This
was
the
third
and
last
car
we
will
rent
from
them.
We
were
given
a
2018
Toyota
Auris,
a
hybrid
with
158,921
km
on
the
odometer
and
paid
30,000
huf
to
drive
the
car
to
Italy
where
we
originally
planned
to
drive.
We
paid
5,000
huf
each
because
we
were
over
70
and
5,000
to
pick
up
the
car
at
the
airport.
With
insurance,
the
total
price
came
to
599,100
huf
for
21
days,
We
had
3
problems
with
the
car.
Within
3
days,
the
key
fob
failed
with
a
dead
battery.
Still
in
Budapest,
we
drove
back
to
the
rental
store
and
they
replaced
the
battery.
The
next
day,
the
right
front
tire
air
pressure
dropped
and
we
put
some
air
into
it.
Two
days
later,
the
same
thing
happened.
We
called
the
24
hour
hot
line
a
couple
of
times
and
no
one
answered.
Finally,
we
sent
them
an
email
and
they
asked
us
to
meet
them
at
the
store
and
they
will
replace
the
tires.
At
the
tire
shop,
they
tried
to
replace
the
current
tires
with
balding
summer
tires.
After
some
arguing,
they
found
4
used
tires
that,
not
balding
were
acceptable.
Time
to
plan
the
trip
to
Italy.
First,
we
decided
to
go
to
Lake
Belaton
for
a
couple
of
days.
On
the
way
to
Belaton,
the
right
front
wheel
was
making
a
horrible
noise
every
time
we
braked
or
turned
to
the
left.
It
sounded
like
brakes
or
bearings.
We
stopped
to
check
it
and
found
that
there
was
a
wire
that
was
hanging
on
the
struts
and
springs
(See
Photo).
This
wire
broke
and
was
rubbing
against
the
tire
creating
the
noise.
We
pulled
off
the
broken
wire
and
saw
there
was
one
wrapped
around
the
left
front
strut
and
spring.
We
never
saw
anything
like
this.
The
noise
stopped,
but
we
decided
that
there
was
no
way
we
would
take
this
car
out
of
Hungary
safely,
losing
30,000
huf.
