👍👍 Truly a hidden gem! The food was simply yummy and tasted like a Korean Mom's cooking. Had the pork bulgogi and it came with 6 side dishes, soup, rice, fresh lettuce, garlic and green chilli. The owner and chef, Mr Vijay Lama was also very friendly. Chatted with him throughout dinner and learnt about... People often mention owner, Korean, restaurant,

A gem of a restaurant in the back of an alley. We found this restaurant on a blog and tried going several times but it always closed as the city was in festival. Fortunately, third time was the charm and we were so happy we persisted. The bibimbap was really something else, with probably some of the best kimchi I’ve ever had. The owner is also incredibly kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

Quite delicious. However, the Boss seemed unhappy that we only order 1 set for two person (900 ruppe & 1 person not so fancy of the korean food). P.s. go dinner only not lunch, otherwise you need go to Toilette (both of us).

This place was closed as we arrived so the owner invited us in to join him for a drink, happily obliged. Drank maybe 2/3 of a bottle of beer each (two of us), and new people kept joining us for a drink. We thought we were experiencing great hospitality, we bought and shared drinks from the local off license with those gathered. As we were leaving the owner tried to charge us 8000 rupees for the drinks all of his friends had drank and we had neither ordered nor consumed. Eventually we paid 3000 just to get out of there, a very expensive glass of beer indeed. Such a shame, what we had enjoyed as a real highlight of our trip having a drink with some locals turned almost instantly into a low-light of the holiday as the owner tried to scam us, because “you should pay, you are from rich country”.

This is a hidden gem in Thamel. It’s a small restaurant, hidden in the small alleys of Thamel. The owner runs this place with great passion and dedication. The food is pretty authentic and taste great. The owner gives great service and is happy to talk about the foods.

Best korean restaurant. Gives you small local korean restaurant vibes like the on you see in tv series. Best part about this place is the hospitality of owner and the way he talks. Down to earth and very humble.

Outstanding food and service - this was a culinary highlight of our trip to Nepal. The owner is passionate about his restaurant and his work, and is dedicated to satisfying his customers. Large servings, and rangē of dishes.

It's really an amazing place! It doesn't look very inviting from first, but once inside the man gives really everything he can. The food is fantastic! Really worth it!

We ordered pork phul kogi set & chicken bibimbap. It’s very good! The portion was generous, and the taste is authentic. Recommended if you want Korean food in Nepal.

I found the place by searching for a Korean restaurant near the area. Although the menu was less, the food was good, I tried the kimchi fried rice. I will also try eating here once again when I can.
