We wanted to spend the afternoon in this pool as a family and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The complex itself is beautiful and offers many attractions, but there are some points of criticism. At first it said on the internet that admission was reduced from 4 p.m., but suddenly the entry to the pool only said from 5 p.m. In addition, the bathroom is very confusing and it is difficult to find your way around the showers, toilets and changing rooms. It's also a shame that you can't pay with cash in the bathroom, only with a card or by exchanging your money for coins/other currency.

Nice bathroom outside of the center. Parking is easy. Large green areas with old trees. 3 pools available including slides for children, baby/toddler pool. There is also a large playground. There are also several kiosks. Perfect during the week, but the pools can get crowded on the weekend. 2 adults / 2 children 7,600Ft on weekends, 1 adult / 2 children 4,400Ft during the week.

Római is smaller and less crowded than the other more popular pools downtown Budapest, so if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing spa day, it's a great choice. It has water slides, a sauna, a 2-3m deep pool (which is often empty) with 3 lanes, and a big public pool. With student discount, entrance ticket is 6 euros.

The Christmas figures on display were beautiful, everything was well done. Practical use of the beach in winter...

Atmosphere and pools are nice. Cuisine are nearly good so you can find lots of foods and drinks. Toilets must be cleaned properly because some of them do not seem so nice.

Since it is cold now, they have used the area to create a wonderful fairytale world.

It is a Lido or Badi or strand in Budapest, but not more than average for the price. The entry fee was around 10 EUR and for that it is a super small and crowded place. The grounds are well maintained, at least that is good (there is WC included in the entry fee, for example). The pools are nice, but the guests are using them as savages. I'm sorry, but that's what it is. For the "swimming" pool of 33m length, adults jump in as they please not leaving much room for those who really would like to swim. There is a life guard and they try to maintain order, but many times it is for nothing. The food parlour is simple, sadly over priced for the quality of food one can get. I can only say, go there if you don't have other options on a super hot day. Otherwise even the stretch along the Danube where one can cool down only the feet, can be an equally good option on hot days.

Great price for a place like this. Well maintained with a nice atmosphere. They have 3 pools, one for kids only and slides. It is family friendly. Decent places to eat as well. I would however recommend to visit when the sun is strong, otherwise, the water can feel a little cold.

Our first visit to this outdoor pool. Really spacious site with quite a few pools. Only really sampled the children's pool, but that was well shaded, clean and had slides, fountains etc to keep the kids entertained. It was a hot Saturday in August, so unsurprisingly the pools were very busy, but the grounds are so big we found a comfortable spot with some shade not far from the playground as a base. Food wasn't bad quality, fastfood and good selection of ice cream flavours. Only complaint was that there didn't appear to be any actual changing rooms (unless they were just really badly signposted). Also very little parking, so had to park in a nearby street and walk. Book online to avoid the queues.

The Christmas Lumina Park exhibition was beautiful. A path leads to the light decorations, which are sometimes scattered, sometimes quite close to each other. The pools were nicely used for the exhibition.

Nice atmosphere easy to spend a day here. Only issue if you would like to eat anything healthy. Forget it.

Nice kids pool. Plenty of slide, swimming lane for adults, shade and green area. Of course it's a bit expensive in high season and difficult to park. I recommend go by bike or park few streets further.

HIGHLIGHTS: The water park has three distinct pool areas: • a very shallow one for infants/toddlers (which lots of slides and play features), • a main one with several connected areas of varying depths (adults can stand throughout), • and one for “serious” lap swimming. WHY WE LOVE IT: All pool areas are ringed by clusters of tall trees, so you can (but don’t have to) swim in the shade, which is perfect for those hottest, high-UV days. Minor LET-DOWN: The three tallest slides (yellow, purple, blue) have a strictly enforced minimum shoulder (!) height of 120 cm (47 in), which was quite the disappointment for our 130 cm-tall 9-year-old. The wide kids slide (minimum should height: 90 cm/35 in) is still fun. ADMISSION: DO buy your tickets online. Not only will you save a bit of money (between 5 and 10%), but, more importantly, you’ll get to skip the line at the admissions kiosk. Just walk up to the turnstile and scan your online ticket’s QR code. (A staffer might approach you after the turnstile and give a wristband, which serves as your proof of admission.) PARKING: DON’T fret it. Just follow Google Maps directions to the pool, then continue for another 100 m (300 ft) or so past the main entrance to a clearly signed huge free grassy parking lot for pool visitors. CASH: Leave it at home or in your car. All payments are cashless. (Non-Russian) Visa and Mastercard credit cards work flawlessly. FOOD: All the local and most Western favorites are available, incl. lángos, palacsinta, all sorts of fried fish, kolbász, chicken, burgers, etc. Lángos is only available at the less obvious, smaller food kiosk near the lap pool. It’s excellent and (supposedly) award-winning. Sült kolbász (a unique Hungarian type of bratwurst) was excellent, too. DIVERSITY: Most pool goers are Hungarians, but you’ll hear other languages occasionally. The pool appears to be LGBTQ-friendly 🏳️‍🌈, which is always nice to see in a country with such a homophobic national government. (Budapest isn’t representative of the ruling national party, but still.)

My recommendation is that you check the prices of the food you buy, they have some prices in their display window and then they charge you more, especially if you are a foreigner, it is typical in some businesses in Budapest and a very bad sign for visitors. The place is called Universal Event Kft. Also very bad food.

Friendly and active staff. Even though it's smaller complex - one swimming "colder" pool and one relaxing "warmer" pool with few attractions + slides, for 6€/DAY, it's a great option. Enviroment around is welcoming and silent - close to the main road and suburbs. 10/10

Nice place. We liked kids slides a lot. But there is not enough shadow places. Almost everything is under the sun. Plus, they have a pool bar 😁 so, generally recommended

A fun place but that gets very crowdy a few hours after opening and then it's people on top of each other in the pools. You have a main adventure with some slides (from size 120cm at shoulders except the family slide), a small pool for toddlers, a pool for swimming and then some some installations and climbing structures for children. The slides are a bit old (and painful) but fun. There are multiple buffets, bars and snacks if you didn't bring anything with you.

Seperate line for online purchased tickets, had to queue up for 75 minutes to get in, 1 cashier handling these tickets, while serving other customers through a seperate window. No code reader, you have to read out loud the numbers on your ticket for them to type in. No toilet paper in the toilets. Absolutely outrageous
