This is a nice place and open to the public. Is also good to take a walk, to walk your dog, family friendly, for fishing if you are into it, and biking. There is a small parking lot and street parking across the other end of the lake, public restrooms, some benches around the lake, and ducks. At about the middle on the side of the lake there is this little hidden area where one can sit or walk around where water runs down to the lake This is not a park with a lake and a place for you if you dislike dirt.

This is a very well kept and beautiful lake in the middle of a housing track. I’ve come here multiple times for walking/running, which the lake has a trail around it. I mainly come here for fishing. No joke, every time I come here, I catch something. I love this place!

Great fishing spot most people dont know about. Cleanest water of any of the parks in North O.C. The lake has Bass, Catfish, Carp and sunfish. Great place for the little ones trying fishing for the first time. For pan fish wax worms and earth worms are your best bet. Wal-mart down the street helps if you forgot anything

We lived in La Harbra back in the early 60's and used to fish here with my brothers. Things I remember are dragonflies, lilypads, frogs, bluegill, horse droppings, a small wooden dock at the south end, I think. It smelled like a lagoonish pond. I believe it was named Basanchury Lake. We thought it was pronounced "Bass and Cherry" Lake. Great memories. Our parents could leave us there all day with no issues.

I just love this place. The lake is lovely and well kept. Its a nice walk around or you can crosd over and go to the trail. It's a peaceful and relaxing place. There are tables for a picnic benches along the water restrooms and you can even fish here. It's a great place to enjoy

My dad taught me to fish there in the late 60's. Fond memories. No houses, dirt parking lot, very remote in the day.

Enjoyed a timeless friendly outing with my friends walking around the lake and park it was fun and interesting seeing all the wildlife around the area and in the lake will definitely come back and maybe fish once I get a fishing rod

I have a special connection with this lake. My mother when she was pregnant with me would walk around this lake. It’s a very peaceful area! I love coming here to chill, think, write. You can fish and there’s trails for bike riders and walkers/runners.
