I came here to sort out a Mac issue back around February 2022. I witnessed this bizarre exchange and it has bothered me ever since. I could hear this whole conversation while waiting for my device to come back. An older couple came in here and the woman had had issues with storage on her iPhone or something like that, and her photos had been wiped or she was locked out of access. She explained this to the agent including that these were the last photos of her dead relative. I felt really bad for this poor woman as it sounded horrible. She wasn't being rude to staff, was polite. She said that the phone support agents told her to come to this store so she drove over an hour for this appointment. The staff member, a guy probably in his 30s, was really rude back and just saying "What do you want me to say" back in a weird insulting tone when she was asking for help. He didn't explain why they couldn't help or what the issue was. They didn't help her and the couple eventually left. Overhearing this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth, felt really bad for this woman.

I have all Apple products and have used the Genius bar from New York to San Francisco. I have an older Mac that has slowed down. I attempted to make an appointment to get help with that and some help setting up my new Mac pro but the rep gave me numerous reasons they couldn’t make an appointment. To top it off there were no customers in the store. #Faol

Didn’t wanna give me a replacement phone even tho I have insurance and I went to t mobile and they were so much nicer and got me a free iPhone cus of my insurance.

Apple State Street store.!! Highly recommend. For sure all the experience in Apple Store are incredible supportive to help find solutions to the possible need with their products. I love their classes, learning slowly how to use their tools this product offer. Also and amazing online supporting team. All of them are very nice.!

Had a Genius Bar appointment? I was there on time. The employees kept telling me that they would be with me in a minute in about 10 minutes went by and then they told me my appointment has been canceled because I was late and there was nothing they could do and they told me I could switch to a walk-in appointment but it would be 3 to 4 hours and I got the sense that they was felt good about what they were doing to me they could care less that it was their fault that it canceled

The associate who helped to confirm a question about the brightness of Apple Watch was being like a J**k, he didn’t say anything, just kept asking me what’s issue? What’s your concern ? What’s your problem? I was the one keep saying “ thank you” . The whole experience made me feel like I owed him or the Apple company. I’ve been visit so many Apple Store in the world, China , HONGKONG, Japan. This one is the worst , no wonder their review score is only 3.5, I know Apple wouldn’t care, but just a heads up to anyone wanna visit this one

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. The Santa Barbara team who took care of my iPhone purchase and MacBook pro were organized, upbeat, detailed, and efficient about my back-to-back appointments! I would give them 5 stars, but deduct one star because you have to make an appointment for everything. I'd like for them to bring back the old school walk-ins. Be prepared to spend an hour to buy a phone due to transfer and trade-in details.

I got there late because we couldn’t find parking so we were 15 min late and they made us wait 1 hour because I was late just for them to tell us we don’t have the parts to repair ur phone because supposedly the battery died I’ve had the phone less than a year u telling me the battery died already?? I’ve had so many problems with this phone I made that clear to them I told the guy I don’t want this phone it’s giving me so Many problems I have insurance I can’t get a replacement phone? He said no and I was like whatever I left to t mobile and they helped me they gave me free iPhone and said that phone came defective with close inspection they were so nice but that’s so embarrassing of apple.

Terrible phone service. Demonstrates an inept management . This is my 2nd attempt in 8 years to use this Apple Store. Supposedly this is a very slack time in the store yet a 25 minute hold on telephone is my experience. Unquestionable a very bad apple and all I want is an appointment.

No complaints. We went in without an appointment to get my other half's phone fixed. Within five minutes of walking in the store, her phone was rebooted and powered on, and a diagnostic test was in progress. Less than 10 minutes later a tech was talking with us and explaining how everything went. Great service, friendly and with no hassle. Granted it was mid week, but there was no wait.

Expensive as ever, but very nice layout with the usual Apple design flair. However.ita nothing compared to the Apple store in San Francisco and in New York.

My wife has had some issues with the recent iOS 16 upgrade and the staff were able to quickly correct the setting and get us on our way. Thanks Apple for your help

I've only been here twice. Once was for my son getting locked out of his iPhone. The man was rude to us for no reason, he seemed impatient and almost inconvenienced to help us. The second time was for my MacBook issue. They were polite but not very knowledgeable. I got better help at Mac mechanic

Super helpful team. Donovan helped me and my friend each get the perfect set up for an iPad. I’m a creative, so I have high standards when it comes to finding the right tools for my projects. Donovan was an attentive listener, and super knowledgeable. I was so excited to get my iPad and its accessories, and couldn’t have done it without this supportive team member. Seriously why so many questions and asking me for an ID to buy my products? These are $1100+ purchases can we just have less suspicious behavior for a customer?? A paying, customer.
