We had a stay at their Chavanni Tent opposite the lake for 3 nights here are my views on the entire stay: Reception: They have the most warm welcome and the process of check in and check out was smooth. Room: I do not know why some people have so many issues I felt the Chavanni Tent is the best room in the whole property. Restaurants: Pankit, Pooja (intern), Raj have been so good at the service the team in each restaurant in the property was so well co-ordinated. The food at the breakfast buffet has a vast variety and they make sure food is warm and filled in each container always. Housekeeping: Pankaj made sure the room was clean and beds were done always spotless. Over-all Property: I urge each blogger and vloggers to visit this hidden gem to make us Maharashtra's to more aware of the Heritage of such beautiful place which we don't know as much. Hope the property maintenins the quality and price much affordable always. Thank you Fort Jadhavgad, Orchid, Kamat for making our vacation so memorable. Pride of Maharashtra

I was here over the weekend with my family. The property is huge and gorgeous. The management has wonderfully transformed this 17th century fort into a contemporary 5-star hotel, while keeping its original heritage intact. Service, food, amenities and the location are excellent. Staff is attentive, courteous and polite. Lot of activities for adults and kids. They also have an in-house museum. Highly recommend the audio tour. Would definitely be visiting again.

The place is so so good. They welcomed the guest in a Royal way. The Fort was well maintained. The food was worth the price. And try to go there on Saturday and Sunday because there is a man whose flute sounds very well. there is also a Audio tour explaining how and what was happened to this Fort in the past there are 24 checkpoints to go and listen to the audio. Adventure games are also there. Archery, cycling, gun shooting, cricket, football, racket. I will give this place a full of stars.

Very poor customer care. So Many gaps in communication. They could not even decide on one price for the buffet lunch. One person said 1200, another said 1500. Took us 1 hour just to be able to get info and pay for our day package. The premises are poorly maintained and desperately need renovation. There was a bad smell in all the open spaces during our walking audio tour. Food for lunch buffet was good but limited menu. The museum is good. Would not recommend if you have senior citizens with you, too many stairs and uphill climbing which no one shared with us when we called in advance to fix our about packages.

Great experience. Enjoyed the lovely periodic setup of the resort. Food at the restaurant was the only chunk in the otherwise very well setup resort experience. Dinner was pretty ordinary, given the exorbitant prices they charge food and service was mediocre to say the least .(An average curry is at 700+taxes)

Maharashtra's first (and only yet) heritage hotel. Very near from Pune. Great ambience, hospitality and activities. Food is good quality as well, but not very flavorful. Typical 4 star hotel food. Highly recommend the audio tour of the fort and resort to explore the expansive property. Special mention for the amazing swimming pool and a short trek on a hill right outside the resort. The resort is a bit overpriced but worth the unique experience. COVID protocols and good hygiene are followed. Suitable for families.

Rooms, overall Ambience is too nice. Well maintained. Nice variety of food. Staff is also good. The flute artist during lunch time was awesome, exceptionally talented. Very good experience in all.

Not a place for spending a whole day. No preparation to engage guests in the activities comfortably in this scorching summer. Audio tour is also not worth. Nothing for kids to get them engaged. There has to be some indoor area to assemble and play some fun games comfortably beating this Pune summers. May be during monsoon it would be a good place just to have lunch and view around but for summers I would not recommend even to go for lunch or dinner. There is a pool but there also diving is not allowed. If you are looking to have a good time with a group or family plan then prefer some adventure or water parks in this weather.

Take a break from the hustle bustle of your hectic lives in the city and treat yourself to the calmness of rich Indian history and heritage at Fort Jadhavgadh. The property has retained the old world charm of the Fort and added the comfort and amenities of the modern world. I stayed here with my mother and we totally enjoyed our stay. Right from the sumptuous breakfast options, activities, audio tour of the place, the yummy and diverse menu, the relaxing spa by the poolside... everything was on point. The staff was polite and courteous, always ready to help. One day is not enough to immerse yourself in the experience so please book at least two nights.

