Be there 15mins before they open,it gets really crowded😊(Sunday's)..Food was 'manyaman'😊🤫I think the only downside is they automatically add 20%tip on top of our bill which is a big question mark,WHY?🤔I'm not complaining, but what if the service is so bad?do they still add the tip?☺️😁✌️

Hands down one of the best Filipino restos here in LA. Too bad there wasn't a band last night we went, but I guess the bands perform during Fridays. Anyways, this will give you the exact same ambiance of the Gerry's Grill back home in the Philippines but with bigger portions LOL NGL. All of the food came out quickly and hot. Super sarap and super busog!

My first time here and it did not disappoint. The food was homestyle Filipino food dishes that reminds you of Nanay’s cooking. (Of course Mom’s is always the best, but this will definitely suffice) A line may be happening outside in lunch rush, so be prepared to wait sometimes. Employees are kind and are Filipino as well. Caters to groups and are accessible for disabled. The portions are not as much but definitely try the inihaw na pusit! Food can be pricey though! $10-$30 ranges.

I was not happy with the way they treated us. There was a band and the band was great, but we were seated in the back, so I asked to be moved when a few tables opened up. They were not accommodating at all. They did not want to move us and did not even say why. I was very disappointed because I really felt like they were annoyed that we were asking to be moved. That's not how they should treat customers. But their food is good and the band that was playing at that time was great. It's just the customer service that sucked! Oh and hard to find parking because there are other establishments that use the parking area around the restaurant.

I am Filipino and I missed food from home. This is where you can find the authentic Filipino food there is in the US. The atmosphere reminds me of home. Family style dining and you can see in everyone's table the excitement when food is served: the excitement of that little but big taste of food especially made for you direct from the Philippines. When food is served it feels like a present like Christmas gifts to everyone. My husband and my picky child LOVED the food and even went there twice because of how good the food is! Amazing place!!!

Great comfort Filipino food and great music (they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays)! The crispy pata is so tender you wouldn't need a knife, the calamari is cooked to perfection, the sisig - pork and bangus both - done well, the kinilaw na tuna (think ceviche) is great, and the mango salad is delectable. And they have mango cart on tap - you can order by the glass, pitcher, or tower at great prices. Other items I recommend are the grilled squid and the kare-kare with crispy pork belly

My go to place whenever I’m in Cali. The food never disappoints. Service can be improved but the food taste somehow makes up for it.

Currently my top filipino joint. The food here is how i remembered growing up eating Filipino food. Absolutely delicious, from every bite and every sip. The sinigang shrimp’s sabaw (broth) was bitterly on point as it should.😋The sisig wasn’t way too crispy but chunkier just how I like it. The saltiness flavor on the fried bangus with some rice, is just perfect simple food imo. Nonetheless well done chefs. I will be eating here everytime I’m near a venue. Highly recommend.

Nice filipino food dishes. There are some dishes that are lacking in some areas. (Sisig) the dish is lacking in flavor but some people might like the mildness of the flavor but it does not have that distinct (sisig) flavor. Serving size for some food are small (crispy pata). Pansit bihon has alot of serving and has a mild bihon. My guess is that they do not use msg on their menu which make more of the flavor. (Probably because of the CA law). The soup is good and flavorfull. The karekare is ok but it does not have a meat in it just vegetable so if you are going to order it you can add other meat to it. They do not have a lot of servers but they do not have alot of customers the issue is that if we need something we have do waive multiple times to get anyones attention nor anyone checked in on us if we need anything or if everything is ok. This is adding that there was a mistake on the type of noodle will be. We did not complain as its already in there and its not a big issue to us. Attmosphere. We got there after the lunch 1-3 around that time and there are not alot of people the place is big and can feel like the philippines version of the place but just bigger.

