We were here as a party of 7, and to celebrate a friend’s engagement lunch. Overall verdict: Average Indian restaurant with decent food. Nothing overly impressed us but there was nothing that was worth complaining. All of had a mango lassi each and that tasted really good. And everyone liked it. We had the vegetable pakora, onion baji, aloo tikki and gobi 65 for starters. The tikki was good, pakora could have cooked better as it felt like the besan ( chickpea flour) was slightly on the raw side in a couple of pieces. For the main course, we had Navratna korma, mutter paneer, malai kofta and dal tadka, along with garlic naan. They also serve rice along with the entrées. The dal was very well made, spiced well and not oily and was my favorite dish among everything. The naan could have been better, definitely didn’t seem very garlicky and was a little bit rubbery too. Definitely a place to go to if you’re in the area. I’d not go out of my way to be here.

Recently I visited India Palace for lunch. If you’re craving for some delicious Indian food then you should definitely try them. Absolutely loved all the dishes we tried here. Paneer tikka Masala and Vegetable Biryani is a must try here. Overall experience was amazing. Highly recommended.

Good food, quantity, quality and service meets the price. One of the finest restaurants in town with clean service, good quality food. Went there after a visit to San Diego Zoo. We were people of three bought One shrimp biriyani ' medium spicy' , lamb biriyani 'med-rare spicy' and a vegetarian biriyani. Taste was really good. Quantity was plenty that we had enough to take home. Bill came up to only of $70 for 3 people including a 10$ tip. Place is kept clean, restrooms are also kept clean.

Great food. Very authentic Punjabi cuisine. Papad, fish pakoda, aloo paratha, yellow daal, Poori, and mango lassi reminded me of home. I would avoid gobbi 65, too much flour on it. Paneer butter masala was soft and creamy. Public parking garage right in front. Not busy on a Sunday night.

Masala sauce is amazing! The food is good quality. Mixed pickle so salty. A lot of take out. Not a busy restaurant on Friday night. Nice urban chic environment immersed in Indian pop culture.

Ordered matar paneer and dal makhani from veg options. Matar paneer was good while Dal Makhani wasn’t too good. Had less salt in their food. My friends loved their non-veg options. Garlic naan was good. Aloo tikki was delicious and different. Pista kulfi and ras malai were amazingg!! Their service is little slow though. The ambience and vibe was really good, they played punjabi songs. All in all, it was a good experience.

Amazing place, very authentic! Very nice and welcoming service. Everything we had was great. My bf and I just love this place we have been there a few times and never disappointed. Every time we go there we get delicious authentic Indian cuisine. Extremely recommended! I had the butter chicken masala, and he had the lamb curry (don’t remember which one) and the fried naan in ghee. I also had a mango yogurt drink which in my opinion was great.

Very nice place. It's airy and pleasant. The food is good -- standard Indian dishes for American diners, but well-executed. Someone here seems to have a thing for Drake...

A Good Indian restaurant in its taste and Ambience. Had a great dine in experience. Paneer Tikka masala was yum 😋. Go for Mango lassi instead of juice 😊. Biriyani was also tasty (we ordered medium spice level) and spice level was also good

I went here to introduce my date to Indian curry! He tried a spicy lamb curry for the first time and I tried the mint curry, which was a first for me, but I adored it - I ordered mild/medium spiciness and it was perfect and pleasantly warm. The menu was easy to read. We both enjoyed out meal greatly, and the ambiance was relaxed; it was nice to be able to hear the fountain nearby and feel the breeze from the street. We were seated inside, but the doors were wide open for ventilation and it was not too windy. Felt very safe. The bathrooms were also very fine!

Simply the best Indian food I’ve eaten outside of home - an absolute gem. Congratulations to Steven and his team for the excellent cuisine, great service and lovely setting. Spot on ! Don’t miss this place if you are in San Diego - we took lunch and dinner and it was consistently great.

Looking for Chicken Masala here's your sign. You can choose your heat level. The breads are awesome we did a little of everything and the side suaces (green one is awesome) food is fresh and homemade. The atmosphere and customer service are great making this place overall winner. Love everything and will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family.

Nice atmosphere created inside with pictures and murals. Food was good with a choice between different levels of spicy. However even the hottest spicy was not as hot as we had hoped for. Drink were good. Appetizers we had Samosa which were very good. Parking nearby in garages and neighborhoods.

Great ambience, and awesome service. The food was also great. Gobi Manchurian is a must try! Paneer tikka masala was so so but Malai kofta and Dal Tadka were awesome. Parking is limited, but street parking is available.

I recently visited Indian Palace in Hillcrest, a culinary gem established in 1993. The restaurant boasts a focus on modern Indian cuisine, offering a delightful array of popular dishes. The ambiance exudes an urban yet sophisticated vibe, creating a pleasant dining experience. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was noteworthy, adding to the overall positive impression. A definite recommendation for those seeking authentic and contemporary Indian flavors. Make sure to ask for Vishar, bar tender and sever with great experience.

We used to love Bombay, since the new owner took over two-ish years back- hence the new name- the food quality and flavor have really gone down hill. Gave it another try tonight- was still a miss- Very bland. Unfortunately will not be back.

Best Indian food ever! We were starving on a Monday afternoon, craving for Indian food. We got the Karahi Paneer, Aloo Gobi and Dal Tadka. For bread, we got Roti and Garlic Nan. Everything was amazing! Aloo Gobi is a must have! The staff was friendly and the service was quick! The Mango Kulfi is to die for! The restaurant ambiance is royal, the interiors are classy! Overall definitely recommended! We will definitely visit again soon!