Living in a fort is a completely different experience. It makes you feel like a royal and even though it is not so far from the City (Pune) it feels like it. The food and the service was outstanding. The only downside is that it's not suitable for old or people who find it difficult to climb and walk. There are no means to go up other than the huge stairs. So all in all a great experience, must visit once.🤟💯

Went for dining alone. They have options for day out picnic and stay too. Overall Nice place. Good food. Quite costly on pocket though. But you can enjoy with parents kids family. Lot of landscapes, a temple, quite some ground to sit at leisure, and walk around. The fort isn't quite big but very basic and nicely restored to make it a hotel cum restaurant. Overall, worth a visit. Don't miss the grand welcome and lush green serene surrounding!!

Not the most luxurious stay if you opt for the rooms. The tents however are beautiful and secluded. Be sure pack good footwear as the audio tour is lovely and that has you climb the whole fort.

The overall ambience is really good. The service is top class. However it is not at all child safe. Sharp edges and even the grills of the balcony are too wide. If you have kids u need to be extra careful. This is a fort hence doors are shorter, no sign boards or cushion padding provided. You will have a pleasant stay if u manage not to hit your head somewhere. Food is okay okay. The staff is very welcoming and humble. If u are planning to take a cab make arrangement for a cab on the way back as it is difficult ( depends on yojr luck) to get OLA or UBER.

One of the best heritage fort cum hotel to visit and stay over. It is a well maintained and immensely mesmerizing place. The rooms are spacious clean and hygienic to stay. Lots of adventure activities to do and there is a museum tour as well. The most memorable trip and a must visit place

Must visit place for people interested in forts and historic places. Fort ambience is well maintained with traditional & retro touch to all elements. Food & service is amazing. Hotel can add more activities on weekdays.

Rating it 4 since it is one of the only heritage forts converted to hotel nearby Pune. Location and view are amazing. Fort is small, only two restaurants available. One is complete buffet and other serves on a la carte. View from restaurants and royal tents are great. Sitting by the small lake you can bird watch and sip on your drinks/coffee. Food at restaurants wasn’t good Some tasted too salty some were undercooked. Bare minimum taste and highly expensive.

Overall it's an nice experience to visit Jadhavgadh Fort with Friends. It is a place to visit in group of people instead of couple. You can enjoy more in group. There are so many activities like rifle shooting, archery also you can play sports like cricket, football, valleyball in lawn. Place is well maintained and clean. Washroom are clean and hygienic. You can get to see the scenic beauty of nature. Also there is pool to spend quality time in. But they need to improve their food quality. It doesn't have great taste and also food was not baked properly and feels like stale food was served. Except food everything was nice to spend a day and enjoy with Friends/Family.

Good for a 1 night stay. Tent rooms are okiesh but hillside view rooms were good. Limited options for food but quality was very good though a little bit pricey The trek in the morning was fabulous and the guide was knowledgeable and explained things very nicely

Nice place to spend a day-out here. It is a modern + historic look. A huge space for all ages to hangout within nature. A bit away from City centre, but worth visiting.

Excellent service, good food and beautiful location with well maintained gardens. Only draw back I saw was there was no connectivity for mobiles in the rooms but out side it was available. No wifi, a big draw back. Swimming pool water is comfortable since it is heated up continuously. Spa is added uttraction.

An amazing place for a fun weekend coupled with a royal stay and good food. They have retained the original structure of the fort to build the rooms around it. It has a very well maintained, not to be missed MUSEUM... Would love to visit again

Historical replica and ambiance are superb. It's worth staying and enjoying for a day or two. A Well organized audio tour and museum of historic collections is wonderful. Food is tasty with a variety. A word of advice : senior citizens or anyone with walking and climbing difficulties should avoid coming here.

Very nice place for one night stay. Enjoyed the stay and liked the traditional practices followed there. Room was comfortable and good. Extra activities were not there for weekday visitors. Breakfast buffet was very average though, not up to the mark.