First Filipino place I've been to that is actually a nice restaurant and not just a little mom-n-pop shop with a couple tables and a bunch of different dishes sitting under over a warmer or under a heat lamp. The food was great 👍 We started with lumpia, of course! Then I had the Bulalo. Ot was perfect! Definitely coming back to try some more! They have live music 🎶 too. And they said they'd be opening up their newly remodeled bar 🍸 area next week. Gotta check that out!

Everything always taste great, have been to Gerry’s several times. Yesterday, there was a girl working,, was not very nice to not only us but other customers. Had us wait 10 min for our table even though there were only three tables were occupied, talking, hanging out with her coworkers. She repeatedly would set a table for guests with water, when the ice melts is when, you would be seated, had to ask for everything needed for our meal, did not check in with any of us. Had to again ask for togo containers, the bill. Which you have choices of 18, 20 or 25% to give. She stands right there, pressing to give her a tip. I choose no tip. She is upset, comes back with the receipt and says there’s no tip on it, with an attitude .I was thinking of leaving a cash tip of my own choice amount, but when she announced you did not add a tip. I’m out of there. We started to leave, almost out the door, when she angrily confronts us were you unhappy with the service because you did not leave a tip, continues to argue why she did not get a tip. You know a tip is an option, a gesture that you went over and beyond your service, we did not see any of that, why should we pay extra for a bad attitude? It was just my husband and I, not a large group, there were only 5 tables occupied. I never write reviews, decided to write this one because I don’t want Gerry’s to lose business, take off high tip obligations, have servers walk away when bill comes, better attitude for your server. Most of all, a tip is an OPTION not a requirement.

What an amazing experience!!! The squid was grilled to perfection, the texture was just right. The Sinukba kilawin is to die for. The dessert presentation and ube ice cream with the turon Ala mode was good.

Was craving for filipino food and Gerry's Grill nailed it! We went there for lunch and it was a 15-20mins wait. Servers were quick and friendly. Right now, they have outside dining which is big enough to accommodate its patrons (and still maintain social distancing). FYI - They are renovating the restaurant so I'm sure when they fully open, it'll be more comfortable for the customers. We got crispy pata (love it!), bulalo, pork sisig and tortang talong. For dessert, we got buko pandan and lexhe flan. It was ok not the best though. Long line for the restroom - be prepared ladies! We'll definitely come back.

We get the fish Sisig same adobo sheds and mix them together with garlic fried rice... It makes for a unique Filipino food you can't get anywhere else. It is only outdoor seating right now and it gets pretty crowded on the weekends so we order to go and eat it across the parking lot by the fountain then get Cha2O for dessert.

Gerrys is always a good time. Good Filipino food. Good music. Friendly staff. Great family environment. I truly think this is one of the better Filipino food spots in Orange County and LA county are. There sisig is the real deal! Authentic and as close to what you’ll find in the Philippines. I will be back and I would expect to see anyone reading this there as well.

4 out 5 stars for my togo experience at Gerry’s, due to the ff: Bicol express was minced green bell pepper with coconut milk not close with rhe original bicolano recipe, chicken skewered taste less rhan expected, tony’s bbq is better value for money 12.99 3pcs versus gerry’s bbq @ 13.99 and the rest may worth trying again after like maybe 6mos or so,.

Family style Filipino food. You can't go wrong with the lechon kiwali or the lumpia shanghai. We also had the bistek Pinoy and the bicol express. Every dish was a hit. The service was good. No complaints at all. They are currently still utilizing tents in the parking lot. The tents are very large and they were able to seat large parties while still keeping everyone spread out.

Wife took me here for a surprise Birthday Dinner… Wow!! I want to go back!! Food was great, servers were helpful and the whole experience is worth returning for. Wife said Gerry’s has been the closest to getting the same Philippine ambiance, and she really felt at home. We stopped here before checking into our hotel for going to Disneyland California Adventure from Ventura County. Overall, Gerry’s is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! 🤙🏼🇵🇭🇺🇸🤙🏼
