So glad we came here! It’s a small but cozy breakfast/brunch place! Really great service, friendly staff and amazing food! Especially the mushroom thyme (absolutely delicious)! Would definitely come back here. Thanks for having us !!

This is the best brunch place in Budapest! You get the menu and write down your name than you choose 3,5 or 7 plates with different food. (They bring your menu back with brunch so you can take it home) There is only around 20 seats available that’s why we went there when they opened. When we were leaving people were waiting in line. In my opinion it’s worth the wait. I would recommend this brunch place and I’m sure we’ll visit this place again.

On the menu, there are vegan alternatives, although some are also unmarked. There are more vegan options than what is listed on the menu, so ask the staff for additional information. I ate a bagel, grilled oyster mushrooms, grilled avocado, baked beans, and a forest fruit bowl with granola. The combination makes for a full meal or brunch despite the fact that all of the dishes are quite small. For a set fee, you can select between 3, 5, or 7 dishes; the 5 dish option offers the best value. Everything was delicious, especially the avocado cream and mushrooms!

Everything was delicious 👌👌👌. I loved the idea to combine your own plate with different smaller dishes. It’s a whole experience. It looked very esthetic and cool. It was bit pricey tho but still worth it.

we visited at 10am, didn't waited to sit but after us there was a line. good prices, tasty food. americano was too small amd cold brew was too watery but Orange juice was prefect, it was fresh squeezed. scrambled eggs was a bit cold, bacon was perfect. croissant was, you know, croissant.

A really cute brunch spot kind of tucked away off the main road! Expect a wait on weekends even if you get there right after opening. I liked the concept of writing down orders but it then didn’t leave much room for us to experience the actual service of the workers :) Really small cafe (hence the name😄) so don’t expect to dine here with a big group (more than 3/4 people) Overall good quality of food and I loved the customization aspect.

Sometimes there’s a line, cause the place can have around 12-14 people at once, I would say the waiting is around 15-20min for a table. The food was so good, the concept is cute. The service was perfect. Water you can get yourself, from the tap (see the picture). You can see in my photos what we ordered and what we got for the food part. For the drinks, we had a ginger-orange shot, orange juice and I think latte/cappuccino. The vegan options were delicious!

Really love the concept that you pick what you want, choice of 3, 5 and 7! I had scramble eggs , mushroom and oats, thats the perfect combination for me. Oatmeal with fruit is so tasty, I could have that everyday! Their coffee is also really good, they know how to froth the milk, silky and smooth! Definitely 5 stars, highly recommended 🥰

Cute interior and nice staff. In my opinion, their concept of marking your order is unique and sweet. You can order pretty much anything from the food section without hesitation but unfortunately not coffee(that’s why I gave 4 stars). Beware that the place is a bit tiny so in busy hours you may need to wait to sit down. But besides that it’s a very cute place and worth visiting again and again.

On the day of arrival we were looking for a good breakfast and chose this cafe. In general we were satisfied with the portions, the choice and the taste of dishes. Breakfast for two cost 24€ and the service was good) The only disadvantage was the small space , felt a little bit uncomfortable, but if you are not going to sit for a long time, it’s ok.

Amazing!! Good value for amazingly fresh dishes!! Cooked to perfection. Every element I chose on the menu was impressive. Go here, try to get there before noon for less of a wait. Friendly service and English menu. (P.S. Please add bag/purse hangers to the bar seating!!)

Perfect choice for breakfast and brunch! You can choose your plate with 3,5 or 7 smaller brawls with different choices. I recommend strongly the forest fruit smoothie and the mushrooms. Everything was delicious!