The entire trip to Fort jadhavgadh was good. The experience was great the people have preserved the heritage of the place. The only draw back was while booking for the fort there website his hacked which is not mentioned anywhere so the number found there is a fraud where we lost our money while booking later on came to know it's a scam. When informed to the hotel they said informed to the higher authority can't do anything else

Fort JadhavGADH is a luxury fort hotel located very close to Pune. This hotel welcomes you with a grand carpet and people play music just for you as you enter. The rooms are nice and the food is incredible. The place itself is very clean and it feels like you are connected to nature when you are there because of the amazing greenery. Within this hotel there is a pool, park, etc. I would definitely recommend you to visit this hotel. They have kept historical things that you can see. There are also frequent events here. This hotel is so nice. Definitely good for a 2-3 trip.

Great place to visit at least once! You must pay visit to the museum to see the collection of antiques and get amazed! Food was good and service was great! Staff was polite and very helpful as they arranged for a wheelchair too for my granny. Property is huge and we'll maintained. Had a refreshing and memorable one day trip with family.

Great place with a heritage value. Resort has retained it's originality of the fort and history associated with it. I loved the way they welcome their guest on their arrival. I had an awesome experience staying there.

Courteous staff, clean, quiet rooms, enough activities for a 2 night stay. We engaged in the fort tour, swimming, pottery/mehendi and other non-chargeable activities. The pottery making was a bit of farce and they can try to make it a more elaborate experience. Word of caution: there are lots of steps involved to go to any activity from any room. I had my in-laws with me and felt a bit concerned about the constant up-and-down that MIL had to do especially since she had both knees operated. She seems fine but not all may be comfortable with this.

Rooms weren't as clean as expected. I could see spider webs and some other insect around. Service is good. Location is good too but the road from highway to hotel is bad especially for bikers. There is a lot of activities to pass your day and this hotel is perfect for family and couples to spend day.

This is the second visit to Fort, once with my family and again with corporate Activity. Didn't asked in hotel so I'm not going to review. *Place. They welcome with a trumpet. They have a clean maintained swimming pool(paid). Good place for half day outing, plan on weekday if you want to find peace. They have a big lawn, if you are planning to visit with group then you can play games. They have rifle and archery shooting each cost 250 if it's off package. Small games for kids like swing slide... Museum with audio tape that displays old tools, utensils, accessories that were used by the kings. *Food Food is expensive for the menu and taste. I recommend to try food on highway, you can find lot of restaurants.

Access road from Highway us in very bad condition. No or very little signboards displayed to reach to venue. Inside the fort, excellent maintenance. Scope for improvement for legible sign boards.

This hotel is made in real renovated fort. Great location for photoshoot. Available two restaurants and small pool. All guests welcomed in grand way and that's the most memorable part of my trip. The approaching road (1km) is in the worst condition and be ready for bumpy ride.

It is a decent property for one day stay. MOST IMPORTANT before booking is to check if they have any wedding / other function. The noise will ruin your vacation. Also it makes sense to enquire about their facilities before leaving so the stay can be planned properly. Not all is bad though. Their highlight is the temperature controlled swimming pool, if it is not booked for any function.

It was prestigious experience living in a heritage monument. We thouroughly enjoyed the pool within the fort. Food options within the resort are excellent!! We enjoyed everything from the grand reception to the tour of the fort to failing to lift a heavy stone. We were really happy that this historic monument has been preserved and open for us .

  • 5/5 shambhavi c. 2 years ago on Google
The fort is well maintained as it was handed to the hotel group, also the room had ancient touch to it which gave us a royal experience which we came for. Food was also of good quality and variety. They also arranged special cake for us for birthday as per our request. The kund was converted to swimming pool. It is indeed difficult to manage comfort while you maintain some ancient constructions. We totally enjoyed the stay. They have an audio tour through the fort which gave us more details of how and why they planned the fort in that specific way. Totally worth taking the tour. Note: Hotel not recommended for senior citizens as multiple stairs of ancient style make it difficult to navigate the fort although that cant be changed as that is what it takes to preserve the look of the fort and should not be modified for any reason. Overall a great experience
