One day before our arrival we've got a message from the property confirming out check in time and casualy informing us, that the apartment we've booked is unavailable because of broken pipe and that we will get different room. Nothing more. After asking about the different room they've told us that the only option is to stay first night in one apartment and other two nights in different apartment. Both apartments in completely different location than the original one. At least they allowed us to cancel booking for free, but I find this kind of attitude from a property owner unaccaptable. Informing customer less than 24 hours before arrival that they can't stay in the apartment may be pure bad luck, but the fact, that I had to explicitely ask about more information and only after that I was told that we have to move from one apartment to another is just nonsense. And searching for a new accomodation day before arrival in the middle of August is not really nice or cheap...

Two weeks after the booking and two weeks before the arrival I received a message that we were being replaced by an apartment ("upgrade") and instead of a 102 square meter apartment we receive a 60 square meter apartment. And the price? the same price.

Really liked my stay. Everything was great except lack of towels for a family of five and also quite loud especially at night but this is understandable as it’s very central!

27.09.2022 Budapesta Miros de mucegai, umiditate excesiva, fara aer conditionat, mobilier invechit, uzat, dulapuri cu murdarie in ele, pline cu calorifere electrice, burlane,aspirator, pilote jegoase, intr-o camera erau puse haine la uscat de-ale proprietarului,vas wc infundat, geamuri sparte si unele gaurite pentru burlane de ac portabil.Am solicitat prezenta la apartament a gazdei insa acesta a refuzat.

Dreadful and the owner was rude

Be careful, the owner ask us to cancel the trip just before the trip due to overlooking! She won't answer the phone and be very unpolite.

Good location and good price.

Staff is polite and helpfull.

Nobody shows up at check in

Our apartment was in a beautiful 100-year-old city palace (Anchor Palace) in a prime location, but it has been in serious disrepair for years, which is also confirmed by official sources. On Wikipedia there is talk of a life-threatening condition, which probably applies especially to passers-by on the street, due to the risk of being hit by falling parts of the wall. The inner courtyard appears very dark and uncomfortable in the dark. In our apartment we discovered that the front door was difficult to lock. In addition, the lock on the window in one bedroom was broken and poorly held together with adhesive tape (a window facing the passage in the courtyard, the only window without metal grilles and shutters). Although the apartment was otherwise acceptable (albeit spartan), we felt absolutely uncomfortable and didn't want to spend a night there. It was already after 9 p.m. and we contacted the accommodation by phone and electronically. The answer that they couldn't do anything because everything was fully booked didn't come until 2 hours later. By this time we had already moved to a nearby hotel. The next morning we returned the key to the key box and complained in writing to the property and refunded money. The provider then unilaterally canceled the booking. No understanding of our concerns, according to them everything was fine with the accommodation. After contacting the booking platform several times, we gave up and wrote off the money. There is no trace of understanding or willingness for a refund from this side either.

Very unpleasant experience. We booked an apartment and when we went to the address given, no one greeted us and no one answered the phone... waiting 2 hours with the children on the sidewalk... The owner sent us the access code at 4 a.m. We obviously had to pay for another hotel.
