-edited April 2022- Went back here last night because guiseppe is my family's favorite comfort food. However, was abit disapppointed because the quality is not consistent last night. We ordered linguine puttanesca and it was awful. The taste was scally and fishy. We asked the server to check if this is normal and she came back saying that it is normal because of the anchovies. But definitely not the same taste we had previously even in other restos. Taste like the sauce came from a sardine can. The quattro stagioni pizza tastes good but the dough was also soggy. Not the dough we expected. However, ordered another pizza which is the Don carmelo and no issues with the dough. Their spaghetti special which is spag con polpette was also very nice. Al dente and superb, the quality that we are expecting. Anyhow, lowering my star rating due to inconsistencies but will still go back. Expecting consistent quality since they are not cheap. ------ older review ----- Went to Giuseppe pizzeria and sicilian roast in boardwalk, overlooking the esplanade. Tried their Quattro stagioni pizza and it was good. Same with Pizza don carmelo, very nice especially since it is freshly cooked. Pizza crust is not too thick, not too thin. Their Spaghetti bolognese and Spaghetti carbonara are also al dente and great taste. Some people may find the pasta a bit hard but overall its okay. Their americano coffee is also good. Overall the place has great ambience, italian music and great food. They have an outdoor area/al fresco with proper social distancing spaces as well.

We ordered quattro formaggi pizza and truffle cheese pasta. The dough was soft and chewy, just the way I like it. The pasta was cooked on a cheese wheel. I’m giving it four stars because the prices are on the expensive side.

The ambiance, cleanliness and Italian music provided a wonderful atmospheric experience. The meat and cheese antipasto was delicious and feeds 2 people easily. The staff was accommodating, polite and professional. At the time we dined, they did not serve alcohol of any kind, but there was a decent list of mocktails, sodas and Italian mineral water. It's more expensive than an average restaurant, but in my opinion the quality of the food, professional staff and overall environment are well worth the cost. We will be dining here again.

Went here to try the pizza and it did not disappoint. The flavours blend well and the pizza dough has that distinct wood-oven-baked flavour. I got the Vegetariana and the vegetables were fresh. Definitely worth its price! I’ll definitely go back to try the other menu items. The restaurant’s ambiance is very serene. The type where you can eat your lunch in peace. Service is stellar! The servers are very attentive, fast and accommodating. Overall a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend for brunch catch-ups and date nights! 😊

Came here on a soft opening / dry run stage, so the service is still spotty, the pastas and pizzas are delicious although their rib eye needs to be fine tuned. Had to wait a while since it was limited seating and we didnt know that you had to make reservations bit overall the place had a good ambience, servers were nice and polite after the opening kinks have been worked out, I think this will be a really cozy place to dine in.

As usual, great service, great staff, great food. There was an extremely minor issue with a drink, but to be given a complimentary dessert by the team as an apology was absolutely outstanding!!! Absolutely no need and completely unexpected. 5 stars to this 👊😎

They have really good pizza and pasta. Definitely recommend. I had fun with my friends there, and since its his birthday, they gave him free chocolate pudding... Unfortunately there's not too many drinks 🥲

One of the best Italian restaurants I've gone to in Visayas! What I loved most was the thin crust pizza as a pizza lover. The bread is so crispy and overall the taste is 5/5. I loved the hot sauce with it too. The service is very good and the atmosphere as well. You can dine inside or outdoors as well. I would love to come back here again when I visit Iloilo.

It was my first time to try this resto which was recommended by one of the friends that came with me. There was three of us and they put us in the second level balcony as they said that the big table inside were reserved. We ordered the Pizza alla Gregorio, Spaghetti Bolognese and Chicken Milanese as advised by the waiter as we couldn't decide what to get. My friend said that with our orders there would be no more space in our table which was very small. The waiter told us that we could go inside in the big table which was inconsistent with what the other waitress/receptionist told us earlier. So we transferred inside. The food wasn't that great to be honest. It was meh... I was quite shock because of their 4.8 rating. The only good thing we had was the mocktails by Monkey Business. We ordered the Mango Tango, Red Mary and the Cucumber Dazzle. They had a beautiful presentation and delicious. The second round was taken care of the bartender. He made us refreshing drinks. One was based on strawberry, the other blueberry and the last one was mint. Best mocktails ever. Negatives: -Staff should know which tables are reserves or not. -How can you put three people on a small table? What happens to the food they order? -One of the waiter was watching the game that night. He was so focused. He didn't see us calling him. It took us three tries before he noticed. -The receptionist was busy looking at FB photos that she didn't see me trying to give her the car park slip to be stamped on. Pros: The place had a good ambiance. It had a really cool decor. Seats where not that close to each other.

UPDATE [11-23-2022 ] and the world cup fever is aliiiiivvveee!!! thank you for patronizing football here in the so called "football capital of the philippines.. " ❤️❤️❤️ 🤟🤟🤟✌️✌️✌️ UPDATE [10-20-2022]: one of those nights when you get to get out of work late.. went here for a few drinks and chit chat before going home. alas, they wont accept card payment anymore.. why? i don't know. the just won't. for a place as posh and as cool as thus, they should maintain the most convenient mode of payment for their customers.. plus.. they used to have a dedicated TV with football in it. now they don't. youll have to request the bartender for football to be shown in one of their TVs... sad.. ----- cool place to chill.. it has bein sports in their tv which airs live football and replay football matches.. sadly, i went there not knowing its the local basketball league finals.. oh well, one of those times when i wish i was in europe.. 😁✌️ food is excellent.. have tried the cold cuts and the classic spaghetti.. tasted just it's supposed to taste.. yum! the four cheese pizza though.. its LACKING CHEESE I had to add cheddar to my take away order when i got home... lots of room for improvement! 😊

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Giuseppe Pizzeria and Sicilian Roast in Iloilo City, and it was an incredible experience. The highlight of my meal was definitely the lasagna - it was out of this world! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the layers of cheese, meat, and sauce were perfectly balanced. I couldn't get enough of it! The staff were also a standout - they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made me feel right at home. The service was impeccable, and my food arrived promptly and without any issues. I also tried the porchetta, which was very soft and tender, although it was a little fatty for my taste. The chicken with bacon was also good, although it was a bit on the bland side. However, given that Giuseppe Pizzeria is a fine dining restaurant, I found the prices to be very reasonable. Overall, I would definitely recommend Giuseppe Pizzeria and Sicilian Roast. The lasagna alone is worth the trip, and the staff and service were top-notch. While the porchetta and chicken with bacon weren't my favorite dishes, they were still good, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the fine dining experience. Definitely a 5 out of 5 for me!

Yum! Simply yum! We had the mushroom soup, a margarita, and spaghetti pomodoro plus ended with a coffee and chocolate pudding. Every dish was better than the previous one. Very generous portions and good to share. I highly recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant. Molto Bene! Masarap ❤️

So great to find an authentic Italian restaurant in Iloilo. Being from California, I missed it a lot. We always try something different. Never have been disappointed with the pizza to their specialty dishes, including the desserts. Great food and a staff that is so friendly and accommodating. Will always be back!!!!!

This place serves authentic Italian food. Pizza was Naples style and delicious, staff really friendly and great with my unobtainable toddler. Lovely place, pricey, but worth every penny.
