Finally I got the chance to visit my childhood heroes in front of the school that they have attended more than a century ago ☺. I am very pleased to realize one of my childhood dreams, nearly 40 years later, on 27.05.2016☺.

An old boot list is the place to find it. I came from the József körút and the corner of the school covered the sculptures, so it looked like the creator imagined, I had the feeling that the game was on. I can only recommend that you visit.

Very interesting statue. It's like time has frozen and we can see the boys playing.

A very good idea for reviving the characters from the book, which in my opinion is not only for school reading, but also for older generations. The only complaint is If you visit this street at night like Sam is. The street is very poorly lit.

"Boys of the Pauls street" is one of my favorite books from childhood and one of the main reasons why I wanted to visit Budapest. It's a nice place. There was, unfortunately, a lot of trash around the monument and this was a big minus.

If you're a visitor who is eager to learn about Hungarian culture and history, stop by this site, it's next to Corvin Plaza. You can take nice photos here and read about the story behind the sculpture (there is nothing in English at the site, so you have to Google it on your own).

Such a cute oddity that completes the long range of weird statues all over the city.

A novel which is an obligatory book in primary schools in whole Poland, and a story that every Polish kid knows and is very familiar with...It really made me drop some tears when, as an adult, I was able to see the sculpture of my little heroes from the time when I was 10 or 11 years old and could olny imagine the square located near Pal street, where the beautiful story takes place.

This monument is made as a remembrance for the heroes of the same named youth roman written by Ferenc Molnár. It's loved by so many generations up to now, so that older generations became also fans of it. The monument itself (two boys left to the entrance of the highschool and three other guys with their bags right from the door) looks simply awesome and unbelievably authentic - it's really worth to make a visit there in the neighborhood of the Corvin Plaza!

As a fan of the book, I shed a few tears when I went to visit the monument. I read the book in three different opportunities in life. If you are a fan, this is a must go!