Pantry Brunch & Coffee is a hidden gem! This small and cosy cafe is a must-visit if you're looking for a delicious and healthy breakfast or brunch. The prices are amazingly cheap for what you get - I selected yogurt and granola, forest fruit smoothie bowl, and fresh fruit for only 2,750. The quality of the food was amazing and so healthy and good for you. I was so full and satisfied! I also had a flat white, and I must say, it was one of the top coffees I've had in Budapest based on size, quality, and presentation. The coffee was perfect and paired perfectly with my breakfast. Overall, Pantry Brunch & Coffee is one of the best cafes in the Jewish Quarter for breakfast and brunch. If you're looking for a tasty and affordable breakfast or brunch, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food and coffee are simply amazing. I highly recommend this cafe and can't wait to visit again!

Best breakfast and brunch place in Budapest! They have an interesting menu where you can add 3, 5 or 7 elements to make a combo depending on how hungry you are. The staff is nice and friendly, the food is excellent, the location is central, the place is cozy, the music is good. Everything here is damn perfect!

Definitely worth a visit! Friendly staff and excellent food freshly made from quality raw materials. You select 3, 5 or 7 dishes and drinks from a widely varied menu, and the food is “made-to-order” so its always fresh and hot/cold. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The only downside is that its small (16-20 places) so you may have to wait – But its worth it! We visited twice and it was a happy we vent back.

Beautiful cafe with decent prices. The food was tasty and the portions were enough. Orange juice was fresh. The only downsides were the coffees. Cold brew was like coffee flavored water and the americano was very small.

A beautiful and warm little place to have a brunch. Smartly decorated. Lovely to be able to see through the open kitchen how food is getting prepared. Very kind and friendly young staff. A good start for the day. Very reasonable prices. Food nicely presented and amazing taste.

Pantry is a very small restaurant that is almost like a hole in the wall however it was fantastic. I did have to wait for about thirty minutes to be seated dude to a large party taking up half of the seating, however it was well worth the wait. I tried the bacon, bread, cream cheese, homemade oats with yogurt, sunny side up egg and cold brew coffee and thought all of it was amazing.

  • 3/5 Anna E. 9 months ago on Google
It’s a charming place with nice staff, however it is a tiny place, so you might need to wait to get a table (reservation is not available). The food is tasty and there is also a great variety of vegetarian options, but the portions are relatively small. Unfortunately the beverages are quite overpriced compared to other places in the area.

There’s a queue to get inside, we waited about 20 mins. The idea of eating 5 different items for breakfast is a dream! Every dish was delicious and we loved our brunch here. Definitely very full afterwards. I highly recommend!!

The food is very good, and the fact that you can customize it is amazing. You can get any combination you want and each option is delicious. The coffee is also very good. The place is rather small so you might wait a bit if it's full, but we were lucky and only waited for like 5 minutes. Highly recommend it

Cozy place for late breakfast. Fast service and unusual way to take orders - you get menu on a piece of paper and have to write your name and choose 3, 5 or more dishes by ticking the box next to it. Only disadvantage is that place is really small, so when somebody opens the door you immediately can feel the cold air.

Loved Pantry! Super delicious and fresh food. Great coffee and juices as well. The concept of checking off what you want on a list is very cool and I would definitely recommend this spot! Favourite breakfast I had while in Budapest :)

This adorable little brunch spot is an absolute hidden gem! My boyfriend and I each had a coffee and ordered five dishes, each one was amazing! Our server was so sweet and I loved the cute modern but still small and cozy vibe here! They have very few tables so get there early for a good spot!!

Tinny brunch place in Discrict VII The idea of the place was very nice, giving people the opportunity to combine different ingredients for breakfast/brunch. Food was good, the free filtered water tap was good to have. Coffe was too bitter for my taste. The area of the bar was too small though, so people were sitted too close to each other. Also, you have to wait outside, a little bit uncomfy for Budapest winter. Overall the experience was on average, but i would not return.

Quality food deliciously prepared. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Budapest. Service was 10/10 as well. I don't have a single complaint. Loved it!

I really like their “build your own combo” menu set up. Glad I was able to get a seat at the bar on a busy weekend morning. Food was well done and beautifully presented. Over all a cute location with quality food.

