Franco's
Italian
Restaurant
has
the
feel
of
a
small
family
business
and
the
warm,
friendly,
cozy
character
to
go
with
it.
Upon
entering
the
establishment,
you
are
greeted
with
a
welcoming
smile
as
you
are
lead
to
your
table.
Well
worn
chairs
and
tables
with
paper
tablecloths
are
indications
of
a
casual
family
atmosphere
and
great
Italian
food.
We
had
a
fairly
large
party
of
12
for
lunch
and
we
found
our
table,
already
set
and
waiting.
The
helpful
staff
brought
in
several
high
chairs
for
the
3
toddlers
in
our
party.
There
was
another
very
large
party
of
about
24-30
people
seated
across
from
us
in
the
room.
Unfortunately,
they
ordered
their
meals
first,
which
meant
that
we
had
to
wait
about
30
minutes
our
orders
were
taken.
The
staff
did
the
best
that
they
could
under
the
circumstances,
but
it
meant
a
rather
length
time,
about
an
hour,
before
we
were
actually
served
our
meal.
Eventually
the
server
came
to
our
table,
smiled
and
announced
the
specials.
Everyone
in
our
party
seemed
to
order
different
dishes.
I
ordered
the
Penne
Amatriciana.
The
sauce
was
wonderful,
the
penne
cooked
perfectly
and
the
sausage
was
delicious.
The
dish
was
described
to
contain
bacon,
but
I
honestly
couldn't
find
any
in
my
plate.
It
still
tasted
fantastic,
but
it
had
me
wondering
if
the
bacon
was
little
crumbs,
just
mixed
in
there
somewhere.
The
rest
of
the
party
all
enjoyed
their
meals
as
well
and
said
the
food
was
delicious.
Service
was
good,
as
they
came
by
often
to
refill
our
water
glasses.
I'm
not
sure
if
they
refill
the
bread
baskets,
but
the
ones
at
our
table
were
empty
and
we
did
not
receive
more.
After
we
finished
our
meals,
the
staff
quickly
removed
the
plates
from
our
table
and
provided
dessert
menus.
We
ordered
lots
of
cannolis
and
spumoni
ice
cream.
The
cannolis
were
delicious.
I
plan
to
revisit
Franco's
and
give
them
another
try.
The
food
is
great
and
the
staff
is
awesome.
I
just
hope
my
next
visit
will
not
entail
such
another
large
party.
