A very beautiful temple, maintained well & always clean. Huge premises but after entering the main gate, it is often confusing due to lack of proper sign boards of entry & exit points at the temple. Also, no provision to provide sanitizer to devotees at the temple.

Loved this holly place, the temple is spacious with lots of greenery around it. There is big hall in the center of temple with ample place to sit and worship/ meditate. You have to follow dress code at this temple, no shorts or sleeve less clothes are allowed. Applicable for both males as well females.

One of the most Sacred, Holy and Beautiful place in the State. A place of Goddess Mahalasa is like a Heaven on the earth, located at Verna Goa. This place is recently developed by GSIDC ,Goa. Temple structure is designed very creatively and beautifully. Which stands at main attraction for the public. A huge structure with multiple Kalash placed perfectly on the top of every Garbhkud. Catches the eyes of the viewer. Rounded like domes are another attraction. Interior is huge and wonderful. Architecture is beautiful and enticing. Being spacious , it remains cool and peaceful inside. Some from the inside is Mesmerising and unique among the other temple structures in the state. Goddess idol Mahalasa Narayani is made of Black stone which is very charming and lovely. Devotees visiting here can feel the presence of God and make themself calm. A Miracleous place where one can sit quietly and do meditation for sometime. There is also other idols of God and goddesses. Goddess Sharada, Adi Shankaracharya, Bhairav, are to name few. Surrounding is created beautifully , a big beautiful Stambh, in front of temple (left side of goddess), a wonderful Garden consist of Ashwat Trees. Flower plants , grass and other. Temple Tali is also very beautiful. There is also primary school. Higher secondary inside the temple campus. A hall where statue of Swami Vivekananda is placed is very peaceful and generates positive and good spirited thoughts. There is also Havan Kaksh, Halls , canteen for the purpose of serving devotees and conducting or celebrating various festivals and rituals. A Big huge land of Goddess Mahalasa Narayani which every one must see atleast once is a life time and surrender themself to God. Do visit, get Blessed and feel the presence of Goddess, and try to practice Medition for sometime to make your Heart calm and Merciful. Be happy and Successful. Keep Goa Clean and Green.

The temple is built on very large property and has very beautiful infrastructure built. On left side of the entrance there is a washroom for the devotees. On the entrance there is no specific place to remove the footwares but devotees can keep on side away from the entrance. After entering on the gate the map of whole temple is displayed. There are benches under the shade of tree to sit for the devotees. Photography is not allowed unless the permission from the committee members. In the front of the temple there is a rain Harvesting lake built. There is also a school in the temple area. Overall very peaceful place to visit with friends and family.

Goa is famous for tourism and various temples of various Hindu Deities. Speciality of Goa Temples is total cleanliness and pure holiness. You will also not find any beggar outside any temple like other places in Maharashtra. Verna is a major Industrial Area in Goa. Shri Devi Mahalsa Temple is an old temple there. I understood that It's the place of origin of Devi Mahalsa. Couldn't check whether it is true or false but the temple is well renovated and maintained. Area of this temple is also huge like other temples at Goa. During the Portuguese era idol of Devi Mahalsa was shifted to Mhaddol Area where today we can take darshan of Devi Mahalsa. In fact today, Mhaddol Temple is like the main temple of Devi Mahalsa. This Verna temple is also duly renovated but it still has preserved it's own old charm and surrounding. There are other small temples in the vicinity of this temple. Entry is restricted to those who wear shorts, bermudas, mini skirts and or other similar outfits. This rule is almost everywhere in all the temples at Goa. You must visit this temple if you are at Goa and if you love visiting temples.

This temple is much bigger and more beautiful than many temples of Goa.Here you will find a picnic-like atmosphere.Special attention has been given to cleanliness from the inner parts of the temple to the exterior. In the temple premises, you can also perform auspicious work like marriage, which is fully arranged here. The special thing about this temple is that you must have seen the worship in every temple, but outside this temple, security personnel have also been installed

Both tourism and numerous temples dedicated to various Hindu Deities are well-known in Goa. Goa temples are known for their absolute purity and unadulterated sacredness. Additionally, unlike other locations in Maharashtra, there won't be a beggar outside any temple. A significant industrial area in Goa is Verna. There is an ancient temple called Shri Devi Mahalsa Temple. I realised that it is the location of Devi Mahalsa's birth. I was unable to confirm whether it is correct or otherwise, but the temple is kept clean and renovated. Like other temples in Goa, this particular one has an extensive area.

A place for the soul. A religious spot on the way to Panjim. The location stands out to me as a good meditation spot.

If any place can rightly claim to be the first place where the beloved Goddess Shri Mahalasa Narayani came to Goa, then it is Varenyapur, now known as Verna, in the southern part of the scenic coastal state of Goa. Lord vishnu took avtar of female called Mohini in this place. For centuries, there existed a temple dedicated to the Goddess, the female form of Lord Vishnu also known as Mohini, until it was razed to the ground by the Portuguese invaders in the year 1567 AD. This temple is 15km from Dabolim airport. Dress- Shorts not allowed for men as well as for female.

Extremely serene and beautiful temple. The calm and cleanliness is exemplary. The building is beautiful. The idols of Gods are very beautiful. The temple has a great history. The new temple was built in about 2007-2008 There is ample parking available. Washrooms are neat and clean and are located next to main entrance.

Beautiful Temple. Divine feeling. Cleanliness around the temple is really appreciable. As weekday Got the parking easily. Not many shops around this temple. We have reached there by afternoon , maybe because of that flower and other shops inside the temple area was closed. Good vibes, quiet, perfect for praying

Shri Mahalasa Narayani temple situated in Verna village in Salcette taluka, Goa in the southern part of the scenic coastal state of Goa. For centuries, there existed a temple dedicated to the Goddess, the female form of Lord Vishnu also known as Mohini, until it was razed to the ground by the Portuguese invaders in the year 1567 AD. The most popular temple of Supreme Mother Mahalasa is at Mardol in Goa, which is over 450 years old. The hindu temple has a big area with a pond.
