a few minutes away but more spacious if that’s what you need. Great coffee and croissant as well.

The place looks really nice. It is cozy, atmospheric and very student friendly, but the coffee is very bad. Maybe I can’t speak for the milk coffees but the espresso was sour and extremely bitter to the point it felt spicy. Maybe I just got a bad batch of burnt coffee but unfortunately, it tasted horrible. If there is a next time I’ll get some milk coffee, but I don’t know yet. TLDR: don’t get the Espresso

Really good coffee serviced in a beautiful way. It's a bit pricy, but yes, it is in the middle of the city anyway. A place is good for a relaxed chat, stopping for a while during the day. There's also a wonderful photo exhibition of Peter Ronaszeki, which is a nice touch for the atmosphere of the cafe.

Really love this place. I went here with some friends and they are also a fan of it. Hot chocolate is delicious and the staff are really friendly and considerate. They gave us a complimentary brownie because our order was taking quite a long time (but it is really not a big deal, especially with the cozy atmosphere). Thank you, this place is highly recommended. Will go back again due to student discount from 4 - 6 pm.

The place with a nice interior just near Astoria. The coffee was ok, but the walnut cookie served together was so delicious (maybe they should consider selling them separately as well). There are many sitting places, but not many plugs, so may not be a good place for working. They also close at 6pm, which is a little early, so plan accordingly.

The ultimate study cafe with student discounts from 4-6pm. They are very welcoming of students coming to study over a nice cup of coffee. The service is also very kind and helpful.

Staff is super friendly and has good language skills. Coffee selection has wide variety and they offer different types of milks as well. Aesthetics are very cozy, yet urban with a twist of fine tuned design. International Eduroam network is also available which is a big plus for students and travellers. Price wise drink menu is affordable considering quality. My overall experience was great and I would like to recommend this place for everyone, who are seeking for quality coffee and a time to sit down for a moment.

I am writing about the second place in Buda: Relatively high prices but low service quality - a) unfriendly staff; b) no brown sugar options; c) no offering of rest room for guests. In Budapest, any place that offers seatings should have that. This coffee shop has a restroom, but denies it to its paying clients. Thus, several go to the next coffee place, where they pay extra and that place complains that they have become the restroom of Arch & Beans. The coffeshop appears like a money making vehicle with little thought and effort of how to offer good service to its clients. Not recommended

Perfect local roast perfectly served. If you prefer your cappuccino hot and intense (as it should be) - this coffee place is for you. The cafe offers a variety of cakes and baked goods, other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well. The area is clean and spacious, divided into smaller, cozy nooks. There is a dedicated space with plugs. Barista is nice and friendly.

Kind and efficient staff, reasonable prices and such large portions of both sandwich and coffee, that I could not 'tuck them in" both. Noteworthy the music played in the background, too. 😀

Loved the place. Great specialty coffee, handsome service.😊 Large, spacious venue with extremely high ceilings decorated simply yet sophisticated. It almost has that alternative vibe for a co-working space but also cozy old-fashion cafe.

Great spot for coffee. Big and open seating area, with plenty of working spots. Lots of folks on laptops during the day. Coffee is fantastic as well. Fun vibe with a groovy soundtrack playing in the background.
