Vivina cafe was the first place we ate some food after landing in Hungary. We stumbled upon it by accident and were happy to find it. Especially since were very Hung(a)ry, get it? Hungary, hungry.. anyway😬. The staff was very friendly and the cafe looks cute 😌. We ordered two drinks, a cake and avocado toast. It was all very delicious 😌🌸 We definitely recommend visiting this cafe🐈‍⬛

HIGHLY UNDERRATED! BRILLIANT brekkie/brunch/vegan/egg white omelette/sourdough/staff/location/pricing! This seems like a local’s spot rather than one tourists would go to - which made it all the more appealing. After trying various cafes in Budapest particularly for coffee, most fell flat despite being “speciality”. Vivian Cafe serve legit speciality coffee from Ethiopia/Rwanda/South America. Their tiny cafe is filled with rug sacks of coffee beans from all over the world. Don’t miss their batch brew, we ended up doubling our order - it takes a few minutes longer, as it should. If you’re a coffee snob, you’ll appreciate this cafe. They’re super accommodating of dietary restrictions too — although an egg white omelette/scramble isn’t on the menu, they made a fantastic one for me, with grilled veggies. The oat meal is to die for - ultimate comfort food & that dollop of espresso paste on top took us to heaven! The owners and the chefs are incredibly nice, genuine, and go to lengths to ensure you get fed what you want. The cafe is tucked away in a very charming neighbourhood with old buildings, specially lovely for a weekend morning cuz it makes everything slow & east rather than buzzing/noisy/busy. I can’t praise this cafe and quality of coffee & food enough! This is a place with fewer reviews but of highest quality. Go for it, support them & enjoy the meal!

Marvelous place in Budapest. Staff is really nice and helpfull. Good atmosphere, with lot of multicultural clients. I tried the traditional babka and loved it, also the latte was really good. My friends had the omelet and loved it also. We had just arrived, and choose this place for our first brunch, and we weren't disappointed

Great place. Super nice people that have this place and work in. Helpful and make you choose the best. Great pistacchio cake and hummus sandwich. Coffee is super tasty! Value for the money really good. Good location, not in the strict center and really nice designed place.

A good place to brainstorm about a novel idea or just have a pesceful hour with a mug of hot beverage and a sweet dessert. Also, it is not a bad place to do some studying, coding or an assignment. 👩‍💻

Best cafe, the location is quiet but so beautiful! The owners are very nice and even provided blankets for us to cuddle up while sitting outside! We loved everything we tried you should definitely visit

Cozy place with the nicest owners. They roast, grind their own Coffee, and what they serve is always high quality. Top speciality Coffee place in the city, and they sometimes came up with special Coffee Based drinks as well. Besides that, they have a great variety of cakes, sandwiches, baked goods (also vegan versions).

A perfect place for a brunch or an afternoon coffee. They serve speciality coffee, and all ingredients of the dishes are quality. The service is kind and welcoming. Take a seat at the terrace if possible, and enjoy the city center

Wow! We coincidentally found this beautiful cafe and came back on our last day. The coffee is extremely good, the food tastes amazing and is very creatively composed. The service was perfect at all times, they even recognised us and remembered what we had a couple of days earlier. Very yummie 😊

Great specialty coffee and Service. We ordered shakshuka and miso vegetables toast. Sadly the shakshuka eggs were undercooked, but the bread was really good. It could have been even better if it was toasted. The toast vegetables were also undercooked and still a bit hard, also the nuts were in big pieces.

Great coffee options (V60, vegan milk available, roasted in-house), vegan/healthy breakfast menu options and super friendly owner. Highly recommend

The food is delicious and pretty cheap, the place is clam and has a really nice terrace. The waiter is so nice and speaks perfect english. The chocolate babka is just AMAZING.

A cute, small breakfast caffe with variety of options. 🍳 We ordered: Egg omellete - 9/10 ( the sausage was a bit weird, but maybe it is just out taste buds) Shakshuka - 7/10 (the eggs were really raw, not sure if they were supposed to be like that for this one. Overall taste of tomatoes etc. was satisfying 🙂✨) Unfortunately, chai latte was really bland .. wouldn’t take it again. For two meals and drinks we paid around 23€ (9000 huf) Atmosphere is friendly. There are two floors, therefore, it is possible to find a seating, but can be quite full in the day time. Game of luck, I suppose. 😄

I really enjoyed my breakfast at Vivina. The menu is various and offers vegan meal options. I tried the porridge and really liked it. Also the coffee is good and you can choose also oatly instead of cow milk. Will definitely come back and try other meals from the menu 🥰✨

Great and kind service. Coffee is originating from different places around the world. The taste of the coffee is one if the best I have tasted in my life. It is also possible to order breakfast, brunch or lunch. I will definitely return back.

We tried this restaurant on a pleasant Monday morning in November; eggs benedict and 3 egg omelette; americano and filter coffee. All the food was really amazing. The eggs benedict was perfect. And as for the filter coffee (a V60 brew), I’ve never had a coffee that tasted so much like the original coffee bean it was brewed from.

It’s clear what love and care is included in all food and interactions and what delicious food and amazing staff! Highly recommend, and will return during my next trip to Budapest!

I absolutely loved having brunch in this little gem of a place. Way to go VIVINA café team! The food was amazing: surprising shakshouka, perfectly cooked eggs benedict 🥰 Coffee is top notch - I had a cortado 👌 my husband's flat white was 💪 and my friends enjoyed foamy cappuccinos!

Been waiting to find the words to write about Vivina. ❤️ Their approach and love towards running this café makes me want to seriously consider starting a business one day. Everyone I’ve ever been served by was really kind and had a lot of knowledge to satisfy my curiosity about all the delicious things they have. Coffee, in seasonal flavours too with natural ingredients instead of syrups, kombucha, cakes… Their location is also lovely, in a very central spot in the former old town/downtown, but in a cosy quiet street. But the main thing is, their Brazilian espresso roast is the single best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. This is not just me being extra and saying this about all good coffee. It literally is. It has notes of hazelnut and milk chocolate and I had to order an espresso from it right after finishing my Americano, because I could not get enough of the taste. Even bought it for brewing at home, too. If you’re ever nearby, or even if not, definitely make a stop here to recharge. 😍✨☕️

Having spent a week in Budapest and tried various coffee shops, this was the best out of all of them. Coffee and cakes are amazing here, staff is very friendly and it’s really small and cute. 10/10 would visit every day.

Very cozy, but tiny cafe, friendly staff. Clean and very petite toilet. The only minus was poor quality of the Wi-Fi. Peaceful street, away from the crowd. Good place for a quick coffee break.

A small and nice place to enjoy various types of good coffee drinks. The kindness and professionalism of the staff is great. The location is very good as you can see on the map. The only drawback I can mention is the quality of the wireless internet.
