It's a very nice place. The owner Sayd was so friendly and kind. They give us free mango, and he bring us to railway station on his motorbike, because at that moment we couldn't find any taxi. Also he make us free coffee and give two raincoats. The room was clean and very comfortable. There is a toilet paper!!! It's important for European travellers and very rare in India. Also the hotel is very near from Mahabodji Temple, so the location is very good. I really recommend to stay at this hotel. I have been in 7 cities in India and this is the best, and also not expensive. The WiFi is working on the room, and there was a hot water in the low season (July). It's a beautiful hotel fully adapted to foreign travellers. This is uncommon for India and we really like it. On the photo my bride is drinking the delicious coffee from owner.

The owner of the hotel is a very kind and nice man, the women who met us were very nice too. Our room was clean, the sheets and pillows were spotless, there was hot water and toiletries in the shower, I asked for a hairdryer and they gave it to me, at the end we were treated to a mango and helped to get there to the station They have really fast wi fi, and the most beautiful attractions nearby So if I could I would rate this place for 10/5 ^_^

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED! Our stay was ways above any expectation, almost sure to find a situation not corresponding to the pictures, as always happens, we found instead all as it is shown, plus amenities in the bathroom and mineral water in the room. But apart from the most comfortable bed, we found the best hosts who took great care of us and our needs. Breakfast is not included, but give it a try, you won't regret the surprise!

Very professional service from interaction to facilities available. Rooms looked new and everything was well functioning - lights, fan, ac, etc. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. There was also a bathroom slipper, which most hotel do not provide. Breakfast was very good.

This homestay so far was the best one that I had in India. I would say the best one I had in all these years traveling. Rajhat organized everything for me and made me fell home. The homestay has the standards of Europe, clean, organized and quite. Also the best point is the location: 3 minutes of the most important place in Budhgaya. Also Rajhat did a tour with me around the city to recommend some cafes and restaurants!

RAJHAT MARANAO provided an excellent stay for my 3 nights in BodhGaya. The room was sparkling clean, and the location walkable to the MahaBodhi Main Temple. The breakfast was huge, with everything I could want: fresh Tibetan bread, omelet, 3 x fresh fruit for a very reasonable price and nice strong coffee. Also good wifi and a warm welcome late at night. One of my best stays in India (clean, safe, good wifi, good breakfast!) Excellent value!

Best Place tb stay in Bodhgaya, very clean and clear place, Mahabodhi Temple is in just five minutes walking, all famous restaurant are in foot step, auto rickshaw & taxi stand are in front of the children park. Overall best place to stay with family and friends, I recommend......

RAJHAT MARANAO is a great place to stay for anyone visiting Bodhgaya! It’s very close to the Mahabodhi Temple, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He even helped to arrange transportation for my activities at rates that were much cheaper than I would’ve found on my own (especially as a foreigner). I am very grateful that I stayed there, and I highly recommend it!! :)

I was lucky to stay in this very nice place in Bodh Gaya. The place is very close to Mahaboddhi Temple. Clean and comfortable. Host is willing to help and interesting to talk to. Hope to come again and stay there next time.

Really lovely owner and location. The guest house is only a short walk to the Mahabodhi Temple but in a location that does not feel super busy. The room was very clean and comfortable, with heating and AC, which is quite rare in a lot of the Bodhgaya guest houses. The owner and family members were exceedingly kind and hospitable. At the time I visited, the hot water was only lukewarm, but that was ok. The bathroom was clean. The wifi was intermittent (at no fault of the guesthouse), but I was offered a SIM card to compensate, which was a lovely gesture. So grateful for my stay!

Stayed at RAJHAT Marano for 3 nights in 3rd week of Jan. this is an amazing place for a budget hotel. Full stars for following; 1. The host Osama and have never witnessed such warm welcome and hospitality. 2. Location. Just 300 metres from Mahabodhi temple (3-4 minutes walk) . All essential needs are within 500 metres maximum. 3. The rich interiors and tiling in the premises. Top notch marble 4. Bathroom fittings and cleanliness are very good with all basic toiletries 5. 2 bottles of mineral water 6. A well functioning heater in the room. 7. Most importantly the owner (Mr. Osama stays in the ground floor and is always accessible. He attends to any niggling issues immediately or gives alternative solution. I will not forget this trip for the 2 times he bailed me out with my logistics (which only a perfect gentleman or a known person does) 8. If there is any negative then it is the 50 metres approach to the building. But overall. Close your eyes and choose this guest house when visiting Bodh gaya. You will not regret your choice. The absolute best option for a stay in Bodhgaya. The hotel owner was extremely generous, kind, and hospitable, and went out of his way to accomodate our late check-in and check-out after delayed trains. The room was very clean and well-stocked. We took a delicious, nutrious, healthy breakfast, and were allowed a late check-in. Cold water filter. Overall our best accomodation in India.

The location is only a 5 min walk to the temple. All attractions are winthin walking distance. The owner is warm-hearted. He offered us a free of charge late check out as long as we wish until flight time! The house is sparkly clean and smell nicely. The room is a bit small for 2 but no big deal. Overall the experience is great!

This place is a really good budget Guesthouse, benefit on cost is good. Good breakfast, room is in good condition, toilet is clean, the owner is a best thing of this Guesthouse, he is nice, generous, and really supportive. If you come here with airplane, just call him, he will arrange a taxi for you with reasonable price, better than what the cab driver inside airport offer you. If you dont know where to go in here, ask him and he will help you arrange tour guild and car with reasonable price also. I am feel lucky that i choose this place for my trip in India.

It was a short at this hotel. Since it was booked over phone, a welcome drink was offered. Ambiance was excellent. Shining floor, look like very new and well maintained. Location was so nice. No need for hiring a taxi from here because this hotel location was so good. We visited all country’s temple on foot only. Had evening snacks was very tasty. I must say about dinner, this hotel surely has an excellent cook. Veg food was excellent and price was also reasonable. Everything we had in our room only, but the professionalism they shown was superb. The missing thing was greeneries. This is more than value for money as a budget hotel.

Beautiful building set in calm peaceful property. The staff are very polite and welcoming. Air condition and Wifi are very strong. The food was amazing. Situated in the center, walking distance from Mahabodhi Temple.

My stay at Rajhat Maranao House is the best experience of hospitality I have experienced in India. He is always on hand to help with any needs or wants you may have. The rooms are super clean, with comfy beds and thoughtful ambient lighting. There is also 24 hours hot water and excellent powered showers in the en suite rooms as well as fresh body and face towels. For the price, these features and facilities are a very generous luxury. The accommodation is just a few minutes from Mahabodhi Temple. Just perfect and exactly what I wanted and needed to help make my stay in Bodhgaya the best it could be. Nic
