I had the pleasure of working with ELS La Verne in my last job experience. All I have to say is that all the staff is always willing to do their best to provide students with the best experience they can. I highly recommend them for their efforts to offer the best experience for students worldwide.

I just completed 6 months of studies at ELS La Verne. I decided to study abroad because my cousin recommended and encouraged me to study in the US. I specifically chose to come to ELS La Verne because safety was very important to me as this would be my first time to study aboard and La Verne is a very safe, suburban area. The university campus is a smaller size which makes me feel secure and everyone is friendly and greets you. The teachers and office staff were very welcoming and I felt comfortable to ask questions because they were always patient in listening and answering me. Even though I have transferred to college to pursue my education in Criminology, I still maintain a relationship with my American host family. My host mother was very kind and welcoming and she was able to help me get through some of the differences I experienced with American culture. I would recommend ELS La Verne to my friends and family because it has been an important part of my life. I was very focused on my studies and I was blessed that the instructors were patient and encouraged me throughout my language studies. If you have a strong determination to improve your English and are prepared and open minded, I would recommend studying abroad with ELS because this was a wonderful experience.

Here is one of the best place that I have ever been. I made a lot of friends here. Teachers are kind, patient and resourceful. The atmosphere made me feel comfortable. After I graduated, I became a mentor to help more new students until now. I still miss ELS sometimes. I love here.

ELS team is awesome, teachers are well trained, quite professionals and friendly. They go an extra mile needed to support the students and to make the experience as unique and an unforgettable one. Here is a place where everyone who is interested to learn English should go. Additionally, the city of La Verne is so well located, 1 hour from LA and local residents are so friendly that make us fell home. Wonderful place, any time of the year!

Students can look forward to meeting many Americans, have access to all campus facilities – truly living like a university student during their studies. This is really a fantastic language school to study English. I've been studying here for several months. Teachers here are patient, creative, energetic, humorous and have plenty of teaching experience. I learned a lot and met many new friends from different countries. I recommend ELS La Verne to students who want to study English. There are various activities and parties for you to both make friends and practice English~

La Verne is a good town to study, as there is literary nothing that can distract you. Language learning is not an exception. ELS La Verne is truly a good school because of great teachers. I had a great experience while studying at ELS of La Verne. All teachers were so kind and helpful. Although many students say that it is hard for them to graduate from there, I believe everyone can succeed as long as they can pay enough attention and work hard. The environment of English speaking also benefits students a lot.

It was so amazing when I studied in ELS of La Verne! All the teachers there are kind and friendly to each student whatever he comes from. Although I have more than ten years working experience, I learned a lot there like native speaking skills, American culture, and critical thinking. For example, I learned how to write or think in American way on reading and writing class taught by Nathan, who taught so clear, humor, especially understood what I was thinking about. So I understood the key points and rules about how to read and write in English! That was a nice memory time!

This is the best place for you to study and live. You know, so many helpful and kind teachers are there for you. You can spend a very impressive period in here. Especially teacher Rita, I think she is the most awesome teacher in this ELS. Not only kind , but also considerate to every student. She gave me her sweater to wear in one of her class, because I feel so cold and do not have a warm clothes with me. That’s so sweet. In addition, I promise her class is the most funny one and you will learn a lot.
