Tried both meat and fit dishes which were all divine, and last time finely had some place left for dessert and the strudel was also delicious. The owner and the staff are all wonderful and I really feel like coming home when I go to Europa Bisztro. My favourite place for Hungarian cuisine in Budapest, a perfect blend of fine food and home cooking.

The goulash was delicious and the gnocchi with rock for cheese and spinach was fantastic and perfectly cooked. The poor waiter was running around like crazy I was the owner seem to be having fun drinking and smoking with everyone. I did not catch the waiters name but he had glasses and quite tall with dark curly hair and he was very professional and friendly.

The food and the environment were okay, but not worth the price you have to pay. The service was absolutely horrible. I was with a colleague from the US. For whatever reason, I was completely ignored by the servers. It seems I was non-existent to them. I don't want to accuse them of Racism yet. But the behaviour certainly showed it. Never ever go there again... The response from the restaurant really shows the arrogance and ignorance. No apologies, but accusing the guest of not making eye contacts. Let me make it crystel clear. I was NOT asked for drinks to begin with while my colleague was asked after we sat down. The food recommendation was directed to my colleague solely as if I were not there. I was NOT asked how my food was when the waiter took away our dishes while my colleague was asked. When it came to the bill, it went straight to my colleague without asking. I paid it in the end. During all these times, I was looking at the waiter/waitress, but with little/no reaction from them. Where is your eye contact? Have you made any efforts to ensure every guest is welcomed and being served properly? I don't think so. There is only one reasonable explanation... As a well-travelled business man, your restaurant was simply the strangest/worst experience. I stand by rating. Period!

Visited the restaurant with my friends from Spain and we really enjoyed our dinner! I’m normally vegetarian, occasionally eat meat, and when I do I want to make sure it’s a special, and this was of top quality (the goulash soup just wow)! The staff was also very kind + great music.

During a stag weekend with friends from London we visited Budapest, and kicked off our night at Europa Bisztro. A wonderful place, we enjoyed it so much, that we stayed for an extra few hours, drinking, before hitting some of the city's nightspots. However, it was the food which was memorable. I ordered the cholent – a slow cooked meat and vegetable stew. With eastern European roots, it is a dish my late grandmother made. Europa has taken the traditional Jewish dish to another level. With so many other great looking dishes on the menu, I will return to the restaurant, next time I am in Budapest.

Asked for a quick meal just as they opened for lunch, since we had reservations for a tour at the Parliament. Waiter was awesome and made everything happen, Found out later that he served us before he formally started his shift. He had to change into his uniform after he brought out the appetizers, I’d give him 6/stars if I could. Food was delicious. Wish I had time for dessert, Also wish I had more time to enjoy the atmosphere, which was incredibly serene considering we were having an outdoor meal on one of the busiest streets in Pest.

We had an excellent early dinner here ordering the Hungarian mix as an appetiser, then the goulash soup, the chicken paprikas with noodles and cucumber salad and then for dessert the plum filled dumplings. For drinks we had a tasty cocktail and then a coffee at the end. The service was great, extra shoutout to our waitress, the lady with the blondish hair, for being so accommodating and kind. Highly recommend this place!

Having lunch here is not just having some food but having an experience. The food was scrumptious and the service was impeccable. If you have time, I really recommend to go here and try their risotto with local mushrooms.

Amazing place. The staff are very welcoming and nothing was too much. I had the pea soup which was outstanding. And my other half had the ox cheek goulash soup. He couldn't get enough of it! The flavours were amazing. For main I had the paprika chicken l. The sauce was so flavoursome and the chicken fell off of the bone. It was delicious. My other half had the crispy pork loin. Again he didnt leave a morsel on the plate! Would highly recommend the food and the service here. We will definitely be back!

First of all, great staff! The interior was kind of classic and old-fashioned but we fancied it. Food was AMAZING, we enjoyed our three courses so much. It is a bit expensive but totally worth the experience. There was one down side, and that was that the wine was a bit disappointing. But overall very content.

We went back to this fabulous restaurant because we enjoyed the food so much the last time we were there. Again we were surprised by the good taste and quality. The prices are really fair and the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. Going to Bistro Europa is never disappointing and we will definitely come back.