Lovely concept and reasonable prices. I suggest you try their oatmeal, cinnamonroll and lemonade as they were outstanding for me. The rest is OK, but don't come here on an empty stomach hoping to get full. This place is more suitable for a light breakfast, snack or dinner.

I was really exited when I saw that they’re offering breakfast/brunch boxes, unfortunately the excitement only lasted until it was delivered. I order the 9 elements box with 2 poached eggs, 2 English muffins (homemade), 2 hash browns, 1 Tropical smoothie bowl, 1 cup of fresh fruit, avocado cream, cream cheese, and sausage. Poached eggs: tasted extremely sour, I assume the water they cooked them in had too much vinegar. English muffins: neither the texture nor the taste had anything to do with an English muffin. Hash browns: definitely from the day before. They were stale, hard, dry, and simply just heated up for a few. But for sure not freshly made! Avocado cream: too much lemon juice, again too sour Cream cheese: could use a pinch of salt Veggies included with the cream cheese and avocado cream: weren’t fresh either, carrots were dried out. If you wanna sell veggies from the day or two before, store them in water... just a tip, keeps them fresh and crunchy. The rest was fine. But the main products were a disappointment, especially for this price.

Super wonderful breakfast experience in a lovely cute shop. I have to admit that the porridge tasted exceptionally good. I also ordered a bowl of fresh salad 🥗 and fresh fruits along with orange 🍊 juice and everything was so fresh. The quality of the service was also very good and I loved the way food was presented. I highly recommend this place to anyone for a breakfast or brunch. Will surely visit again next time I visit Budapest.

Best breakfast I’ve had on my trip. Unique style (you’ll see it). I recommend scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, thyme mushrooms, the salad and the croissant. OJ for fresh juice and the best cappuccino you’ll have!

I dream about the brunch feast often! 🤤 Really sweet spot with tasty food and even better coffee! Quite affordable for the amount of food you get. Service is fast and good and is in a good location. 10/10 recommend for a quick brunch/breakfast while in Budapest. Keep up the great work guys.

A small but cute place for great brunch in Budapest. A café where you have your own form and you can choose a lot of delicious food. Service was nice too. It was a great start of my day.

  • 4/5 Marina A. 2 years ago on Google
I really enjoyed my breakfast. The quality of food was excellent. You can choose your own combination of you want and that's great. From the other side the portions are a little bit too small for their high price.

  • 5/5 Daniel T. 2 years ago on Google
Supposedly one of the best breakfast or brunch places in Budapest. Certainly in this area of the city. The place is small and cozy, and has very good quality food. On top: it’s clean and the staff is super friendly and competent. You will find something for vegans as well as dairy alternatives. Coffee is great, and they have a daily change of roast. Try the ginger shot!

  • 5/5 Mine C. 2 years ago on Google
Delicious food, you make your own menu. Balanced food quality and price. Opens quite early relative to other places. Small space which fills up pretty quick. Fast service, great coffee as well.

  • 3/5 Bianca I. 2 years ago on Google
The food, coffee and the personnel were nice. However, there was a long wait of 1h to get inside, and the tables were very squeezed and close to each other (especially bad during the pandemic). I would not recommend going if you want a relaxing brunch.

  • 5/5 Aljoscha 2 years ago on Google
Excellent brunch, letting you pick and choose your own breakfast. So you can either make something healthy and balanced...or pick five servings of bacon and nothing else because why not. Food is fresh and tasty, juice freshly squeezed and coffee very good. I recommend the smoothie bowl and orange juice.

Small place with great idea of ticking iteans for the menu. Croissants are freshly baked and 100% buttery! Nice menu selection, helpful staff, free filtered water. Will return!

  • 4/5 Rami Z. 1 year ago on Google
A tiny place with great food. The entire place has not more than 20 seats, so many chances it will be full. It took them 45 minutes to prepare breakfast for 5 people, there is no air-conditioning and the coffee was not great, and the only Cola they have is the German Fritz cola. However, once the food arrived , it was served beautifully and very tasty. Mushroom portion was especially good, but really everything was tasty
