I visited this bath twice already (Dec 2019 and Jan 2020). Nicely refurbishment establishments, where the whole family can relax and enjoy wellness, spa and swimming facilities. The pools and wellness rooms are arranged on different floors. All floors can be accessed via stairs or elevators and you can purchase a variety of tickets depending on what takes you fancy. The top level Sauna World (with an outdoors panoramic pool, infra-, aromatherapy-, Finnish sauna and steam room, along with 3 thermal pools) can be visited by a combination ticket only. Children are prohibited to enter this area. There is a children area and two huge slides for kids, they can also visit the wellness suit which has 3 pools, including one with underwater jets. The outdoor pools are not in use during the winter. There is a huge indoor swimming pool on the ground floor. Swimming caps are obligatory here. In general, the changing facilities can feel a bit crowded and the whole bath has a very peculiar layout due to the hilly features of the terrain. I can imagine that someone with disabilities or in a wheelchair will find moving around in here a bit challenging. The bathroom floor in the changing room gets very littered with hair by the end of the day. Other areas and toilets were clean and well maintained. Visitors can park for free, there are plenty of places on one side of the building. The thermal water supplied in the pools and also in drinking wells in its natural form. It has a moderate diluted mineral content (calcium, magnesium, hidrogen-carbonate) and low in sodium.

Recommended by a friend we directly went the next day to discover this bath. Parking is on different levels outdoors, for free but secured. The inside but also outside areas work on different levels due to the hilly location. Feeling is very spacious and the building which hosts a proper pool, sauna and wellness area as well as a kids area is pretty new. There are also 2 slides but one of them is from age 12 on only. Using the pool inside and pools outside / strand area we paid for 1 adult and 2 kids 3.800Ft (weekdays). Outside you have various areas with sun beds also to lay down, e. g. next to the baby/toodler pool, next to another pool... You can also book for some extra money kind of private terrace with 2 sunbeds and umbrella. For kids there is a playground and a football field, further an outdoor Gym is in between. No worries about food - there are several possibilities in the different areas including also ice cream stand. You can also have a nice walk around and discover lovely designed corners. Had a very relaxing day! For sure we will be back soon!

This is my favorite outdoor swimming complex in Budapest, I have a lots of nice memories as the 3rd district is where I grew up. You can enjoy the nature as it's based on a hillside with trees and since it's been renovated its even more stunning and peaceful. The only time when my visit lasted only 10minutes was a Sunday afternoon, haven't feel so disgusted for a long time by that crowd and noise, so if you want to relax avoid it on the weekends. I thought now we are forced to pre book tickets they won't allow such a crowd inside, awful, bit expensive for 10minutes, chose to sit in the bus stop for 90 minutes instead haha. But it's just a bad timing, still a lovely place.

Sometimes there are queues when the weather is good, otherwise a nice, renovated place, with some slides, children, and welness areas.

My little daughter and me have visited this pool complex on weekdays. There were not so hot, so it was not much people there. The complex is big and has 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor. 2 big Slides and indoor kids small pool. In all swimming pools the is a sign above says: only for swimmers. We’ve been swimming with my daughter in one small outdoor pool. And the safety guard asked us not swimming there because she can’t swimming by herself. She was in swimming sleeves and she can swim perfect with them. She really enjoyed swimming together in big pool. On my question “where can we swim together?” He didn’t respond and just answered : “he doesn’t understand me” In swimming pool there were only 2 of us, we didn’t bother anyone. In the pool I’ve been near my daughter, so I controlled totally her and took all responsibility on me. So I think we didn’t do any bad thing and safety guard had to be more polite with their clients. Also it would be better to provide such place where parents can swim together with their kids. Because I paid the same price as other people and also want to get a high quality of service and get relax of visiting your place.

It was announced like every 10 minutes that it was a cash-free place, but when we arrived they told us that was only possible to pay by cash and if didnt carry any we could use the euronet atm…eith zillion fee lol. not a coincidence i guess as in the bufet everything worked well. i feel cheated for a lot of money :(

It was really good, however the water was a bit nasty. We were in the Saunaworld, which is lovely, but it isn't capable of holding too many guests. All the saunas and pools were close to full. But we still had a great time.

Many kinds of entertainment - none of them excellent though. The swimming pool has many lanes - only 25m long. The relax area has three pools - none of them has thermal water. There are two big slides - one of them operated in winter, and the kids were not amused of it. There is a bistro that is rather a self-service restaurant, and though the quality of the food is quite OK compared to this fact, the prices are well above the self-service level. The place features a sauna area as well that I had good experience with during a former visit. Altogether it is a nice and colourful experience even in winter and I would visit it again if I have a half day being in the neighbourhood.

Friendly service, many pools, fair price (approx. 4000 Ft pp), wasn't too crowded. Some of the restaurants were closed even on a sunny Saturday, though, which resulted in long lines for food.

Been here twice now. It's good for the price, however the children's pools rules aren't followed. It's meant to be for children and clearly states that adults should not stay in the pool (unsanitary for young ones) but there's always adults sitting in there all the time. On top of this it's very busy so there's always a lot of people there. Still a good place to visit though.

