A hidden gem if you ask me. Tapas are generously and well seasoned for the purpose of alcohol consumption. The sushi options are unique and special. Sake and shochu options are authentically Japanese and really quite divine. Things you generally wouldn’t find in regular Japanese restaurants. The vibe was chill and homey. Reservation is required as the space is intimate. It’s a special place.

Amazing Japanese izakaya! Small little restaurant with not a huge selection, but everything we tried was delicious (we ordered about 15 items). Favorites were the Japanese yam fries, yellowtail belly sushi, and mini unagi bowl. The sake selection was also great - we got the noble arrow, which was smooth and wonderful. Yuzu chu-hai was great as well, but I'd avoid the lemon chu-hai.

Great food. Chef loves his job. This is not the place if you’re in a rush or have to be someplace afterward. It seems like it’s mostly a 1 man operation in terms of the food preparation, so go if you’re into taking your time and enjoying the food. Sake flight (they have 2 choices) are a great way to try different sakes. Food varies from izakaya style plates to sushi, unfortunately no omakase due to being only him preparing the plates.

I stopped by on a whim, with no reservations because I was in the mood for.cold sake. Three Omakase Sake Tasting flights, all personally curated for me by the staff and they were all delicious. I ended up buying three bottles. I also had some sushi and sashimi and it was all fantastic. Staff is super nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is a Sake bar (seasonally curated, one of the best selections in Los Angeles) with incredible food served in perfect portions to taste or share. The food menu options are traditional, modern and friendly for all eaters. The Sake menu is crafted with each individual bottle defined. If looking for a quaint gem I recommend making a reservation.

Went there for the first time and I must say this place is the real thing. Authentic Japanese sushi. Top quality fresh fish prepared to perfection. Sorry no pictures this time I was too busy enjoying the food. What a great find. I will definitely be back.

This place is hands down the best most authentic Japanese food you can get around here. It is small so it is a very personal experience. The service is great they are very knowledgeable about the menu and can recommend very good sake to you. I have been here many times and I have never been disappointed! My hat is off to the chef and his great staff! Come here you will not regret it! Had to update this it’s still fantastic and just as good during covid!!! Seriously appreciate all the staff here being so kind and attentive!

This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a Korean market plaza. Kudos to the team for creating such an amazing ambiance and oh so delicious food. Omakase here is unique and always amazing. They also have rare selections of sake you typically don't see at most Japanese restaurants.

Best Japanese food in the valley by far. It has everything from super fresh Japanese uni sushi to black sesame tofu. I recommend the omakase cuz you get a wide variety of dishes with small portions thats chef choice so you never know what you will get. They will keep bringing plates out until you tell them to stop. I've been there 4 times and still haven't got a repeat dish. It's a small cozy restaurant with jazz music playing in the background. Only about 8 tables of 2. So you kno you're going to get really detailed dishes with multiple components. Make sure to make a reservation cuz no walk ins. A great place to spend good company and eat some excellent food. Also make sure to order multiple sake flights. Each from different parts and flavors of Japan. Above all, the customer service is what really stands out. The care and attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant service is clearly evident. It's rare to see a Japanese restaurant with actual Japanese people working in it. Like I said in the beginning, the best Japanese food in the valley, no other place comes close to it's high standard
