If you want to try the original batchoy and find many other native products, visit this market. We tried the Batchoy at Netong's and we bought the local fruit Batuan/Batwan used as a flavoring (sour).

If you want a taste of the legendary la paz batchoy where else could you find it? Definitely here. Deco’s, Ted's and Netong's all have a stall here and Madge Cafe too. A must visit if ever you are in iloilo.

Lapaz market is under renovation. Parking is a challenge for those with vehicles especially during rush hours (as always). The all time favorite food stalls offering the Ilongo noodle dish Batchoy (a.k.a. the Original Lapaz Batchoy)- Teds/Deco/Netongs, are all open. And the original Native Coffee of Madge Cafe still satisfied my longing for a strong, bitter brew. Over all the nostalgia of the market of old still lingers.

Excellent Public Market. I was really amazed of how they organized such public market with a huge numbers of vendors. From Dry to Wet goods... And most of ALL ...affordable... And in reasonable Prices. From Seafoods...poultry... Meats...veggies, etc... COME and VISIT LA PAZ PUBLIC MARKET...and see it by your self. KODUS to the LGU and all Vendors.

As of November 1 the La Paz Market is undergoing rehabilitation to improve the facilities of the market

I did not had a chance to visit La Paz public market in my first visit so i make it a point this time to visit here. The famous Decos La Paz Batchoy. Me and friends ordered special batchoy with fresh egg. Namit gid!
