The hype is real. This place is that good. As soon as we came in, we were told to order at the counter. We sat on the first floor. Second floor was full. They have freshly squeezed orange juice in two sizes. If you are two, get a single big one. We got two small ones. It was still perfectly sized. The lattes were nice. Their beans are a bit more fuller body. Not sure if it is dark roast. It is so very delicious. I kinda wish the coffee came with the food. It was lukewarm by the time food arrived. Small nitpick. I guess I could have mentioned that while ordering. Food was awesome. It is probably one of the best tasting avocado toast with salmon. I loved it. My wife was super happy with hers as well. The bathrooms are very clean. Service level is pretty much at the US level. We are asked how our drinks and food are. I really enjoyed it. Definitely a go to spot for brunch. Also the music is great here too 🔥

Highly recommend coming here for brunch! Small place with great menu (lots of choices). Vegan and vegetarian options available. Everything we tried was super delicious. The staff is really friendly and they play nice music in the background 🤗

Easily one of the best places we ate during our trip. The food quality is top notch and the sandwiches were great. I can say that a lot of highly rated places in Budapest are hit or miss, but this place is a real winner. The staff is very friendly as well!

The short story: if you want the best place in Budapest to grab a breakfast, it’s here. It was unbelievable! Being English I’ve had a few English breakfasts in my time. Did not expect to have the best of my life in Budapest… it’s rare that I do not need to season a meal, this was delightful! Highly recommend both the English breakfast and the oatmeal pancakes. The staff here are super welcoming and made every effort to accommodate us. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they even gave us a little something to wish her a happy birthday :) a sweet gesture that reflects the atmosphere of this place.

Highly recommend this place. Delicious food and coffee! The ingredients are super fresh. I especially like the radish sprout and their bread! Wish I can try their lemonade too as they looked so good. Will come back again!

My friend and I went here for a quick breakfast and a coffee. I must say, I was quite impressed by how good it was. We had the “Fancy breakfast” (down) and “Farmer breakfast” (up) and it was a delightful. The coffee is also great, and the staff was really friendly. So, if you fancy a quick breakfast, you can safely stop by and enjoy a “Fancy breakfast”

Nice cafe with good looking food and friendly staff. We ordered Christie’s breakfast and avocado toast with orange coffee and cappuccino. Food had variety of taste and interesting ingredients like quail eggs and fermented vegetables, but guacamole was extra sour and this made both dishes not balanced with a taste. Salted salmon was a bit tired and chewy. It seems they really tried to made it in a good way but something went wrong. Also orange coffee was unexpectedly extra small. Not sure if it all worth 40$ 🫠

We ordered the vegan pastrami and avocado toast for breakfast before catching a flight out of Budapest. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was colorful, pleasing to the eye and delicious. The cozy bistro was a great way to end our vacation. We highly recommend!

We discovered this place during our vacation and kept coming again and again - this is quite unusual to us because we like to try new places! Food here is amazing, generous portions and great coffee. During the first visit we had salmon sandwich and Ruben sandwich - both very good! Next time we came specifically for Ruben sandwich :) and also tried the fancy breakfast - which easily can serve two people. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. Definitely this is a must place in Budapest!

Pros: - special food that looks amazing on plate - "home made" ingredients - lotnof things or most things are prepared from scratch, like sauces, kimchi, seeds, etc. - great service, very attentive with lot of knowledge about the food they serve - healthy(ish) Cons: - sour - in one world, they use the same sour tasting ingredient in every food, if you like this taste then you will be delighted, if you are not fan of it, you can be disappointed All in all: Was there 2x. Great place and if you like that very specific sour taste they you, you will love their food. If not, it will still be 4/5 stars :)

More than 5 stars! The homemade signature lemonade was brutally good and refreshed us in a very warm summer morning. The food was tasty, the staff was very kind with us. We loved It!

A delicious and very enjoyable breakfast. The Reuben and Pastrami sandwiches were outstanding and very filling. We both throughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend. Matthew served us and was very friendly and made us feel most welcome. We would come back again. Thank you. 😊

The first question we were presented with, out of the blue, is “ladies, would you like to have the best brunch in all of budapest?”, and indeed it was! I had the vegan omelet and it was amazing! The staff is very kind. Overall 10/10.

Lovely staff, delicious meals. The place is small but has an ambience that makes it really cozy. Prices are not low but ok for this part of the city and reasonable for their good quiality. They have a nice selection of vegan and other special diet options too. We’re probably going again!

This is just a magical place. Here really tasty breakfasts, I recommend 100% percent. Also I'm in progress of learning Hungarian and when I told about this they made me a gift 😊 Dessert for my interest in learning their very difficult language. I'm so impressed. This is first time when something like that happened with me)

Nice place, friendly staff. A bit small, but it was not crowded. The food tasted good, however I expected more from a “fancy breakfast” appearance. Overall worths to go. A bit more expensive than other brunches in town.

Very nice and comfortable place, not a lot of seating but we got lucky and were able to enjoy breakfast twice there. Very generous portions with amazing taste. Somewhat expensive but totally worth it for the quantity and taste. Very friendly service.

The food was overall good. We ordered iced coffee and iced matcha but none were actually iced. The staff was great and very kind. The upstairs was very hot.

The only thing I didn’t like is I didn’t discover this place before! The food was amazing (ordered the Heaven Waffle), the staff was nice and the environment is really cozy. Definitely recommended!

I realized after all the years living in Budapest this by far is my favorite brunch place, the bread is great and fresh and the pancakes have banana which make them super tasty and fluffy. Totally in love with the place, a bit pricy but worth it :)

Christie's is really cozy, food is fresh and the staff very kind and English speaking so you will not have any communication problem. We had scrambled eggs and Christie's breakfast and it was super tasty. We will totally visit again if come back in Budapest.

Ok brunch spot. Ham and eggs was nice but overcomplicated with pretenius sauce. Coffee was excellent. Nice decoration and a cool vibe. Service friendly enough but nothing wow.

We went Breakfast and it was amazing and delicious! The guilty Sandwich is a must! Congrats! The only thing is the AC was not running and it was so hot upstairs. The guys told us first so we decide to stay and totally worthy!! Again congrats!

Loved this place!! The food was very good and great portions, presentation was lovely, very nice atmosphere, and attention/service was so great. I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, which came with salad and bread (so good that I missed to take the picture). Got a coffee that was perfect, and they kindly gave us some strawberry sparkling water to start the day. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone un Budapest!!

This place was very close to where we were staying so we stopped for a bite as it was convenient. The food was INSANE! We went back twice in our 3 day trip. Incredible flavours in their Vegan Pastrami Sandwich. So impressed with their menu selection and service. Only downfall was the size of seating area - they still deserve 5*!