Good baths ! Not a must see, but definetely a good place to go, cheaper than rudas baths gives the opportunity to change if you stay few days. Takes 45mn from deak Ferenc to go there

Amazing! I loved it, because it wasn’t too crowded and it was very clean. There was a huge outside pool area with a lot of shade and grass to relax on the plastic sunbeds. The wellness part had a lot od saunas and water with different temperatures (26 degrees, 36 degrees and 42 degrees). It also had a pool with panoramic view! The only thing to keep in mind: you can only pay with credit cards inside, so don’t bring any cash if you want to eat/drink.:)

The place is nice and not expensive. Really liked the sauna sessions. The staff is friendly and approachable. I personally would love it if the closing hour would be a bit later.

Very special bath in Budapest, has one of the biggest green area among all baths. The entrance fee is 1000 HUF for all day, so quite cheap, not modern, but has a great atmosphere. You have also good lunch options.

Completely disappointing. We paid the quiet expensive entry fee, and than we realised first that the whole wellness area was closed, than we decided to go to the sauna which is located on the top level, but the next surprise was that the elevator was out of service. So we took the stairs. After the sauna we wanted to go out to relax to the outdoor panorama jacuzzi which became a cold watered plunge pool. So overall we used sauna because that was the only option for 6000 HUF.

The staff is very kind and helpful. There are not too many pools but everyone can find a favourite for themselves. There is a separate kid's zone, a wellness zone, a sauna zone and a sports zone. Prices are okay.

  • 4/5 Dorina J. 1 year ago on Google
Quite good price, but not too many pools. Maybe when they open outside it will be better. There is a fun kids area, though, and has many different saunas and a restaurant with fairly good food.

Just had the worst experience at the Csillaghegyi Strandfürdő today. We are family of 4 with kids 4 and 2 years old. We got sold the family ticket (they asked for kids ages) only to be told that actually all but the sports pool is closed. Since our kids love water and have no problems with deep water we did not care at first. So we get to sports pool and are told we must have pool hats and that we can buy them if needed. So we go back and we are sold the cheapest possible shower caps for arm and a leg. We come back to the pool and the same life guard that told us to buy the caps tells us that we actually can not use the pool since our kids are to small and still use flotation devices for assistance (small swimming board and pool noodle). You can imagine the disappointment and tears at this point. Especially since the kids training in the pool were using exactly the same flotations devices as our kids. But for some reason its ok for them and not for us. After some arguing where can we then swim he calls his supervisor. And we are told by her that we were not supposed to be there and that we should leave. My heart was literally breaking as my son had crocodile tears on his cheeks looking at the water. At this point I was on the edge and we packed our things and went out. I have demanded a refund only to be told they can only refund the tickets and not the cost of the caps we were forced to buy. At this point I had it with them and after some harsh words they reluctantly fully refunded us. But the experience was incredibly stressful and it could have been easily avoided if they told us in the start we can not use their facilities or if they allowed kids to swim after they made the mistake. I will definitely not be coming back and will make sure to advise everyone in my circle to do the same.

A lot of activities from swimming to soak and fitness, fantastic faculties for children and I was very impressed with the cleanliness. Also the restaurant is pretty good and offers a wide variety of meals outside of the usual burger and fries. Can easily spend the whole day there but better to arrive early as the parking spaces fill up quickly on a summer day.

Once my favorite bath in Budapest it definitely is not a place to relax or rest. The facilities are only partially open, those open are only accessible half a day. Staff doesn't seem to care about providing a good atmosphere e g cleaning staff pushes people from A to B, steam sauna is not working properly. There are better ways to waste time and money - don't go there!

Amazing pool we visited during our stay in Budapest. If you have smaller kids and don't necessarily want to go to "boring" spa centers, the pool offers a sauna world, children's world, water slides and proper swimming lanes. As a bonus it offers free onsite parking and it's well priced.

Decadent outdoor pool. Amazing hidden green spaces with lots of shade. Pool for the babies plus swimming pool and sauna. I highly recommend you take a time travel trip to this decadent pool Budapest offers to the world.

Really well maintained place and great kids area with indoor pools and slides for different age groups. The outdoor kids pool was too cold for our taste and cannot be used for small kids with diapers anyways so we did not use this one. There were plenty indoor and outdoor adults pools as well and huge slides too. I found food a little overpriced but to be fair we have only checked for lángos. Admission prices were reasonable and I found out that there is a 5% off if you book online. We also tried the Sauna World facility on the top floor which was really nice with steam room, Finnish sauna, aroma sauna and infra sauna. Few facilities did not work unfortunately like the salt sauna or the Hellish sauna so sadly we could not try these. There were some hot tubs and pools with cold water as well.

A really nice place, with sunbeds free from charge. Beautifully maintaned garden, big trees give plenty of shadows to hide from the sun.

Very pleasant surroundings, a welcoming, beautiful park behind the facade, where you might not even expect anything special. It can get crowded though due to the limited space. The rooftop spa is a blast, but you need an extra ticket to the sauna world to enter. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but don’t get discouraged by the steep slopes you need to climb! Prices overall are very reasonable.
