My 2 lovely kids love to walk around this street during Dinagyang Festival. They had all the energy just for the sake of how Dinagyang feels

One of the very busy streets of Iloilo. The buildings and old structures are all well preserved. Indeed, Iloilo is the place where past is always present!

Busy area, many establishments are located there. We stayed in a nearby hotel last Dinagyang. The streets are closed paving way to more walking and merry making😊

It’s the old business downtown of Iloilo. Most shops here are priced cheaply compared to other shops in the city. Lots of fabric and sewing materials, flip flops and shoes, ready-made school uniforms, some food, just to name a few. Stores close early, like at 5:30pm.

Calle Real in Iloilo City is like a time machine that will bring you to the past because of its old buildings that were constructed way back early 1900s. The highlight of this place is its buzzing city life because of the many people who conducts business and live their day to day lives here. The city is vibrant good for photo walk and street photography.

One of the oldest establishments in the city of Iloilo. Good for shopping for those with tight budget. The only problem is lack of parking space for those with cars. .

I never really entered the establishment. Only gazed it from the outside. It feels like you are travelling back in time. The building was preserved well. The area surrounding it is clean. Organized. I saw some traffic officers on the area to clear the area from traffic jams.

Fabulous old world feels. The classic architecture of buildings in the area makes you feel that it's somewhere in Europe until you see all the "black spaghetti" electrical wirings.

The place I visited is a private place but below the building are lawyer's offices. The owner is so warm and welcoming. She showed us her private Christmas Village which she joyfully begun years back. A million thanks Ma'am Mimi. God bless you and your family.

Iloilo Calle Real has same vibes with George town in Penang Malaysia and Phuket Old town in Thailand. Such a nice place to visit as the culture is undeniably alive and with wide variety of Ilonggo cuisines available everywhere. Check the photos taken from the 3 cities mentioned.

It is very accessible, the old buildings are still majestic, however, the spiderweb like electric lines destroyed the aesthetics. I hope the City government will make an effort to preserve those buildings which are part of the city's business history.

It's a travel back in time experience! I will always cherish this old place as part of my college memories in Iloilo. Still the same old buildings, stores, esquinitas, etc., but still clean and organized. There's an old world charm you can feel visiting this part of the city. I'll keep coming back!❤️

This is a place in Iloilo Downtown where the past is always present. You can find a lot of stores operating in the traditional way. Establishments here were once the go-to of people in Iloilo.

A little more run down compared to the last time i visited there (2019). Lots of cheap things to buy. There are street food nearby and the famous Roberto's siopao is walking distance.

For those visiting, no. 1 thing is it's a busy place, many people buying or going around and no. 2 there are a lot of street vendors which obstruct the pathways so careful when walking
