Very good traditional food. We have ordered a 2 person plate and it was huge. The staff was extremly kind. The place has outdoor seating too, the inside of the place not so big.

We ordered the Yu-grill plate for four people and it was more than enough ! Juicy and delicious. We asked them to replace the pork with chicken and they were very nice to do 😁 the breads were a work of aartt! Staff were friendly as well🤩

Wonderful experience! Everything was perfect, on time, clean and tasty. Special highlight is staff. Professional and great hosts. Definitely will be back again. As a Serbian, can say food is great even for the Serbian standards.

Amazing place to taste the taste of balkan foods in Budapest. I celebrated my birthday here and we ordered the big extra grill plate for four person. The food was undoubtedly delicious and even my stomach almost exploded 😁. The service was nice, the waiter was super friendly and very helpful.

First I was amazed that almost everybody rated this restaurant with 5 stars but after having dinner here unfortunately there is no 6-stars rating available :-) Really great dishes: we ordered the 4 persons ' yu grill plate' which was really good. Plenty of food and very tastefull. Good value for money. Even the waiter sanitizes his hands before bringing the plates. Example for other restaurants.

We have just eatten there. Good food, but the service is bad: they serve things you don't asked and mislead you by asking "would you adjvar or just a sauce". You make a choice and here you are: 500 HUF per person for a sauce?!!! 550 HUF for 1 grilled paprika per person. My husband got a drink, simular to uzu in a Greek restaurant voor 1590 HUF, he never asked for. He accepted the drink thinking it was for free. In total 30% of a bill were that "small things". We paid, of course, but just be aware that they cheat you just right in your face.

Excellent authentic Yugoslavian grill

It's an amazing restaurant with friendly staff, who are fluent in English. The food tastes amazing, I've been here twice now and both the burger that I ate last time and the pasta that I ate this time were delicious. It's a very calming and comfortable atmosphere which only makes it better.

I had a yu burger that comes with fries. All very very tasty. There should be a 2km line for hamburgers here, not fast food chains... I'll never understand that

What a disappointment! The food they serve can only be good to people who never tried Serbian food. Čevapčići were awful. The side dishes very poor quality. Ali in all, definitely never again.

For balkan grill and/or meat lovers it's highly recommended. Extra plate for two persons is huge, I guess enough for three! We liked to taste various things on that and their home-made bread is amazimg! The service was kind, design-wise nothing special but they ha ve a nice terrace on the promenade. Best place in Budapest try some Balkan authentic food and if you are looking to eat some barbecue on the weekends with your friends or family this is the place to go to.

I went here with my colleagues for a Christimas dinner. The service is very polite and professional. The food is fresh and delicious. I will visit the restaurant more often in the future. I recommend them to anyone who likes real Balkanian food.

Yu-Grill is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Budapest. They serve authentic Serbian food but they also have other items on their menu like pizza or hamburger. I recommend you try the dishes they are most famous for, like Ustipak or the Gourmet Pljeskavica. If you are with your friends or family, try one of their Yu-Grill plates, so you can get a taste almost everything that is present on their menu (see the picture below). The sides are also great and they are included in the price - you will get fresh vegetables and a freshly baked bun as well. Make sure you visit them if you’re in town!

A teraszon ültünk le. 2 személyes grill tálat rendeltünk. (Tekintélyes mennyiséget kaptunk, kicsit lehetne kevesebb is.) Sokféle grillezett húsaruval bőségesen megpakolva. Csevap, pljeszkavica, grillkolbasz és egyebek. A csirke razsnics és az ustipak, kolbász, pljeskavica kimondott jó volt. A Csevap picit lehetett fűszeresebb. Minden szaftos volt, nem kiszárított. Sok enyhén sós sultkrumplit tettek a hús alá, vágott vörös és lilahagymat. Kétféle káposztát és az általam eddig nem ismert urnebeszt, valamint még egy tejföl szerű szószt. A fantasztikus ízű , valószínű, hogy olajban még atsutott lepényt majdnem kihagytam. Nagyon jót ettünk, kedvező áron.
